Tim – Spectrum Next KS3 update email has gone out for backers to update their contact details and addresses ready for delivery. Looks like the KS3 is getting ready for shipping real soon.
Tim – Vectrex Mini – Delayed! - The ESP32-P4 module at the heart of the Vectrex Mini motherboard has been discontinued. This means a new version is not being released until October, holding up final production boards. However, the delay will be mitigated by a new design to include the processor, and the components responsible for functions including Bluetooth and Wi-Fi will be integrated directly onto our own motherboard. Shipping should start in December 2026.

Tim – Space Pizza! - New ZX Spectrum Next game is in development by Gary Pinkett who we know as my good friend Gary. The game started off as a simple thrust style game but has been developed very much with another game in mind, Space Taxi. The game takes place on different mazes in caves where you fly your ship around the cave to deliver a set number of pizzas to the waiting miners on each pad. Developments are coming thick and fast, including transporters to take you to different parts of the caves, time attack mode, high score and for online Next’s your scores will be published in leaderboards. Lots more to come on this one and Cody, Eric and Tim will be testing this game as it moves along in development over the coming months. A more in-depth take is being covered on this month's TTWT as I chat with Gary about developing the game.

Tim - New Amiga emulator called Copperline is out in beta format – Andrew ‘Linux Jedi’ Hutchings is creating from scratch a new Amiga emulator for Linux that aims to be timing sensitive emulator that models the hardware for running heavy load Amiga titles like Demos and advanced games.

Tim – From Modretro the makers of the M64 comes the M64 AV Adapter. Designed for the HDMI output on the M64 that would allow you to plug the HDMI from the M64 into this adapter and then output to CRTs via the connections on the AV Adapter. Not confirmed yet, but this could likely work with any HDMI input and output to common CRT connection formats. (Thanks to Retro RBG)
Tim – Super MarioLand GB reimagined - What if Super Mario Land came out much later, when the devs had more experience with the Game Boy hardware, what if it looked more like SML2? In this re-de-make-imagining you can play the first level to imagine a world where that scenario is a reality (if only a little!)
Tim – Little fun Mario based shooter for the SMS – Goomba Invaders. The Goomba's have had enough of being stomped on, this time they are Invading, and nothing will stop them. You play as the BROS, your mission is to blast these Invaders back to wherever they came from. Luckily, you have an unlimited amount of ammo.
