Taylor is getting those reps in for Ascent London, so welcome to our first guest-hosted episode of Recollection Step featuring Maindeck David from @CarefulStudyPod! In addition to being a vicious Fire Aggro player, David works hard to build and grow the PA Grand Archive community - and he makes content with other Maindeck teammates Stevo and Corbin (leoblade)! Through being denied twice, David brings to the table a discussion of the Creator's Guild and Content Creation in general - his lessons learned, and his mentality I think are extremely healthy in the face of a tantalizing prize pool that has proven more difficult for many to reach than expected. I hope you enjoy this guest discussion about a bit of a different topic between Guild Member and Guild Hopeful - and make sure to subscribe to Careful Study if you enjoy hearing David's thoughts! Dan and Taylor explore 3 DUAL ELEMENT decks that have seen some success in Regionals in Grand Archive's current metagame! We look at LostApple's Fortuitous Wind Nico, ShaunDaSheep1's Fire Rebuke Slice and Dice Vanitas, and Kitsumeow's Fire Aggro Mill Nico! All of these decks were able to take wins against top decks in the format, making them ripe for further exploration in a direction few players have been willing to dive into! Additionally, we do a brief overview of some of the meta adaptations we've seen since SEA Nats. Midrange Assassin makes its move and contends well with Burst Asunder!
