The Prophet and his companions return to Mecca to make Umrah (the Minor Pilgrimage)

The Prophet leads the Muslims in the Battle of Khaibar

• Khaibar was a collection of several settlements north of Medina
• The Muslims were victorious and accumulated a large amount of wealth
• Jaffar ibn Abi Talib and other migrants to Abyssinia returned to Medina

The Treaty of Hudaybiyyah has brought peace between the Muslims and the Quraish. Now the Prophet has the opportunity to spread Islam using peaceful means. He begins by sending emissaries to the regional powers of the area.
