We are much happier with the music. It is so much better than we remembered!

Great first two episodes, only had one complaint about the music. However, we are still wondering whether this was a good way for Bochco to go.

As we suspected, the final episode brought this show to a very satisfying end. BUT we still wanted it to go on. We spend most of the episode comparing it to Monk and then to other short-lived shows.

How Dr. Redmond forgot to put this into the key, we will never know! This should have been our third podcast of Touching Evil (US). At least it is up before the finale!! Enjoy

Another couple of great episodes that fixed so many of the problems of the original. My apologies for ad placement - we are a little surprised after years with none. I am not sure how we will deal with this since our episodes go up essentially unedited. We ramble on until we're done, and that means that we will have to decide where to place ads episode by episode. More work for Dr. Redmond who is swamped right now.

Not only did they fix the remake, but their own brand new episode was absolutely great!

Brilliant remakes. It was like they had listened to this podcast in the future. Glad someone else did the rewriting this time !

For sure that was a season ender but honestly, do we really care! Then again, Coop's back.

They're hitting it out of the ballpark once again. A small quibble is all we could come up with.

What was that!! We really don't have a clue, but great performances.

Unrelenting in its bleakness. Once again an interesting story but we are still trying to become engaged. We start to understand Dave - maybe?

Again a great story - with a number of very tense moments. We are still trying to figure out what is missing to make this a great show.

Fascinating storyline. Extremely competent detectives. But we can't stop seeing Tony Hill (Wire in the Blood) and Ruth (Spooks).

Triggered by this movie, Sheila gets just a little revelatory about her past.  

Crazy entertaining episodes. We kind of like the consistency in the characterizations.

One of Jimmy McGovern's best. A searing and controversial look at the problems of the priesthood in the Roman Catholic Church. Stay tuned on Thursday for the follow-up that is "Doubt".

The Spike Lee movie was School Days - early movie and controversial at the time.

We were blown away by how good and how emotional these episodes were.

One change and Hell Hath No Fury would have been exemplary. They tried to squash a 3 hour story into 46 minutes in the next. Still asking: where's the dog!

Did this way to early! If we had waited until Saturday, this would have been a whole different show.

Still a problem of adaptation. We shall see whether it gets better when they start creating their own stories.

Two decent episodes once again. Once again, however, they just don't seem to be taking Jack seriously enough!

The handover of Hong Kong to China - the lease expired! However, you would barely know that that is what the episode was about.

For the first time, we extensively rewrite. This could have been such a good episode but, sadly, we didn't get do it years earlier.

Just a very sad episode of Cracker. We have some hopes for Paul Abbott as the showrunner, on the upside.

The inevitable end of the stories that have been building up since Albee's story. Sad, horrifying and so logical.

Again, one more devastating episode of Cracker. Jimmy McGovern is back writing.

No where as wrenching as the first season, but so satisfying nevertheless. If only we could have had a season in between these two.

We love this show. It is refreshing to see such moral clarity. We are all over the place in our discussion because there is way too much to talk about. Stayed tuned to Season 2 next Tuesday.

A relentless downer but the best 3 episode arc yet!

We so wanted a different ending to this episode. A brilliant character study of all the characters, brilliantly-written and so depressing.
