IBIZA FASHION FESTIVALS' SUSTAINABLE APPROACH
Season 1 · Episode 17
mercredi 17 juin 2020 • Duration 10:37
We interview Karen Windle, CEO and Organiser of Ibiza Fashion Festival about fast fashion and why it's time to finally move to sustainable fashion.
ABOUT IBIZA FASHION FESTIVAL
We believe in making a positive change for our future generations. Setting the way forward by becoming an important part of the overall environmental movement in the fashion industry. Our sustainable experts and exclusive designers provide knowledge and guidance to our attendees. Fashion is provocative and expressive, making us human, but this comes at a price. Fashion is the second biggest pollutant causing a devastating impact on the planet. Image has become a large part of our social interaction of modern lives, achieving the final destination of perfection is addictive. This has contributed to a huge waste problem, we all need to slow down and consider our choices as consumers. Our aim is to make the leap to bring creative and inventive collections to the forefront. The era of Athropologence is upon us, meaning we are the first generation to face the irreversible damage to nature. In this current time of turbulence, we can see a light shining on us, this is the time to respect Mother Earth by connecting with the positive vibration of humanity.
