| The BAD meetup: Winning the E-Scooter Race with Data @ Project A | PAP070 | 25 Sep 2019 | 00:38:12 | |
We recently held the 3rd edition of the Business And Data Meetup and this time it was all about e-Scooters. People had mixed feelings about the arrival of the micro-mobility companies to Berlin this summer. While some value a fast & fun way to travel around the city, others were more concerned about their own safety and sustainability issues. Without a doubt, the usage of data generated by the scooters improves both operations and product and will help to win this highly competitive race.
With our panel guests Sadie Martin, Product Manager at Tier; Christoph Bernkopf, Data Scientist at Circ; and Claus Unterkicher, General Manager DACH at Voi, we talk about the e-Scooter launch in Berlin, important KPIs and how to build up successful data teams.

Apple Podcast is no longer the big kid on the block. At the beginning of 2019 Spotify invested $400 million in podcast technology, clearly hinting that it’s a central part of their business model. At Project A, we’ve been betting on podcasting since November 2017, so almost two years later we felt, it was a good time to look back and check on our progress.
Danijel Visevic, Director of Communications at Project A, sits down with Joel Dombrower, Jr. Communications Manager at Project A to discuss the 5 things to keep in mind when starting a podcast, whether it makes sense for a company to start its own podcast, and if it's suitable for generating leads.

| Linkedin: Challenging the Blue Giant - with Gianluca Lupo at Social Ads Meetup @Project A | PAP062 | 02 Aug 2019 | 00:18:26 | |
610 million professionals, 30 million company pages and more than 50% feed engagement. Is the social network for professionals ready to challenge the Blue Giant in the advertising field? Linkedin Ads is a powerful platform, full of opportunities but also challenges and obstacles - like pricing, targeting options and creatives. Finding the right account and campaign setup is the key to success. The roadmap of the advertisement platform development looks very similar to Facebooks’ of a few years ago. Indeed, 2019 was the year were Linkedin rolled out interest targeting, lookalikes and conversion based campaign optimisation; arrows which Facebook has had in its quiver for years. Did Linkedin efforts manage to cover the ground separating its technologies from Facebook ones? Listen to Gianluca Lupo, Display Marketing Manager, Project A @Social Ads Meetup from 01.08.2019 discussing the possibilities, best practices and developments of the Linkedin Ads platform during the Social Ads Meetup at Project A Ventures. We try to highlight the strength and weakness points of the social network for professionals, giving at the same time a 360 degrees overview of its possibilities. Enjoy!

| B2B Marketing: Finding the right marketing-mix, tool stack and team - with Björn Sjut, Co-Founder & Managing Director at Finc3 | PAP#058 | 05 Jul 2019 | 00:47:19 | |
Marketing activities of B2C and B2B companies differ, that’s for sure – but how exactly? What are the key components of a successful B2B marketing mix and why should founders consciously decide to either scale media budget or lead research? What are the most promising channels and does Linkedin really work as well for B2B companies as expected? How to even assess this properly, given that attribution is even more complicated than in B2C marketing as touchpoints with multiple employees of a target company are very likely? And finally: What is a viable marketing tech stack to start out with, how does it evolve over time and what profiles does a high-performing B2B marketing team comprise of? Listen to Björn Sjut, Co-Founder & Managing Director at Finc3 and a renowned online marketing professional and Philipp Werner, CMO at Project A, discuss all things B2B marketing.

| Die Anwendung neuropsychologischer Erkenntnisse auf die Unternehmenskommunikation - mit Bob Hardt, Senior Communications Manager bei Project A | PAP#057 | 28 Jun 2019 | 00:40:25 | |
Unternehmen in Deutschland investieren jährlich etwa 80-90 Milliarden Euro in Kommunikationsmaßnahmen.

| Developments in b2b sales: How to cope with change - with Christoph Rösler, Director of Venture Development & Sales | PAP#055 | 14 Jun 2019 | 00:40:49 | |
Sales in the b2b sector have undergone significant changes in the last three to five years. On the one hand, new channels such as Linkedin have proven to be valuable for digital lead generation. On the other, the availability of information online has significantly affected the buying behavior of customers - people don't want to be approached proactively. This means that a switch in the acquisition process between the digital self-service channels and one-to-one personal conversation with your customer is not only challenging but also necessary. Listen to Christoph Rösler, Director of Venture Development & Sales at Project A, and Florian Heinemann, General Partner at Project A, dive deep into the merging of marketing and sales in the customer journey and whether traditional sales still have a role in the modern b2b sector. | Insights into a Startup's CTO life - mit Markus Wuebben, CTO bei Crossengage.io | PAP#044 | 29 Mar 2019 | 01:05:18
Three stages of a company” Modell.

| Investor Relations: Wie gewinnt ein Fonds seine Geldgeber? - mit Maike Haase, Head of Investor Relations and Fund Finance bei Project A | PAP#043 | 22 Mar 2019 | 00:29:22 | |

Creating a sales compensation scheme in a startup can feel like juggling with explosives while blindfolded. In the beginning, you might have very little data about your business to make decisions that can make or break your commercial success. A badly designed compensation scheme can make your sales team unhappy and lead to bad performance and quick turnover. However, a good sales compensation scheme can be a leading factor of team success, driving actions and behaviors on a daily basis in full alignment with your company’s goals. But where do you start when you, as is natural in a startup, know very little about your KPI’s yet? What should you do and not do in the beginning?
