What city would be complete without politics and its politicians? Well, a small town admittedly isn't going to get the same kind of big wigs and crime bosses you'll see in a major city, but hey, the advantage of a narrative is that we can get familiar with our petty lords and ladies ahead of time.

What is politics without a glacial upheaval of the status quo? Why, it's the status quo, and it's also glacial.

We have a holiday season episode of Radio Skyline! A jolly old soul with a sack full of forgiveness is offering free gifts this year, with only certain exceptions.

The local deer populations have grown out of control, and Radio Skyline interviews one of the hunters who plans to do something about it.

It turns out the small towns are the voters that shoot down a hike on the gasoline tax because they don't believe for even a second that their local roads will be the ones that get repaired.

One fascinating aspect of modern, local politics is the effort to keep large corporations where they are, or to entice them to move to new cities. I think at this point the data shows that the tax breaks are actually a net loss for the locals, but cities hold out hope anyway because in some theoretical future, forty years later, maybe those companies will pay taxes, and then you'll have a huge cut of the global economy in your town.

As the city expands, the farming community shrinks! But why? In reality, this is a pretty complex problem. We've been hearing about farmers and trade situation, but they've it rough for years, and in my local area there's been a major exodus from the countryside as farming families close up shop and move to the city. However, ten minutes isn't enough to get in it in a real way, and that would be much too serious for Radio Skyline.

October means the beginning of the holiday seasons for a lot of us, and in the city of Macaque it means a whole lot of eating and other shenanigans. Catapults, pumpkins, health code violations! Be there and don't forget where you ate so you can tell the doctors!

What is the one thing all the major tech companies really good at? Looking innovative, against all good sense. One Thing Enterprises needs to stay ahead of the curve, or the loop in this case.
