This is the first Rational Boomer Podcast that has a listener as a guest. I threw the idea out a little while ago. Kevin was the first and and to date the only listener to take me up on my offer. We talked about the 5 subpoena issued to sitting members of Congress, the Grand Jury investigation in to Donald Trump and other stuff. Let's get into it.

Yesterday was a big vote in the U.S. Senate. Majority Leader Chuck Schummer brought a Bill to Senate floor with hopes of codifying Roe V Wade. . Well to no surprise to no one it didn't go well. Let's get into it.

When it comes to Republicans we can say "They are who we thought they were." They are corrupt minds manipulating simple minds. Let's get into it.

While Republicans are in fact disgusting they are also disgusted. As much as they believe the insurrection was nothing but a peaceful protest they feel the Pro Lifers protesting in front of Supreme Court Justices homes is appalling. The Pro life activists are protesting on public property and are very peaceful. Which is a right given us by the Constitution. But of course the Constitution is important to Republicans. Let get into it.

We talk about the Supreme Court and the two party system in answering two emails from listeners. Mitch McConnell is talking about a national ban on abortion. Which is strange given the fact that he didn't want to talk about it. Let's get into it.                           

Republicans find themselves in a pickle. If they overturn Roe V Wade they are screwed in the Mid-Terms. But if they don't overturn Roe V. Wade they are also screwed. Russians are now trying to cause a rift between Boomers and Millennials. Let's get into it.

Mother's day was yesterday but I needed  to take a little time to talk about my mom. But don't worry I will be getting the news as I do. Just bear with on this one.

the verdict is in and Marjorie Taylor Green will be allowed to run for re-election. That is if she is able to get over a number of hurdles between now and November. She is definitely going to go through some things. Let's get into it.

There is some question as to who leaked the Supreme Court's Draft Opinion regarding overturning Roe V Wade. Initially you would think it would have been maybe a liberal clerk. But as time passes it's looking like it may be a conservative. Maybe even Chief Justice John Robert. Let's get into it.

Politico published a leaked Supreme Court Draft Opinion that said the they voted to overturn Roe V Wade. It's not a done deal as yet but they are definitely headed that way. This is going to be a mess. Let's get into it.

We got a few emails, all making some good points and had great questions. Nancy Pelosi made a trip to Kyiv to talk to Ukrainian President Zelensky. The battle of the dumb. Let's get into it.

Donald Trump has no problems with the January 6th Insurrectionists or the White Supremacists in Charlottesville. No they are very fine people and he loves them. However when Black Lives Matters protests in the wake of the George Floyd murder he loses his shit. He becomes unhinged and borders a nervous breakdown. Let's get into it

New York Attorney General Laticia James is in the middle of a civil lawsuit against against the Trump Organization and Donald Trump himself. James demanded documents from Trump and he has yet to comply. The judge found him in contempt and fined $10,000 a day. He tried to appeal it as he does and the judge told him to suck it. Let's get into it.

Ed joins me on the podcast as he frequently does. We discuss the upcoming January 6th Committee public, televised hearings coming in June. The QAnon Congressional candidates in Arizona debate. Biden decides to get tough. Let's get into it.

It's been 18 months since the 2020 Presidential election and Trumplicans are claiming the election was stolen. There has been nary a shred of evidence but still that rant on. But it's not stopping there. It seems they are now trying to breach the voting machines. In fact there are videos of election videos and other people messing with the machines, attempting to clone and copying hard drives. Let's get into it.

Well the Grand Jury in the Manhattan District is coming to an end. There's been some question as to whether or not D.A. Allen Bragg would pursue an indictment against Donald Trump. If the re-convene a new Grand Jury they probably are. If there is no new Grand Jury they are probably not going after Donald Trump. But before you get excited there's more to the story. Oh and there's a new Grand Jury starting on May 2nd in Georgia. Let's get into it.

Listener Wil is back with us on the show. You all seemed to like him last time he was on. Wil and I talked in depth about the event in Pennsylvania and Judge Aileen Cannon's dismissal of the Classified Documents case. Let's get into it.

Just as Kevin McCarthy has started to deal with the recordings that were released regarding his talk of using the 25th Amendment to remove Donald Trump from office another set of recordings were released. In these McCarthy was concerned with some of his Republican peers making inflammatory statements and putting other representatives safety at risk.

CNN obtained a trove of texts that come from the documents that Mark Meadows voluntary turned over to the January 6th Committee. It's showing that a lot of Republicans from the Administration, the Cabinet, The media and Congress knew about and helped to coordinated the insurrection. Putin is eyeing yet another country to invade and Donald Trump just looking stupid again much to his chagrin. Let's get into it.

Mark Meadows voluntarily turned over 2300 text messages to the January 6th Committee. All of which are pretty damning. Most people on Trumps inner circle were quite aware of what was occurring with the planned coup. Which is becoming problematic for the Republicans. Let's get into it.

On January 6th during the insurrection Vice President Mike Pence was in the Capital. He knew that Donald Trump was not happy with him because he planned to certify the 2020 election. When the attack began on the U.S. Capital he knew the crowd was looking for him and the meant him harm. But when he had the opportunity to leave by car with the Secret Service. But he declined. Seems strange. Let's get into it.

Marjorie Taylor Green testified in a Georgia court on Friday. She spent a lot of time saying "I don't recall" a typical Republican dodge. It bordered on ridiculous. She did got caught up a few times and of course she looked guilty as hell. Now it's on the judge for the decision. Let's get into it.

The Mask Mandate for airlines and public transportation was supposed to come to an end on April 18th. But then the CDC extended it through May 3rd. That is until a Federal Judge struck down that extension. So the mandate is officially over. But wait until you hear about the judge that issued that decision. Let's get into it.

Ed and I get together once again to solve the worlds problems. Now I need to give you a heads up. When I recorded this I assigned the wrong microphone to myself. Which makes the quality a lot lower than I would normally accept. That said, I wasn't going to be able get Ed back and redo it so I posted it anyway. It's perfectly clear. We've had four mass shootings in this country within the last week. Two were in the same state and two were on the same day. This brings us to 130 mass shootings in this country in the first four months of this year. I can't be the only one that finds this disturbing. Let's get into it.

We've got Russia committing atrocities in Ukraine. Raping, torturing and murdering women and children. The U.S. is providing weapons but still feels like we are just standing on the sidelines watching these horrors.  It's hard but if we step in we could be dragged into a nuclear conflict. Stephen Miller testified in front of the January 6th Committee the other day. To say it didn't go well would be an understatement. Let's be honest, Miller is a creepy, cartoon bad guy, racist POS. All he does is talk longer, louder, he diverts, distracts and doesn't address facts. So this isn't conducive to a deposition. Let's get into it.

Yet another tragic situation, that we are seeing all too often. A cop shoots and kills a young black man and there's multiple videos release. You would think with all that has happened some lesson would have been learned. But apparently not. Let's get into it.

Because we are separated from the war it's easy to become desensitized to it all. We need to understand what's actually happening there and we can't allow it to continue. Let's get into it.

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner both sat with and testified in front of the January 6th Committee. They didn't plead  the Fifth nor did they claim executive privilege. After the testimony the January 6th Committee seemed pleased with the outcome. Then Liz Cheney comes out and as much as says that the committee has enough evidence to refer Donald Trump to the Department of Justice. Hmmm, let's get into it.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott has come up with a brilliant idea. He wants to load up illegal aliens from the border on to buses and ship them off to Washington DC. That will show Joe Biden. Yeah right Greggy. You're definitely not doing that. Let's get into it.
