In this opening episode, we attempt to launch a podcast network — and immediately get stuck on what to name it. What follows is a mix of genuinely thoughtful ideas, increasingly questionable suggestions, and a slow descent into frippery and naked rage as we try to land on something that actually works.

Somewhere in there, we talk about why we love sci-fi, pop-culture and the kinds of conversations we want to have (about whatever), and what this whole thing might become — if we can agree on a name.

Spoiler: we do. Eventually.
