Why New Routines Spike Symptoms in Chronic PCS | Ep. 2318 Oct 202600:12:12

Do your symptoms spike every time you try something new?

In Episode 23 of The Post-Concussion Rebuild, I talk about why new routines, therapies or activities can sometimes increase symptoms when you are living with chronic PCS or still have post-concussion symptoms years later.

When symptoms flare after a new recovery action, it can feel like you made yourself worse or had another setback. But that spike may not always mean harm. It may mean your brain did not predict the new input and is trying to protect you.

This episode is about understanding the difference between causing damage and creating a prediction error. It is also about learning how sub-threshold training can help you rebuild tolerance without crashing.

In this episode, I cover:

  • why new inputs can trigger symptom spikes in post-concussion syndrome recovery

  • the difference between causing harm and creating a prediction error

  • why hopeful recovery actions can still feel threatening to your nervous system

  • how your brain’s prediction system can amplify symptoms

  • how sub-threshold training can help rebuild tolerance

  • how to find your symptom threshold using a simple 1-10 scale

  • how to use the 75-80% rule to progress week by week

A symptom spike does not always mean you are broken.

Sometimes it means your nervous system needs a smaller dose, a clearer signal and more repetition before the new path feels safe.

Why Your PCS Recovery Routine Needs Less, Not More | Ep. 2214 Oct 202600:10:57

If your PCS recovery routine keeps falling apart after a few days, this episode may help explain why.

In Episode 22 of The Post-Concussion Rebuild, I talk about why many people with post-concussion syndrome try to change everything at once, then crash when symptoms spike.

You get inspired. You add exercise, meditation, diet changes, supplements, breathwork and lifestyle changes all at once. For a few days, it feels like progress. Then your nervous system gets overloaded, symptoms increase and you end up back in the push, crash, rest and restart cycle.

This episode is about doing less, but doing it better.

Your nervous system does not usually respond well to extremes after concussion. It responds to consistency, safety and small repeatable wins.

Before a recovery habit can improve, it has to exist consistently.

In this episode, I cover:

  • why recovery habits often collapse after a few days

  • why doing too much too soon can keep you stuck

  • how the push, crash, rest and restart cycle develops

  • why your nervous system needs consistency more than intensity

  • how to find your symptom threshold

  • why exercise is not always the problem, tolerance is

  • how to work below your threshold and scale slowly

  • why simple habits can create safer progress over time

This is not about giving up.

It is about building smarter.

Small habits. Clear thresholds. Controlled progress. One step better each week.

Why Motivation Often Comes After Action in PCS Recovery | Ep. 2111 Oct 202600:13:11

Motivation comes and goes, especially when symptoms are unpredictable.

In Episode 21 of The Post-Concussion Rebuild, I talk about why waiting to feel motivated can keep you frozen when you are living with chronic PCS or still have post-concussion symptoms years later.

This episode is about why momentum matters more than motivation. When you take one small action, you reduce friction, rebuild identity and make the next good choice easier.

You do not need to overhaul your entire recovery overnight. You need a simple system that helps you start.

In this episode, I cover:

  • why motivation is often the result of action, not the starting point

  • how momentum can make good choices easier

  • why setbacks can feel less scary once momentum builds

  • why doing everything at once can make it harder to know what is working

  • how small consistent habits can begin changing your recovery identity

  • why momentum does not require intensity

  • a simple 3-step morning framework using the Maui Habit, breathwork and gratitude

If you have chronic PCS, post-concussion syndrome or still have concussion symptoms years later, this episode is for you.

You do not need to wait until you feel ready.

One small action can become the spark.

3 Morning Mantras to Kickstart Your PCS Recovery Routine | Ep. 2007 Oct 202600:09:51

If you wake up with brain fog, dizziness, fatigue or that “today is going to be hard” feeling, your nervous system may be starting the day in threat mode.

In Episode 20 of The Post-Concussion Rebuild, I share 3 morning mantras that can help calm your nervous system, reduce rumination and support your PCS recovery routine before symptoms take over.

After seven concussions, I learned that mornings can become a powerful rewire window. The way you begin your day can either reinforce fear and symptom scanning, or help your brain and body move toward safety, gratitude and action.

In this episode, I cover:

  • why mornings can become a rewire window for PCS recovery

  • how morning thoughts can shape your nervous system state

  • 3 prompts that can interrupt rumination

  • how gratitude can shift the threat loop

  • why “I am not my thoughts” can help you detach from symptoms

  • the 4-step method: breathe, mantra, ground, move

  • how to use this PCS recovery routine for 7 days and notice what changes

This is not about pretending symptoms are not there.

It is about starting your day with a stronger signal than fear.

Try the routine for 7 days. Keep it simple. Let repetition become evidence.

Why Your PCS Recovery Routine Matters More Than Your Goals | Ep. 1904 Oct 202600:14:37

Are your goals actually holding back your PCS recovery?

In Episode 19 of The Post-Concussion Rebuild, I talk about why recovery is not only about setting better goals. It is about building better systems.

After 7 concussions over 20 years, one of the biggest lessons I learned was that goals can give you direction, but systems create progress. When you are living with post-concussion syndrome, big goals can sometimes create pressure, urgency and disappointment, especially when symptoms flare or progress feels slow.

This episode is about building a simple, scalable PCS recovery routine that supports your nervous system, rebuilds identity and creates momentum one small habit at a time.

Inspired by James Clear’s Atomic Habits, I walk through the morning and nighttime system I used to start rebuilding my recovery from the ground up.

In this episode, I cover:

  • why goals can fail people with PCS

  • how goal pressure can make symptoms feel worse

  • why systems matter more than motivation

  • what a simple PCS recovery system can look like

  • the 3-step morning routine that changed everything for me

  • the Maui Habit and why it can reset your mindset quickly

  • how breathwork can help calm your nervous system

  • why identity change is the real engine of PCS recovery

  • how to scale your routine week by week without overwhelm

You do not need a perfect recovery plan.

You need a system you can repeat.

Systems win. Let’s build yours.

Your PCS Recovery Journey Starts Smaller Than You Think | Ep. 1830 Sep 202600:08:11

Your PCS recovery journey may not depend on the perfect supplement, protocol, treatment or breakthrough.

It may depend on what you are doing today.

In Episode 17 of The Post-Concussion Rebuild, I talk about why recovery has to start smaller than most people think.

When you are living with post-concussion syndrome, it is easy to chase the magic fix. You want your old energy back. You want mental clarity. You want patience, confidence and your life back. That vision matters. But the mistake many people make is trying to leap from where they are to where they want to be.

That is where crashes happen.

After seven concussions over 20 years, I learned that recovery is not about forcing your nervous system to become someone new overnight. It is about showing your brain, day by day, that this new version of you is safe.

In this episode, I cover:

  • why the magic bullet approach can keep people stuck

  • why big recovery expectations can backfire

  • how small steps build momentum and belief

  • why symptoms can be alarms, not proof you are broken

  • how to connect your future identity with your daily recovery actions

  • why your big vision is your why, but your small steps are your how

Recovery does not usually come from one massive leap.

It comes from the small, repeatable actions that teach your brain and nervous system a new path forward.

How One Small Promise Can Rebuild PCS Self-Trust | Ep. 1727 Sep 202600:10:00

Are you still dealing with post-concussion syndrome and feeling overwhelmed by everything you think you need to fix?

In Episode 18 of The Post-Concussion Rebuild, I talk about why recovery often starts with one small promise you can keep today.

When you still have post-concussion syndrome, it is easy to look at your whole life and feel like you need to repair everything at once: sleep, symptoms, exercise tolerance, stress, food, mindset, routines, work, relationships and identity.

But trying to fix your entire recovery at once can keep you stuck.

This episode is about simplifying the path forward. Not a perfect routine. Not a massive plan. Not a complete life overhaul. Just one promise you keep to yourself today.

In this episode, I cover:

  • why trying to fix your whole recovery can slow you down

  • why people with PCS often lose trust in their body

  • why knowing what to do is not the same as applying it

  • why habits do not need to be complicated

  • how small promises rebuild identity

  • why lifestyle changes work best when they start small

  • how one gratitude sticky helped change my recovery

  • why consistency matters more than intensity

  • how to choose one promise for the next 7 days

If you have post-concussion syndrome years later, chronic PCS or still have ongoing concussion symptoms, this episode is for you.

Your recovery does not need to begin with a giant plan.

It can begin with one action you can actually repeat.

Keep one promise to yourself today.

The Symptom-Checking Habit Keeping Chronic PCS Stuck | Ep. 1623 Sep 202600:14:07

If you are still dealing with post-concussion syndrome years later, this episode may help explain why your symptoms feel so loud.

In Episode 16 of The Post-Concussion Rebuild, I talk about one hidden habit that can keep your brain stuck in recovery: constantly checking, scanning and monitoring symptoms.

When you keep asking, “How do I feel today?” your brain starts looking for evidence that something is wrong. Over time, symptom checking can train your nervous system to stay hypervigilant, making symptoms feel stronger and harder to ignore.

This episode is not about pretending symptoms are not real. It is about understanding how attention, fear and repetition can keep the brain locked onto them.

In this episode, I cover:

  • why monitoring symptoms can make them feel louder

  • how the reticular activating system filters what your brain notices

  • why symptom checking can reinforce hypervigilance

  • how neural pathways can deepen when you avoid life

  • why thinking about symptoms all day can make recovery feel harder

  • the temper tantrum analogy and what it means for PCS recovery

  • the mindset shift that helped me start living again

Your symptoms may be real, but they do not need to be the centre of your identity, your attention or your future.

The goal is not to fight your symptoms all day.

The goal is to slowly teach your brain that life is safe enough to re-enter.

How Chronic PCS Steals Your Joy — And How to Get It Back | Ep. 1520 Sep 202600:09:41

Do the things you used to love suddenly feel flat?

Maybe you still do them, but they do not feel the same. The excitement is gone. Your motivation has disappeared. And after living with PCS for months or years, you may have even started wondering, “What happened to me?”

In Episode 15 of The Post-Concussion Resilience Podcast, I talk about one of the strangest parts of my own PCS recovery: losing interest in things that used to make me feel alive.

After seven concussions over 20 years, I learned that persistent PCS can do more than create physical symptoms. When your world becomes smaller, your nervous system becomes more protective, and your life begins revolving around symptoms and recovery, the things you once enjoyed can start to feel strangely distant.

But that does not necessarily mean those parts of you are gone.

I think of it more like a dimmer switch than an on/off switch.

When your system has spent a long time protecting you, you may need to slowly begin giving it experiences of living again rather than waiting until you completely feel like your old self.

In this episode, I explain why PCS can make life feel flat, what happened to my own interests and motivation during recovery, and why rebuilding your life may begin with small doses of the things that once mattered to you.

You do not have to force yourself back into your old life overnight.

Start small.

Give your brain evidence that these parts of life can still be safe, meaningful and enjoyable.

Then slowly turn the dimmer switch back up.

How PCS Can Become Part of Your Identity | Ep. 1417 Sep 202600:08:01

If you feel stuck in your PCS recovery routine, this episode may help you understand why.

In Episode 14 of The Post-Concussion Rebuild, I talk about one of the most subtle traps in post-concussion recovery: turning PCS into your identity.

When symptoms become the centre of your attention, it can be easy to start seeing yourself as someone who is broken, limited or always struggling. Over time, that identity can make recovery feel harder, heavier and more out of reach.

This episode is not about ignoring symptoms. It is about learning how to relate to them differently.

In this episode, I cover:

  • why focusing on symptoms can make recovery harder

  • how PCS can quietly become part of your identity

  • how to shift from “struggling with PCS” to “recovering from PCS”

  • a simple daily exercise to help you take control back

  • why nature and external focus can reduce symptom intensity

  • how external meditation can help move attention away from constant symptom scanning

  • why changing how you think can change how you recover

This is not about doing more. It is about thinking differently, shifting your attention and rebuilding an identity that is bigger than your symptoms.

The PCS Recovery Paradox: Patience With Time, Urgency With Action | Ep. 1313 Sep 202600:17:42

Are you stuck in chronic PCS and waiting to feel better before you start taking action?

In Episode 13 of The Post-Concussion Rebuild, I talk about one of the biggest traps in post-concussion syndrome recovery: waiting for the perfect day to begin.

You tell yourself you will start when the brain fog clears, when the dizziness is gone, when your energy comes back, when symptoms calm down or when life gets less chaotic.

But with chronic PCS, waiting to feel ready can keep you stuck.

The recovery principle that changed everything for me was this:

Patience with your timeline. Immediacy with your actions.

After 7 concussions over 20 years and two long battles with post-concussion syndrome, I learned that slow recovery does not mean no recovery. But no action almost always means no momentum.

In this episode, I cover:

  • why chronic PCS recovery requires both patience and urgency

  • why doing too much too soon can overload your system

  • why waiting to feel ready keeps people stuck

  • why understanding recovery is not the same as applying it

  • how symptoms can become part of your brain’s prediction pattern

  • why movement often comes before motivation

  • how to start with one small action today

  • how to visualize your ideal recovery state and connect it to action

You do not need to recover overnight. You do not need to force your body. You do not need to do everything at once.

But you do need to start.

One small action. Today.

How Small Wins Rebuild Hope in Concussion Recovery | Ep. 1209 Sep 202600:09:24

If you are struggling to believe you will ever feel like yourself again, this episode is about how small, consistent actions can help rebuild energy, confidence and hope one day at a time.

In Episode 12 of The Post-Concussion Rebuild, I share the concussion recovery routine that helped bring my hope back after seven concussions over 20 years.

One of the biggest lessons I learned is that belief does not always come before progress. Sometimes belief grows because of progress. When you stack small wins, track what is improving and give your nervous system repeated safety signals, you begin to create evidence that recovery is possible.

In this episode, I cover:

  • why belief often comes after action

  • how small wins can rebuild hope and confidence

  • how to create a simple daily recovery routine

  • why nervous system resets matter in concussion recovery

  • how breathwork and mindset shifts can support regulation

  • why tracking symptoms can help you see progress more clearly

  • how to turn small victories into lasting change

This is the foundation of every concussion recovery routine: not waiting for hope to magically appear, but building it through repeatable actions your brain and body can trust.

Taking Ownership Without Self-Blame in PCS Recovery | Ep. 1106 Sep 202600:17:13

This might be one of the hardest truths in PCS recovery, but it might also be the thing that finally helps you move forward.

In Episode 11 of The Post-Concussion Rebuild, I talk about the turning point that changed my recovery after 7 concussions over 20 years: learning to take responsibility for my own healing.

For years, I searched for the magic fix. The right specialist. The right supplement. The right protocol. And for years, I stayed stuck.

What changed was not blame. It was ownership.

This episode is about radical responsibility, not self-criticism. It is about understanding that even when you did not choose your injury, you can still influence the direction of your recovery through small, repeated actions.

In this episode, I cover:

  • why passively watching and listening can keep you stuck

  • the difference between being a victim of circumstance and the owner of your recovery

  • why radical responsibility is not self-blame

  • what neuroplasticity can mean for people with persistent post-concussion symptoms

  • how to start taking responsibility without overwhelming your nervous system

  • why small actions can compound into a new identity

  • why I believe I am a better person today than I was before my first concussion

This is not about pretending PCS is easy. It is not about denying symptoms. It is about taking back the power you still have and using it to change the trajectory of your recovery.

How I Broke Through the Post-Concussion Syndrome Plateau | Ep. 1002 Sep 202600:09:10

If you are dealing with post-concussion syndrome and your recovery has hit a wall, this episode will help you understand why you may have plateaued and what you can do to start moving forward again.

In Episode 10 of The Post-Concussion Rebuild, I share the strategies that helped me break through months of stalled progress after seven concussions and years of persistent symptoms.

One of the biggest lessons I learned is that recovery is not always about doing more. It is about doing the right things in the right order.

In this episode, I cover:

  • why PCS recovery plateaus are normal, expected and changeable

  • why searching for one big fix can keep you stuck

  • how small daily changes can create real neurological progress

  • what sub-threshold exposure means and why it matters

  • how simple breathwork can support nervous system regulation

  • why tiny wins create safety signals for the brain

  • how the P.A.C.E. method can help you regulate symptoms and rebuild momentum

Post-concussion syndrome can feel unpredictable, overwhelming and discouraging, especially when you are doing “all the right things” but nothing seems to change.

But a plateau does not mean you are broken. It means your system may need a clearer path, a safer dose and a better rhythm.

Become the Architect of Your Chronic PCS Recovery | Ep. 930 Aug 202600:13:42

Are you still waiting for your old life to come back?

In Episode 9 of The Post-Concussion Rebuild, I talk about one of the hardest identity shifts in chronic PCS recovery: letting go of the version of yourself you keep trying to return to and becoming the architect of who you are building next.

After 7 concussions over 20 years, I learned that waiting for my old life to come back was keeping me tied to the same identity, the same fear and the same survival patterns.

This episode is not about pretending grief is easy. It is about learning how to build on bedrock instead of swampland, with a recovery blueprint that can actually support the life you want next.

In this episode, I cover:

  • why grieving your past self can keep old recovery patterns alive

  • the bedrock vs swampland foundation

  • how the brain uses prediction to keep you tied to a symptom identity

  • the architect vs builder framework for PCS recovery

  • why having a plan changes how you move through setbacks

  • the T-chart identity exercise you can use today

  • how stacking lifestyle modifications builds a stronger recovery foundation

  • why I believe I am a better person today than I was before my first concussion

Recovery is not about becoming who you used to be. It is about becoming the strongest, clearest, most grounded version of who you are still capable of becoming.

The PCS Recovery Routine I’d Follow If I Had to Start Over | Ep. 826 Aug 202600:13:11

If I had to start my PCS recovery over again, I would not begin by chasing the perfect supplement, protocol or specialist.

I would begin by removing urgency, stabilizing my nervous system and building momentum through small, repeatable wins.

In Episode 8 of The Post-Concussion Rebuild, I share the PCS recovery routine I would follow if I had to start over after seven concussions and 20 years of post-concussion recovery.

This episode is for anyone living with post-concussion syndrome, chronic PCS or ongoing concussion symptoms who feels overwhelmed, stuck or unsure where to begin.

In this episode, I cover:

  • why urgency can keep your nervous system stuck in survival mode

  • why real recovery does not usually come from one perfect protocol

  • how to begin stabilizing your nervous system

  • why small daily actions matter more than massive overhauls

  • how repeatable wins rebuild belief and self-trust

  • why your brain is not broken, it is learning

  • the simple foundation I would return to if I had to start again

Recovery is not built by doing everything at once. It is built by repeating the right small steps until your brain and nervous system begin to trust the path forward.

Using Visualization to Rewire Your Brain During Chronic PCS | Ep. 723 Aug 202600:15:28

What if the reason you still feel stuck in chronic PCS is not only your symptoms, but the future your brain keeps rehearsing?

In Episode 7 of The Post-Concussion Rebuild, I break down one of the most powerful principles I learned after 7 concussions over 20 years: everything is created twice. First in the mind, then in reality.

Until your brain has rehearsed a recovered future in vivid detail, it may keep pulling you back to the identity it knows: symptoms, limitations and survival mode.

This episode is about using mental rehearsal, visualization and identity-based recovery to help your brain and nervous system begin moving toward a different future.

In this episode, I cover:

  • why your brain is never neutral

  • how PCS can shrink your future and reinforce fear

  • the identity thermostat concept and why progress can snap back

  • how mental rehearsal can support new neural pathways

  • the snowfield analogy and why a clear path saves PCS energy

  • how to rehearse your future with enough detail to make it feel familiar

  • a simple 5-10 minute morning visualization practice

You cannot walk down a path your mind has never seen. This episode helps you begin to see it, rehearse it and walk toward it.

Why Repetition Matters in Concussion Recovery | Ep. 619 Aug 202600:09:34

If you are struggling with post-concussion symptoms, your recovery might not need more effort. It might need the right routine.

In Episode 6 of The Post-Concussion Rebuild, I break down a simple concussion recovery routine designed to help retrain your brain, regulate your nervous system and build real, lasting progress.

Your brain does not change based on what you want. It changes based on what you repeat.

That is why this episode focuses on daily habits, small wins and consistency over intensity. If you are dealing with post-concussion syndrome, chronic PCS or ongoing concussion symptoms, this is where you start.

In this episode, I cover:

  • why you are always training your brain, even when you do not realize it

  • why the brain adapts through repetition

  • the biggest mistake people make in concussion recovery

  • why more effort is not always the answer

  • how a simple routine can support recovery

  • why small wins matter more than huge overhauls

  • how consistency helps rebuild belief and self-trust

Recovery does not usually change through one heroic push. It changes through what you repeat until your brain and nervous system begin to believe something new is possible.

The Future Self Practice That Changed My Chronic PCS Recovery | Ep. 516 Aug 202600:17:20

If you can envision a future version of yourself fully recovered, that vision can become the engine that pulls you through the hardest days of chronic PCS.

In Episode 5 of The Post-Concussion Rebuild, I talk about one of the most powerful tools I discovered after 7 concussions over 20 years: learning to “remember the future,” a concept from Dr. Joe Dispenza that changed the trajectory of my recovery.

This episode is about using visualization, future casting and identity-based practice to help your brain and nervous system begin to believe in the person you are rebuilding into.

In this episode, I cover:

  • why vivid imagination can influence the brain and nervous system

  • how I used visualization to move from 2 stairs to 14 with no symptoms

  • the “remember the future” concept that helped kickstart my recovery

  • why hope alone may not be enough

  • how “I am” statements can support identity change

  • how to negotiate the price of recovery before symptoms derail you

  • the morning and evening visualization practice I still use today

Your future self is not built by waiting until symptoms disappear. Your future self is built through repeated thoughts, actions and choices that teach your brain a new direction.

How to Start PCS Recovery Before You Feel Ready | Ep. 413 Aug 202600:07:51

You will never feel ready to start your PCS recovery journey.

When you have been struggling with post-concussion symptoms for months or years, it is easy to wait for the perfect day. You tell yourself you will start when your energy improves, your brain fog lifts, your motivation returns or your symptoms calm down.

But waiting to feel ready can become part of the trap.

In Episode 4 of The Post-Concussion Rebuild, I talk about why your brain and nervous system often prefer familiar patterns, even when those patterns are keeping you stuck. New habits can feel uncomfortable at first. Symptoms may fluctuate. Confidence may feel low. That does not automatically mean you are moving in the wrong direction.

In this episode, I cover:

  • why waiting for motivation can stall your PCS recovery journey

  • how your brain can mistake familiar routines for safety

  • why symptoms may increase when you introduce change

  • how to close the gap between your current identity and the person you want to become

  • why motivation and confidence are skills you can rebuild

  • why starting small matters

  • my simple rule: never miss two days in a row

  • how future casting can help you focus on where you are going

You do not need to overhaul your entire life today.

Start with one habit. Make it manageable. Repeat it consistently. Let small actions rebuild belief.

Your PCS recovery journey does not begin when you finally feel ready. It begins when you start anyway.

Finding Your Why in Chronic PCS Recovery | Ep. 309 Aug 202600:18:31

When your why is weak, symptoms become stop signs. When your why is strong, those same symptoms become information.

In Episode 3 of The Post-Concussion Rebuild, I talk about why your reason for recovery has to come before obsessing over the next supplement, protocol, therapy, or treatment.

After 7 concussions over 20 years, one of the most important lessons I learned was this: you need a reason to recover powerful enough to pull you through the hard days.

If you have been stuck in chronic PCS, trying everything and seeing minimal progress, this episode is where the deeper work begins.

In this episode, I cover:

  • why a weak why can make you quit every new protocol
  • the difference between inspiration and desperation as recovery fuel
  • my rock bottom moment and how it changed my recovery
  • why external motivation can matter in PCS recovery
  • how visualization can help make recovery feel safer
  • the morning and evening practice I used to rehearse my why daily

This is not about forcing recovery through willpower. It is about finding the reason strong enough to help you keep showing up.

7 Concussions, 20 Years, and the Moment That Forced Me to Rebuild | Ep. 206 Aug 202600:15:05

This is the most personal episode I have recorded.

In Episode 2 of The Post-Concussion Rebuild, I share my raw PCS recovery journey: 7 concussions over 20 years, the symptoms that slowly took over my life, the moment everything collapsed, and the fear that finally forced me to change.

This episode is not just about my story. It is about why I care so deeply about helping people with persistent post-concussion symptoms find a better way forward.

I talk about what chronic PCS did to my energy, mood, sleep, confidence, and identity. I also share how the combination of multiple concussions and losing my dad to a brain tumor at 43 became part of the reason I decided to rebuild my life instead of staying stuck in fear.

In this episode, I cover:

  • what 7 concussions did to my brain, body, and life

  • the breaking point that forced me to change

  • why ignored injuries can compound over time

  • how I started rebuilding my recovery systems

  • how fear and desperation became fuel for purpose

  • why having a clear reason matters in recovery

  • the early steps that helped me move forward

My goal is to help you avoid the years of confusion, fear, and suffering that I went through. You are not alone. There is a path forward. And your story is not finished.

How Chronic PCS Steals Belief and How to Rebuild It | Ep. 102 Aug 202600:15:55

If I could give you one gift to kickstart your post-concussion recovery, it would not be a supplement, a protocol, or another specialist. It would be belief.

After 7 concussions over 20 years and two separate bouts of post-concussion syndrome, the darkest parts of my recovery were not only about symptoms. They were about losing faith that my body could ever heal.

In Episode 1 of The Post-Concussion Rebuild, I’m starting with belief because nothing else works without this foundation.

In this episode, I cover:

  • why belief is one of the most powerful recovery tools in chronic PCS
  • how the medical model can unintentionally damage hope
  • why being information-rich but transformation-poor keeps people stuck
  • how belief can raise the ceiling of your recovery
  • why symptoms are better understood as puzzles, not problems
  • two things you can do today to begin rebuilding belief
