FINAL EPISODE: Farewell Putting the Pieces Together - Merging with Leading Collaborative Response
Episode 50
Sunday, December 31, 2023 • Duration 27:41
In episode 50 of Putting the Pieces Together, the FINAL episode, Jennifer, Lorna and Kurtis reflect on the growth of Jigsaw Learning and Collaborative Response as their own advice is taken: from getting started with podcasting to share a message to taking aim by refining the focus to be definitive and purposeful in reaching the intended audiences.
Key learnings over the course of the podcast include being authentic and sharing not only the learning but the heart that went into the celebrations, the challenges, the mistakes, and the successes.
If you can take away one thing from this episode as you continue to refine and deepen your understanding, it is the hope that as you progress, you experience the cumulative effect of making a point of each and every step along the way trying to make things just a little bit better.

Harnessing Collaboration So That the Results Speak for Themselves
Episode 46
Saturday, August 12, 2023 • Duration 11:42
In episode 46 of Putting the Pieces Together, Jennifer, Lorna and Kurtis spend time with Principal Joe Marion and Family Outreach Worker Rhonda Miron of Dr. Brosseau School (part of Lakeland Catholic Schools). In episode 45 of Putting the Pieces Together, Jennifer, Lorna and Kurtis connect with Rob Champ, a Learning Leader at Ernest Manning High School with Calgary Board of Education.
Rob articulates how their high school staff of over seventy engage enthusiastically in Collaborative Response to meet the needs of their students. Through the highly structured Collaborative Team Meeting that is supported by the school’s Collaborative Response Committee, staff are able to engage with one another on a professional level in a safe environment. As a result, a community has been built on their commitment to trust, support, and learn from one another.
