This week, I sat down with the owners of ATL Cigar Co. Peter and Leroy dropped some major knowledge about business, friendships, giving back to the community, and of course, quality cigars!
ATL Cigar Co is a new Cigar Brand out of Atlanta that has built a loyal following due to its quality and the respect paid to the city it's named after. Peter and Leroy share the background of the business and a bit about their own friendship.
We discuss what it's like going into business with a close friend and what they do to maintain that tight-knit relationship. Their dedication to friendship perfectly displays what the cigar lifestyle is really about. We also talk about the thought and intention behind the cigars they produce and how they aim to create a brand that embodies Atlanta's spirit.
They also reveal some of the challenges they've had to overcome building this company and what they have planned for the future. Finally, in the vein of community and brotherhood, Leroy and Peter discuss how the roots of ATL Cigar Co. is really in serving others and how they work alongside Comprehensive Community Services to support that mission.

This week, I sat down with the CEO Kweillin Gordon (KG) and Head of Business Development Sheldon Johns-Harris from Greenwood Whiskey. We talked about their humble beginnings, what inspires them and why.

In the very first episode filmed in the all-new Puff, Sip, Chat Studio I had the honor and pleasure of Puffing, Sipping, and Chatting over what just might be the "Best Cigar In the World" as dubbed by Cigar Central in the UK. Needless to say, this was high praise and something I simply could not wait to get my hands on as well as catch up with the good brother Rob Smith; a true entrepreneur and cigar veteran. The man knows his cigars, knows business, and has a voice of gold... if you don't believe me, just watch, listen, and learn as we talk about the industry, the brand, and what we can expect from Meluha in the near future. And we did this over one of the most phenomenal Cabernets I have ever experienced. As a matter of fact, I would refer to the entire affair as an "Exquisite Surrender".....

It's a traditional, laid-back lounge that truly is all about the cigars and its customers.... as they can proudly boast having one of the best collections of House Cigars that I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. I think it's going to take me weeks to smoke them all and I am up for the challenge!

In a bit of a departure from our normal format, the Puff, Sip, Chat Team couldn't pass up the opportunity to spend some time with some of the best and brightest legal minds in the State of Georgia at the 2023 Annual State Bar of Georgia Conference. While we did get a bit of puffing and sipping in; it was mostly about the insightful discussions and inspiring dialogue centered around participation in the legal system to the betterment of community and society.
It was an incredible honor to be the official Cigar retailer and can't wait to do it again in '24!

Great time catching up with Brandon Oveson of Apostate Cigars at Total Product Expo! I had the pleasure of puffing on the "The Initiatory", which a gorgeous ultra-premium Ecuadorian grown Sumatra wrapper over a rich Mexican grown San Andres binder which perfectly encapsulates the complexities of 4 different Dominican fillers. Medium-Full in body with medium strength.
The company was founded by Brandon Oveson and Kendrick Woolstenhulme, both of whom grew up in Utah as active members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and are now the owners of Salt Lake City-based retailer Beehive Cigars.
