Before the comeback. Before the legendary battles. Before Justin Gatlin became one of the most resilient sprinters in Track & Field history… there was a story most people never heard. We’re taking it all the way back to where Ready Set Go began. In the ORIGINAL RSG Episode 1, Rodney Green sits down with Justin Gatlin for one of the rawest and most personal conversations we’ve ever released.Justin opens up about the moment his entire world changed: fighting for his career in court, watching his parents suffer beside him, losing sponsors, friends and his identity almost overnight, and crying himself to sleep night after night. He talks candidly about the years away from the sport, drinking to numb the pain, a terrifying night that forced him to confront where his life was headed, and the decision that ultimately changed everything:He was going to fight his way back. This is the human story behind one of the greatest comeback careers in sprinting history. For everyone who remembers the GOLDEN ERA of sprinting — Gatlin, Bolt, Gay, Blake, Powell and a generation that made every 100m feel like must-see television — this is where the RSG story started.

Olympic gold medalist THE English Gardner joins Ready Set Go for one of the rawest, funniest, and most powerful conversations we’ve had yet. From being discovered as a kid running in basketball shoes, to becoming a five-time NCAA champion at Oregon, to winning a U.S. title and running 10.74 at the Olympic Trials, English’s story is not the clean, perfect highlight reel people think they know. She opens up about the ACL injury that nearly ended her college dream, her mother’s battle with stage 4 breast cancer, the pressure of turning pro, training under John Smith, the dark mental health battle she faced in 2016, and the torn meniscus she carried all the way to Olympic gold. Then she takes us inside one of the wildest moments in Olympic history: the 2016 Team USA women’s 4x100 relay, the dropped baton, the protest, running alone in lane one, stolen spikes, a bad knee, and still walking away with gold. This is English Gardner like you’ve never heard her before: hilarious, brutally honest, spiritual, competitive, emotional, and still every bit the dog.Tap in for a real conversation about Track & Field, survival, greatness, faith, coaching, and what it actually takes to keep going when everything goes wrong.Featuring Justin Gatlin, Rodney Green, and English Gardner.

The World Indoor gold medalist joins Justin Gatlin and Rodney Green for a raw in-studio conversation about football mentality, mental warfare, confidence, faith, and why he believes winning matters more than times. Mother’s Day gets real on Ready Set Go.Justin Gatlin and Rodney Green sit down with Keisha Bishop, mother of Noah Lyles, Josephus Lyles, and Abby Lyles, for one of the most powerful and honest conversations we’ve had on the show. This episode goes far beyond medals, contracts, and fast times. Keisha opens up about raising elite athletes, helping her sons turn pro out of high school, protecting their identity beyond Track & Field, and preparing them for the business side of the sport before the world ever knew their names. She also gets raw about motherhood, sacrifice, divorce, food stamps, mental health, empty nest grief, and the unseen work parents do long before the cameras arrive. From putting Noah on a plane to Ukraine as a ninth grader, to negotiating chaperone protections in pro contracts, to watching Bullis bring the Penn Relays wheel back to America, this is a masterclass for parents, athletes, and anyone trying to build greatness without losing themselves. This one is about mothers. Legacy. Faith. Sacrifice. Survival. And the village behind every champion.
