This trip I been been looking forward to for a very long time now. Not only to be fishing this venue which I have heard so many good things about but the fact that hopefully I will catch my first ever cat fish. In this trip away i'm joined with Andrew and Mark. With the biggest fish coming out over the weekend joined with a few others I'm filled with excitment that they are on the feed and my chances of catching one are higher than normal. Back on Legends Lake for a longer than normal overnighter. Buzzing once again that this could be the trip that I finally get my 30. Will the gods bless me or will I have to wait. Either way its going to be great.

So a couple of hours have come free to do a spot of fishing over the weekend. So it's a no brainer for me, lets go float fishing for carp.

So Alex and I are back on Legends lake doing our first over nighter of 2022 super excited to be back. Its a very hard lake with wise carp in so its going to be working progress in building apon each trip.

Fishing a new venue today on the float rod. Just love the buzz when you fish a new water for the first time and the unknown of what mighy be in there.

Well the swim that I wanted to fish again is back open, really excited to see what my right rod can produce fishing the far margin shelf too. Hopefully we will put one if the big ones on the bank.

This trip Im buzzing for as I just love catching carp on the float rod. With all my recent success of puting carp on the bank they have clearly woken up from the winter and are hungry or is it because they just cant get enough of all the DNA SLK that I have been given them. So lets find out!!!

So today I jump back on towers lake to have another go for the big leather that lives in here, so im told! First time trying DNA's SLK with it do the job on this lake too? There is only 1 way to find out.

So after purchasing that chicken tikka liquid and then every time I have just it in my carp fishing. I have always thought that the smell would be great on the river. So I just had to give it ago. Come and have a listen to see if it worked.

Well spring is here and this is when a lot of people start fishing again. So in this podcast I talk you through how to spool your fishing reel with mono.

Alex and I are back on Atkins lake today on a mission to get one of the bigger carp out of this lake, armed with DNA's SLK which is doing the job so far on here for us. The question is will the carp gods bless us or will they make us wait?

So after what seems to be a long break away from fishing this lake, im back! Really buzzing for this trip. Joined with Alex once again and in search for the 30 that lives in here.

BIG BIG BIG TOPIC this - Sharp Hooks - In this podcast I talk about my new plan going forward with sharper hooks, which of course has a little story to it. 

I have always said this if an opportunity comes up to go fishing, take it! And in todays case you find me fishing for pike on the River Thames once again for pike. I only have a max couple if hours. But 1 fish would make the journey all worth it. Back in the same swim as last time where i caught from with everything crossed that the pike gods will grace my mat with another pike or if im even more lucky 2. So back in Milton Keynes trying to get my first pike out of this lake. This is looking like my last trip here now untill October onwards, so it would be great to finish here on a high. So keeping my fingers crossed its going to be a banger. Joined with 3 Andrew, Mark and one of his mates. So come have a listen and see if 1 of the 9 rods out can produce the goods.

Soooooooo back again still trying to put my first pike on the blank this season. Todays trip im meeting up with Andrew dead baiting for pike on the River Thames. Fingers crossed the pike gods bless me with a pike to end the far tooooooooo long blank.

So im pike out still trying to catch my first pike of the season and im joined with my good friend Andrew who is now back from him Spain break. Back out on Rousebarn 2 and jumping back on the same spots as last week. With one thing in mind that lump of a carp I lost!!!

Super buzzing for this trip in the build up. I have everything crossed that this time I can put a pike on the bank.

OK so it's the next day after my blank fishing for pike on this lake. I am going to catch a pike before the season is over definitely. I'm not given up on this mission. So a change of swim is in order.

Back on the Noisy lake but this time with my pike rods. I have decided to up my game and put more time into pike fishing to get me my first pike of the season as we all no that once the season is over I'll be heavily fishing for Carp again. Its the first time I have pike fished this venue but I have heard from good sources that there are pike in here. Will the pike gods bless me or will it be another blank?

OK I really need to get a pike before the end of the season. So I have decided to give an old special place of mine a go again, the river colne. Surely I can make it happen this time! I've only got about an hour and half free before it gets dark, so fingers crossed it's pike feeding time.

Back out with my lure rod still in search of my first pike of the season. Will the pike gods bless me or are they going to make me wait even longer?

So I've not been able to fish now with 2 weeks due to isolation so I am super buzzed up to get the rods out for this trip, especially when Alex and I have had a nice little run of twenty pounders. So come have a listen and hopefully the carp gods will bless us with the 30lber that swims around in this lake.

This lake really does have some gems in and it really starting to get hold of me now. Just can't stop thinking about it. Come and join Alex and I see how we get on.

Come on DNA SLK are going to produce the goods today or was it just a fluke last time.

Hope you have had a great Christmas. So today I'm back out lure fishing still trying to put my first pike on the bank for the year at this point I'll settle for the smallest one going. So come and have a listen to see how I get on.

I just had to go back. This lake will not beat me again in the winter. I just know I have the ability to catch from this lake all year round

Back on the noisy lake the week leading up to Christmas. Alex and I crossing everything that we can pull a full out the bag and you never know we might even get lucky and get that 30lber swimming around in here.

Back out lure fishing again trying to put my fist pike of the season on the bank. Are the pike gods with me or will they make me wait longer. Jumping onto Nandos Lake in this trip as know there is 20lber there which would be the best start. So come have a listen and find out how I get on.

Well when a free chance comes up to go fishing I just can't say no. So off to Atkins Lake it is. So come and join me in this sesh and trust me its a good one.

So back on Atkins Lake in hope to catch the 30lber. So today I want to try red maggots on a maggot clip. If I remember to get them out of the fridge this time and on my other rod good old yellow pineapple pop up. So let's see if the carp gods are on my side tonight.

Back out pike fishing on a mission to catch my first pike of the season. This time I have left the dead baits at home and brought out the big boy lures. Are the pike gods with me today?

So 3rd trip now on Atkins Lake will our carp roll continue? Will the carp gods bless us with the 30lber or will the Lake just shut up shop?

So on the road today for this episode joined with Mark, Andrew and Alan. It's a day ticket venue that holds some special fish in.

So Alex and I have decided to jump back on Atkins Lake again for a cheeky few hours to see if we can repeat last weeks success. The weather has really turned since last week and the clocks have gone back. So come join us to see if the carp gods want to bless us with the 30lber that lives in there.
