The boys start things off with a clip of the Kitchen Dwellers’ cover of STS9’s Breathe In from their recent show at Terminal 5 in Atlanta on November 8th, 2024. After talking a little bluegrass, they enter the STS9 Fox Theater time capsule in preparation for the band’s upcoming shows in Oakland on November 15th and 16th. They feature clips of some of their favorite moments from STS9’s performances at the historic venue dating back to 2012. This week the boys kick off the first installment of the Artist Spotlight Series with Chicago native, multi-disciplined artist Brandon Perl. Together, the 3 of them start by unpacking the show's logos crafted by Bperl himself. Brandon then helps Nate and Scotty breakdown some clips from his first show. BPerl talks early childhood roots of his art, being an art teacher, the state of the STS9 sticker game, and the role STS9 plays in his creative process. The boys are back after Thanksgiving to put a spotlight on one of the best cities in the country to see STS9: Asheville, NC. The clips are hot this week as Scotty and Nate dig thru everything from 04 Murph shows to a little known pro-shot axed wedding set. After that, Nate shares some stats about the devastating Hurricane Helene, as well as a good charity to support the people affected in Western Carolina.
