We cover:

🧬 What is Epithalon?

– A four amino acid synthetic peptide made of alanine, glutamate, aspartate, and glycine

– One of Dr. Khavinson's Soviet bioregulators developed in the 1970s military research program

– Works directly on the pineal gland, the pea-sized gland in your brain that regulates sleep and hormones

– In 2026, an FDA advisory committee voted 7 to 4 to recommend adding it to the approved compound list (advisory only, not yet policy)

– Cannot be patented because it is a naturally occurring compound, so there is no financial incentive for big pharma to fund large trials

🔬 What Epithalon does

– Telomere lengthening: Dr. Khavinson's studies showed it extends the telomere caps on your chromosomes, theoretically slowing cellular aging. Animal models showed extended lifespan

– Sleep and circadian rhythm reset: deepens sleep, reduces nighttime waking, helps reset disrupted sleep cycles. One of the top reasons people run it

– Immune resilience: lowers free radical damage systemically, especially helpful for overtrained athletes and chronically stressed people

⚠️ What to avoid with Epithalon

– Alcohol

– High-dose melatonin (it can replace melatonin, do not stack them)

– Extra sedatives while running it for sleep

– Theoretical caution with active cancer due to pineal gland's role in cell regulation (not proven, just noted)

– Not WADA banned but classified as a non-approved substance for tested athletes

🛡️ What is Glutathione?

– Discovered in 1888, actively used in Italy to treat Parkinson's after independent human trials

– Your body's master antioxidant and the most important detox compound available

– Scavenges free radicals, recycles vitamins C and E so they keep working, and escorts toxins out of the body

🔬 What Glutathione actually does

– Liver detox and protection: number one clinical use in Western medicine, especially post-alcohol and for fatty liver support

– Parkinson's and neuroprotection: proven in human trials to protect nerves from chemotherapy damage

– Immune support and long COVID recovery: being used in post-viral fatigue and long COVID protocols

– Skin lightening: the number one global use. High doses will make you pale. Low doses for wellness will not

1:01:12 – Q&A: CJC/Ipa Reactions & the Ideal Longevity Stack

We cover:

• Can You Trust a COA Is From the Right Batch?: Why there's no perfect answer, why cost and transparency are the best vetting tools, and why good companies test the same batch multiple times

• HGH vs Tesamorelin —The Long Game: Why Tesamorelin still retains its visceral fat-burning properties even alongside HGH, why secretagogues are redundant on HGH, and why five-plus years is the real timeline

• HGH Causing Seborrheic Dermatitis: Why elevated IGF-1 increases sebaceous gland activity, why switching to a secretagog may reduce but not eliminate the issue, and when dropping HGH altogether is the right call

• SIBO and Candida Protocol: Why oral BPC and KPV are the foundation, the role of fasting and carnivore in starving off gut overgrowth, and why Dr. Scott and holistic practitioners are the right people to guide this

• Peptides for Eye Health After Statin Damage: Why SS-31 is the most promising compound with clinical trials behind it, and why BPC, TB-500, Epithalon, and Visalutin are also worth researching

• 8% Body Fat Firefighter Overtraining: Why one or two rest days accelerate results, why sleep and stress management outrank adding compounds, and why fasting is JD's top lean-out tool for men

Peptide of the Week: What's Really in Your Beef With Tim Elkins21 Sep 202600:57:41

Medical Disclaimer: We are not doctors. The content in this video is for educational and informational purposes only and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Any compounds discussed may be intended for research purposes only. Use at your own risk.

Welcome back, warriors! In this episode of Peptide of the Week, JD Denham and William T. Haas sit down with Tim Elkins, JD's first mentor in business and now owner of Elkins Cattle Co., one of Texas's largest cattle operations spanning 40 to 50 thousand acres. This one is not about peptides. It is about what is actually in your food and why it matters just as much.

Chapters:

00:00 – Intro

00:13 – Meeting Tim Elkins

01:36 – Tim's Background: Finance to Cattle Ranching

07:53 – The Time Management Lesson That Changed JD's Career

10:35 – Cattle Ranch to Table: How the Industry Really Works

12:23 – The "Big Four" Monopoly Explained

14:24 – Why Elkins Cattle Co Refuses to Cut Corners

18:46 – The Truth About Foreign Beef

21:00 – Why Ribeye Prices Doubled & Who Profits

25:03 – Grocery Store Ground Beef: What's Really In It

29:44 – What's Legal But Should Shock You

34:29 – How to Tell a Cheated Steak From a Real One

39:10 – The Truth About "Wagyu" Labels at Costco

42:47 – Grass-Fed vs. Grain-Finished Explained

47:26 – Inside a Feedlot: How They Track Every Animal

54:08 – How Buying Local Can Starve Out the Big Four & Outro

We cover:

🐄 How beef actually gets to your table

– 90% of American beef passes through just four companies: JBS, Cargill, Tyson, and National Beef

– These four have a stranglehold monopoly on the entire industry and prioritize speed and profit over quality

– 70% of beef consumed in America is foreign beef. Most people have no idea

– Animals are often slaughtered at under 12 months old or as old non-producing cows to cut costs

– Horse meat in fast food chains: confirmed. And it is more widespread than just Taco Bell

🚫 What store-bought beef actually contains

– Hormones, antibiotics, mRNA vaccines, and artificial additives are standard practice in commercial beef production

– Wagyu labeling loophole: a product only needs 0.001% wagyu genetics to legally use the wagyu label. That ribeye at Costco is not what you think it is

– "Grass-fed" on a label means almost nothing. Every cow has eaten at least one piece of grass. The label has no meaningful standard

– Pink slime in ground beef is real and it comes from reputable-looking places, not just fast food

– Veal in most restaurants is almost certainly a calf that died in transit or in a pen, not one that was intentionally raised for that purpose

🥩 What Elkins Cattle Co. does differently

– Zero hormones, zero antibiotics, zero mRNA vaccines, zero shortcuts

– All animals are 30 months old at slaughter, not 12 months

– 40 to 50 thousand acres across Texas, nearly 9,000 head of cattle

– Consumer direct: order by Monday, ships frozen to your door by Tuesday

– Retina scanning technology tags every animal daily, tracking food intake, water, health markers, and time spent laying down. Red X spray marks any animal that needs attention that morning

– Grass-fed AND grass-finished: fed four specific grasses including coastal Bermuda, Klein, native grasses, and winter oats to mimic the intramuscular fat quality of grain-finished beef without any GMO grain inputs

– Animal welfare is non-negotiable: a stressed, unhappy cow does not gain weight properly and the difference shows up in the meat

We cover:

• Warrior Maker Wellness Center is Coming: Hyperbaric chambers, red light, and longevity services dropping in downtown Huntington Beach and Warrior Makers supplements by Christmas

• 8% Body Fat Firefighter Overtraining: Why a rest day is when you actually build muscle, why sleep and stress management matter more than adding compounds, and why fasting is JD's top add for lean men

• MOTS-C Personal Experience When It Works and When It Doesn't: Why some people feel nothing on MOTS-C and why blood work and stool testing reveal more than any peptide response

• FOXO4-DRI vs Fasting for Autophagy: Why JD prefers fasting over FOXO4 for senescent cell clearance, why a 72-hour fast quarterly may be the most powerful longevity tool available, and why Epithalon pairs perfectly with a four-week break

• Fasting for Women Is Different: Nora's case for eating to your circadian rhythm, why skipping breakfast triggers thyroid issues in perimenopausal women, and why front-loading protein and calories changes everything

• 47-Year-Old Female First Cycle Break Protocol: Why Epithalon for 10-20 days plus high-dose SS-31 is the ideal four-week reset, and why staying on glutathione through the break makes sense

• Fatigue on R in Women: Why under-fueling is almost always the culprit, why MOTS-C was a game changer for Mike on R, and why glycine and magnesium glycinate are non-negotiable for sleep

• Longevity Stack for Post-Menopausal Women at 55: Why HGH is the unanimous answer, why blood work including A1C and fasting insulin must come first, and why it targets belly fat specifically

• R Maintenance vs Cycling Off at Goal Weight: Why 1 meg every five days is Mike's sweet spot, why JD believes building discipline off the compound matters just as much, and why both approaches are valid

Welcome back, warriors! In this episode of Peptide of the Week, JD Denham and William T. Haas sit down with Liz Roman, owner of FitMom Functional Health, certified functional practitioner, co-host of The Health Revival Show, and the self-proclaimed (and trademarked) Poop Queen. If your gut is jacked, this episode is for you.

Chapters:

00:00 – Intro & Meeting Liz "The Poop Queen"

01:51 – Why Everyone's Gut Is Struggling Today

07:09 – The Foundation: Diet, Hormones & Stress Come First

08:59 – JD's Gut Story & Where to Start Healing

13:13 – Stomach Acid: The Missing Domino

15:39 – Order of Operations: Parasites, Detox & Ivermectin

19:40 – Rapid Fire: What Should Poop Look Like?

21:28 – Prebiotics vs. Probiotics vs. Postbiotics Explained

26:39 – Junk Products & Peptide Scams to Avoid

30:59 – Daily Habits: Eating & Bathroom Hygiene

35:27 – Fasting & Protein Timing for Women

40:11 – Decoding Chronic Bloating

43:10 – Liz's Personal Health Journey

46:57 – SIBO, Candida & the Real Role of Antibiotics

52:07 – Liz's Favorite Peptides & Daily Supplement Stack

We cover:

🦠 Why everyone's gut is a mess

– Chronic stress, poor diet, COVID spike proteins, nutritional deficiencies, and environmental toxins are all converging at once

– Spike proteins attach to mast cell receptors throughout the gut microbiome and cardiovascular system, shifting how the immune system behaves

– Magnesium, B vitamins, and vitamin D deficiencies accelerated post-2020 and are still largely unaddressed

– You will never out-supplement, out-peptide, or out-hormone a bad diet and poor stress management. Period.

🧬 The north-to-south digestion process

– Stomach acid is the first domino. When it is low (from stress, aging, NSAIDs, medications, or past substance use), nothing downstream works properly

– Stomach acid must be robust enough to emulsify protein into amino acids AND kill incoming parasites, pathogens, viruses, and bacteria

– Always take betaine HCL in capsule form, never powder, the capsule protects it from being neutralized before it reaches the stomach

– Low stomach acid fails to signal the pancreas, which then fails to release digestive enzymes, which then fails to signal the liver and gallbladder to release bile

🫐 Bile is the missing link nobody talks about

– Bile is your internal built-in antimicrobial, circulating through the small intestine 15 to 17 times per meal

– It is your body's natural defense against SIBO. When bile flow is compromised, bacteria overgrow where they should not be

– The liver-gut axis is real, anatomically proven, and almost entirely ignored by conventional medicine

– Supporting bile flow with things like TUDCA is essential, especially on GLP-1s and high-fat diets

🦠 SIBO, Candida, parasites, and the carnivore trap

– Restrictive diets like carnivore can clear symptoms short term but also deprive gut bacteria of the fibers, polyphenols, and prebiotics they need to thrive

– Parasite cleanses need to be a minimum of 45 to 60 days, not 7-day moon cycles. The parasite lifecycle is 45 to 60 days from egg to adult

– Antibiotics take 6 months to 2 years to recover from after just one round. If you must take them, support the gut simultaneously

Peptide Q&A #58 – Shelf Life, Drug Test, HGH vs IGF-1 LR3 & Carnivore Diet10 Sep 202600:58:21

Medical Disclaimer: We are not doctors. The content in this video is for educational and informational purposes only and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Any compounds discussed may be intended for research purposes only. Use at your own risk.

Welcome back, warriors! In this week's Peptide Q&A, JD Denham and William T. Haas cover building muscle at 13.5% body fat, running carnivore diet on "R", St. John's Wort interactions, peptides for a marathon at 53, the mitochondrial stack sequenced properly, and whether IGF-1 LR3 and HGH can be run together.

Chapters:

00:00 – Intro & Holiday Weekend Recap

00:39 – Shark Stories & Ocean Safety Talk

07:35 – School, Coaching & Warrior Maker Updates

08:18 – Q&A: Muscle Gain & a Shredded Stomach (Age 43)

15:11 – Q&A: R & Fat Digestion on Carnivore

20:59 – Q&A: St. John's Wort & Peptide Interactions

24:39 – Q&A: KPV for Connective Tissue Disease

27:42 – Q&A: Low Energy on Tirzepatide & AOD (Age 38)

36:05 – Q&A: How Long Do Unmixed Peptides Last?

38:36 – Q&A: Do Peptides Show Up on Drug Tests?

40:35 – Q&A: Stacking HGH, CJC/Ipa & IGF-1 LR3

47:36 – Q&A: Marathon Training Stack After Major Weight Loss

51:40 – Q&A: Sequencing Mitochondrial Peptides for Energy (Age 55)

56:53 – Outro & New Hyperbaric Chamber Announcement

We cover:

• Building Muscle at 13.5% Body Fat as a Woman: Why eating more not less is the answer, why AOD should come out, and why 5-Amino-1-MQ, SLU-PP-332, and Tesamorelin-Ipa are the right additions

• Carnivore Diet on "R" with Ulcerative Colitis: Why high fat plus slow gastric emptying causes the problem, why small frequent meals fix it, and why a little fiber and 50 grams of carbs around training goes a long way

• St. John's Wort & "R" Interactions: Why R is broken down by protein enzymes not the liver's CYP450 system, why St. John's Wort is notorious for drug interactions, and why milk thistle, TUDCA, and glutathione are better liver support

• Mixed Connective Tissue Disease & KPV: Why oral BPC and KPV are generally safe to add, and why coming off a biologic requires a knowledgeable doctor not a podcast

• Low Energy on Tirzepatide at 133 Pounds: Why under-eating protein is the most likely culprit, why tracking macros is more powerful than any peptide, and why NAD, SS-31, MOTS-C, and methylated B12 are the right energy stack

• Lyophilized Peptide Shelf Life The Real Answer: Why unmixed peptides last up to two years in a cool dark place, why freezing creates moisture risk, and why the crisper drawer in a small fridge is all you need

• Do Peptides Show Up on a 5-Panel Drug Test: Why no standard workplace panel tests for peptides and why only high-level professional sports testing would even attempt it

• HGH vs IGF-1 LR3 — Can You Stack Both: Why CJC-Ipa is redundant once you're on HGH, when combining HGH and IGF-1 LR3 adds benefit vs. risk, and why MK-677 may be the smarter muscle-building add-on

• Marathon Prep Stack at 53 Down 87 Pounds: Why Wolverine is non-negotiable at this age and mileage, why Cardarine and SLU-PP-332 are the endurance game changers, and why adding HGH now gives it time to work before December

• Mitochondrial Stack for a 55-Year-Old Working at 2:30 AM: Why SS-31 comes first for at least two weeks, when to layer in MOTS-C, why NAD timing doesn't matter, and why Dihexa, magnesium glycinate, and glycine round out the protocol

Peptide of the Week: ARA-290 & 5-Amino-1MQ – Nerve Pain & Fat Burning07 Sep 202600:43:10

Haas get back to basics and break down two compounds people have been asking about. ARA-290 for nerve pain and neuropathy, and 5-Amino-1MQ for fat burning and metabolic optimization. Two very different compounds with very different objectives.

Chapters:

00:00 – Intro & Show Plugs

02:37 – New Podcast Format Announcement

03:28 – ARA-290: Redefining Nerve Pain & Repair

05:09 – Nerve Injury Stories: Sciatica & Back Surgery

08:03 – How ARA-290 Works: Macrophage Reprogramming

13:15 – Dosing Protocols & Cost

15:47 – Nerve Pain, Surgery & Long-Term Nerve Damage

17:39 – Tips: Timing, Sleep, Nutrition & Exercise

22:23 – Side Effects, Safety & What to Stack With

24:59 – Compound #2: 5-Amino-1MQ for Fat Burning

27:32 – Real User Results & Fat Loss Data

30:00 – Dosing: Oral vs. Injectable & Cycle Length

33:16 – Zone 2 Cardio & Maximizing Fat Burn

37:37 – Stacking with GLP-1s & Breaking Plateaus

40:49 – Outro, Feedback & Next Episode Preview

We cover:

🧠 ARA-290 — Nerve Repair and Neuropathic Pain

– First discovered and researched in the early 2000s, still experimental but with human trials

– Selectively binds to the Tissue Protective Receptor (TPR) on immune cells, nerve cells, and metabolic tissues

– Reprograms macrophages from pro-inflammatory to anti-inflammatory, actually healing the nerve instead of masking pain

– Used for small fiber neuropathy, sarcoidosis, autoimmune nerve conditions, diabetic neuropathy, and post-viral recovery including long COVID

– Unlike painkillers, effects continue AFTER you stop taking it because it is healing the nerve, not just covering the pain

Real-world reports:

– Burning pain dropped from a 7 out of 10 to a 2 out of 10 within 3 weeks in diabetic neuropathy patients

– Mood lift and mental calm reported within 4 days (not the main intention but consistently reported)

– Nerve fiber density measurably increases over days to weeks

– Effects often persist 3 to 6 months post-cycle

What to stack with:

– BPC-157 and TB-500, NAD+, alpha lipoic acid, methylcobalamin, and B vitamins

What to avoid:

– NSAIDs and corticosteroids will blunt the effects

– Alcohol, high sugar, ultra-processed food, and chronic sleep deprivation all work against nerve healing

🔥 5-Amino-1MQ — The Fat Burning Compound

– Not a peptide, technically a small molecule compound. First developed around 2014

– Blocks NNMT (Nicotinamide N-Methyltransferase), which is massively upregulated in obese fat tissue and actively drives fat storage

– Blocking NNMT shifts your metabolism to burn fat instead of store it, essentially injecting keto without the diet

– Also replenishes NAD+ levels that have been depleted with age

– In animal studies: obese mice lost 7 to 9% of fat with no loss of lean muscle while eating the same amount of food

– Adds an additional 7 to 9% fat loss on top of GLP-1 results because it works on a completely different pathway

Who it is for:

– Anyone on a GLP-1 who has plateaued, this will relight the fire

– People with insulin resistance or pre-diabetes, it increases insulin sensitivity

– Already lean people looking to get even leaner and enhance body composition

– People with metabolic syndrome or NAD+ depletion

Best stacks: GLP-1 (especially R), MOTS-C, NMN, NAD+, L-Carnitine, Alpha Lipoic Acid, CoQ10

Peptide of the Week: What's Really in Your Water – With Dani Carroll31 Aug 202601:30:58

Haas sit down with Dani Carroll, a holistic health coach with 17 years of experience, Ayurvedic specialist, and yoga teacher. This one is not about peptides. It is about the thing most of us completely overlook that could be undermining everything else we do. Water.

Chapters:

00:00 – Intro & Meeting Dani Carroll

01:05 – Dani's Autoimmune Story & Failed Treatments

07:00 – Discovering the Water That Changed Everything

11:11 – First Results: Brain Fog, Joint Pain & Skin

13:00 – Testing It on Her Skeptical Parents

17:56 – Why Isn't Anyone Talking About Water?

19:17 – The Truth About Tap & Bottled Water

25:44 – How Bottled Water Degrades in Transit

27:47 – RO & Distilled Water: The Mineral Problem

29:46 – Understanding pH & the Alkaline Water Scam

34:06 – JD's GERD & Gut Health Case Study

41:19 – Chlorine, Showers & Skin Absorption

50:04 – How the Machine's Settings & Hydrogen Water Work

1:14:04 – Checking Your Own Tap Water (EWG Database)

1:21:13 – Five Rules for Drinking Water & Outro

We cover:

💧 Dani's story

– Autoimmune disease surfaced at 16, misdiagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, full body joint pain and monthly skin peeling episodes

– Spent years going through every elimination diet, raw vegan, autoimmune paleo, nothing lasted beyond 90 days

– Gut microbiome destroyed by antibiotics prescribed by doctors who never addressed the root cause

– Discovered structured alkaline water during postpartum depression, within 45 days her skin stopped peeling for the first time in years

– 90 days in she was glowing. Her father lost weight, eliminated gout, and cleared acid reflux within months

🧬 Why water matters more than food

– You can survive 40 days without food. You die in 3 days without water. Yet nobody talks about water quality

– Tap water contains chlorine, fluoride, heavy metals, pharmaceuticals, forever chemicals, pesticides, and herbicides

– The chemicals in tap water are often added to protect aging city pipes, not to clean your water

– Water softeners add salt or potassium to protect your pipes, they are not designed to be consumed

– RO filtered water strips all minerals. Drinking it long term leaches minerals from your bones, causing bone density loss and eventually osteoporosis

– Plastic bottled water is dead water that sits in your stomach, does not absorb properly, and leaches microplastics

🚿 Your shower is a bigger problem than you think

– You absorb approximately one liter of water through your skin during a 10 to 15 minute hot shower

– Pores open in hot water, you inhale chlorine vapor, and your body absorbs it all

The 7 pH settings explained:

– 2.5 pH (hypochlorous acid): kills E. coli, MRSA, and bacteria. Use to sanitize meat, surfaces, and as mouthwash

– 11.5 pH (strong alkaline): veggie wash, makeup remover, skin treatment, poison ivy compress, eczema protocol. Neutralizes pesticides and herbicides which are designed to be water resistant

– 6.0 pH (beauty water): matches your skin and hair pH of 6.4. Use to wash your face and hair, works as a leave-in conditioner without stripping natural oils

– 7.0 pH (neutral): neutral rinse water for cooking and final food rinse

– 8.5, 9.0, 9.5 pH: drinking water levels depending on your health goals and tolerance

Welcome back, warriors! In this week's Peptide Q&A, JD Denham and William T. Haas cover why SS-31 has been a game changer for JD, how to properly sequence the mitochondrial stack, NAD reactions and replacements, when to come off R, building muscle at 12% body fat, fertility protocols while on TRT, and whether you really need to plan your protocols a year in advance.

Chapters:

00:00 – Intro & Personal Health Updates

03:06 – SS-31 & Finding the Right Protocol

06:04 – Disneyland Trip & Kids' Sports Talk

13:48 – Warrior Makers Coaching Program Launch

18:37 – School Platform Updates & Podcast Feedback

21:58 – Q&A: Sleep, Hormones & Energy for a Busy Mum

34:15 – Q&A: Major Weight Loss & a Bad NAD Reaction

39:07 – Q&A: Peptide Storage & Condensation

41:50 – Q&A: SS-31, MOTS-C & NAD Sequencing

49:31 – Q&A: Coming Off Retatrutide's Maintenance Dose

55:22 – Q&A: TRT & Fertility Protocols

1:08:14 – Q&A: Gut Health Flare-Up & Peptide Pause

1:14:53 – Q&A: Runner Wanting Muscle Over Fat Loss

1:21:14 – Q&A: Building a Smart Annual Peptide Plan

1:29:13 – Outro & Coaching Call Details

We cover:

• Why JD Is Feeling the Best He Has in Years: Why higher-dose SS-31 gets the credit, why less compounds often means feeling better, and why starting with two compounds and adding slowly is the smarter approach

• NAD Allergy What to Do Instead: Why reactions to NAD may come from the compound itself not just contamination, why SS-31 at five-plus megs is the closest alternative, and why blood work and hormone optimization should come first at 35

• Peptide Storage and Condensation on Vials: Why condensation on the outside of a vial does not mean moisture got inside, and why a dedicated mini fridge beats any canister solution

• Mitochondrial Stack SS-31, MOTS-C and NAD Sequenced Properly: Why SS-31 plugs the holes before MOTS-C revs the engine, why quarterly month-long SS-31 cycles make sense, and why NAD can run anytime regardless

• 42-Year-Old Australian Female Should You Come Off R: Why she probably doesn't need it at all, why 5-Amino-1-MQ and SLU-PP-332 are the right replacements, and why discipline is a better long-term tool than any GLP

• Fertility Protocol at 33 While Trying for a Baby: Why TRT doesn't have to stop, why HCG and Kisspeptin together improve fertility odds, and why Enclomiphene is the smarter choice over standard Clomid

• Building Muscle at 12% Body Fat and Running 60-70 Miles a Week: Why all that running is burning off the muscle she's trying to build, why cutting back to HIIT and lifting heavy is the real answer, and why low-dose testosterone may matter more than any IGF-1

• Total T of 420 at 43 Is It Time for TRT: Why 420 with low energy is answer enough, why TRT will change his life, and why planning protocols a full year out is overrated for most people

• How to Build a Smart Annual Protocol Without Overcomplicating It: Why JD and Will plan four months at a time, why trying too many compounds at once tells you nothing, and why the gateway compounds R and BPC are always the right starting point

Peptide of the Week: HRT, Peptides & Longevity With Dr. Ksenia24 Aug 202601:14:54

Haas sit down virtually with Dr. Ksenia, known as Dr. K, a functional medicine doctor based in Miami who specializes in hormone replacement therapy, peptides, and weight loss. This one is packed with real clinical insight, especially for the ladies.

Chapters:

00:00 – Intro & Welcoming Dr. K

01:34 – Her Specialties: HRT, Peptides & Weight Loss

02:34 – Why Hormones Are Crashing in Young Men

05:57 – Why Doctors Skip Free Testosterone Testing

08:38 – Sleep, Food & Exercise: The Real Fix

09:48 – Women's Hormone Symptoms & Menopause Myths

14:07 – Finding Your Testosterone "Sweet Spot"

19:00 – Cream vs. Injection & What "Normal" Really Means

25:30 – Retatrutide vs. Tirzepatide for Inflammation

27:21 – Peptides for Athletes & Why BPC Is Banned

31:09 – Overhyped Peptides: MOTS-c, SS-31 & IGF-1 LR3

39:41 – The Ideal Longevity Stack & Real Healing Stories

49:42 – Muscle as the Foundation of Healthy Aging

54:53 – Fasting, Gut Health & Psychedelics

1:04:40 – Fertility Q&A, Dr. K's Personal Stack & Outro

We cover:

🧬 Why hormones are crashing in young people

– Post-COVID, many men saw testosterone drop significantly, viral illness and vaccines both suspected but no confirmed research yet

– Athletes with concussion histories frequently present with low testosterone due to trauma-induced endocrine dysfunction

– Excess body fat aromatizes testosterone into estrogen, tanking levels even in young men

– Free testosterone is the most important marker, not total, and most insurance doctors never run it

– A 12-minute appointment cannot solve a hormone problem, personalized medicine is the only answer

🦋 Women and hormones, the orchestra

– Women are not one hormone, they are estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA, and cortisol all working together

– Low estrogen symptoms: hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings

– Low progesterone symptoms: inability to stay asleep, anxiety, restlessness

– Low testosterone symptoms: zero libido, no motivation, no desire to train

– SSRIs are being prescribed for menopausal symptoms instead of hormones, which kills libido and solves nothing

– Menopause raises cholesterol because the liver keeps making it to synthesize hormones that are no longer being produced. Giving statins instead of hormones is the wrong answer

– Dr. K injects herself with 2 to 3mg of testosterone twice weekly and felt dramatically better within three weeks

💉 Testosterone for women

– Injectable testosterone at 10 to 15mg is well within normal female range and will not cause masculinization

– Creams work but require a higher concentration to hit therapeutic dose

– Compounded injectable estrogen (estrogen cypionate) is an option now that patch shortages are happening

– Pellets are not recommended by Dr. K, injectables or creams only

– Always monitor labs and adjust based on individual response

🔬 SS-31 vs MOTS-c, setting the record straight

– MOTS-c does not create more mitochondria, it reroutes energy. Dr. K has reviewed 80% of MOTS-c studies and finds no evidence it makes more mitochondria

– SS-31 stabilizes cardiolipin in the mitochondrial membrane, which is how ATP production is stabilized. This is the real deal

– Every person over 40 should consider SS-31 for longevity

1:05:45 – Q&A: R Dosing for Bulking

1:13:06 – Q&A: Losing the Last 15 Pounds

1:17:10 – Outro & Coaching Program Reminder

We cover:

• Severe Peptide Sensitivity to CJC and Wolverine: Why blended peptides use a binding ingredient that some people are genuinely allergic to, why single peptides are the right next step, and why sourcing should be questioned first

• How to Verify a Janoshik COA and Spot Fakes: Why the unique code at the bottom is everything, how to verify it on Janoshik's site, and why photoshopped COAs always crop out that code

• 44-Year-Old HYROX Athlete — Add Tesamorelin or Go Straight to HGH: Why HGH wins at 44, why SLU-PP-332 helps endurance and nutrient partitioning, and why bumping Wolverine to at least 1 mig daily matters for athletes

• High Estrogen on TRT with No Symptoms: Why 1067 total T explains the elevated estrogen, why the three symptoms to watch for are the real indicator, and why an AI is not needed without symptoms

• Cortisol, Water Retention and Wrecked Sleep — Non-DSIP Solutions: The glycine, ashwagandha, magnesium glycinate and slow-release melatonin protocol that fixed JD's sleep, why Selank beats Semax for cortisol, and why Epithalon helps reset circadian rhythm

• Collagen Peptides — Do They Actually Work: Why powdered collagen supplements produce modest results at best and why BPC, TB-500 and GHK-CU are the real collagen peptides worth taking

• 53-Year-Old Female Post-Gastrectomy and Mastectomy: Why HGH and secretagogues are off the table, why SS-31 plus MOTS-C are the right longevity tools, and why creatine is non-negotiable for muscle preservation

• Insulin Resistance on Secretagogues: Why growth hormone peptides blunt insulin sensitivity over time, why pulling the secretagogue is the first move, and why an endocrinologist should be in the picture

• Bulking While on R: Why dropping to 1.5 migs every five days keeps food noise at bay while allowing enough appetite to eat for muscle, and why protein per pound of body weight is the only number that matters

• 27-Year-Old Down 80 Pounds — Last 15 to Lose: Why adding muscle is the only way to raise metabolism enough to drop the final pounds and why SLU-PP-332, 5-Amino-1-MQ and MOTS-C hit fat from three different angles

Welcome back, warriors! In this episode of Peptide of the Week, JD Denham and William T. Haas sit down with their personal functional medicine doctor and longtime friend, Dr. Scott Collie, for a deep dive into blood work, cardiovascular health, gut health, thyroid, and what actually matters when you are running gear or peptides.

Chapters:

00:00 – Intro: Dr. Scott & Talking Real Food (Italy Recap)

05:29 – The Truth About "Running Gear"

06:15 – TRT vs. Steroid Cycles Explained

10:22 – Why Bloodwork Timing Matters On vs. Off Cycle

12:58 – Blood Sugar, Insulin & GLP-1s

17:45 – Kidney, Liver & Iron Health Markers

22:25 – Understanding Cholesterol: LDL, HDL & VLDL

27:31 – Thyroid Health & Hashimoto's

30:06 – Homocysteine & Methylation

35:13 – Rapid Weight Loss & Gallbladder Risks

39:16 – Inflammatory Markers & Heart Damage Warning Signs

46:02 – Top Supplements & Peptides for Cycle Support

53:41 – Cycle Timing & When to Test Blood

1:01:51 – Hydration & Final Thoughts

1:06:07 – Outro & Where to Find Dr. Scott

We cover:

🩺What functional medicine actually looks at

– Standard doctor panels are a snapshot, not a full picture

– Dr. Scott runs up to 75 markers including cardiovascular, inflammatory, kidney, thyroid, and gut markers

– Most insurance doctors stop at LDL and HDL, missing the full story completely

– You need particle size, not just cholesterol weight, to understand your true cardiovascular risk

🫀 Cardiovascular markers that matter

– APOB: umbrella marker for all arteriosclerotic particles including VLDL, LDL, and IDL

– Particle size is critical: anabolic steroids shift particles to small dense LDL, the type that sticks and clogs arteries

– Myeloperoxidase and LP-PLA2: direct markers of vascular inflammation most doctors never run

– Triglycerides plus elevated liver enzymes (AST/ALT) almost always means fatty liver, no ultrasound needed

– Fibrinogen: a clotting protein made by the liver, high fibrinogen plus high insulin plus high triglycerides is a walking time bomb, especially for steroid users

– CRP (C-Reactive Protein): one of the best inflammatory markers available, if it is high something serious is going on

🧬Homocysteine, the underrated killer

– Homocysteine scars the inside of your arteries so plaque particles can park and stick

– Now being studied as an Alzheimer's marker as well

– Dr. Scott wants it at 7 or below, many people are at 9 to 50

– Fix: methylate with B6, B12, and methyl folate, simple and cheap

– TRT alone will elevate homocysteine, so methylating is a must for anyone on testosterone

⚖️Retatrutide and rapid fat loss, what to watch

– Losing fat very fast can back up bile flow and cause gallstones, not kidney stones

– Check alkaline phosphatase and GGT before starting Reta if there is any gallbladder history

– Signs of gallbladder issues: bloating, belching, pain under right rib cage, high-fat meal distress, floating stools

– Floating poop is not a good sign, it means fat is not being absorbed properly

– Blood sugar, triglycerides, and inflammatory markers improve dramatically and quickly on Reta

🩸Blood work timing for gear users

– Best time to test: before the cycle starts, to establish your baseline

– After the cycle ends: retest to confirm you returned to baseline

– Mid-cycle testing will look alarming by design, be ready for that

– If you do not know what different esters are, you are not ready to run gear

13:47 – Books That Shaped Jay's Mindset

19:14 – From Corporate Wage Slave to Entrepreneur

28:18 – Growth Through Adversity & Marriage

32:55 – Masculine/Feminine Dynamics

39:53 – Being Present as a Father

1:23:48 – Jay's Personal Stack & Key Supplements

1:39:18 – Foundations First: Diet, Discipline & Fasting

1:55:32 – Book Plug & Outro

We cover:

🧠 The upper game board of life

– Jay's been doing ego deconstruction work with a spiritual coach since November, 9 months in

– Two game boards: the lower (money, success, achievement) and the upper (becoming an ethical human being)

– Most driven men are unknowingly chasing their father's validation, identifying that changes everything

– Sobriety and internal work are the foundation of real growth, JD and Will share their parallel journey

🔬 The peptide industry, what's coming

– 95% of people speaking about peptides have no idea what they're talking about

– American Peptide Association working toward a single-source triple validation certification, expected by end of 2027 or early 2028

– CGMP, green-lit Chinese facilities only, avoid telegram list sourcing at all costs

– Fake Retatrutide being sold for $59.99, if you're buying it that cheap, you know it's fake

– The integrity of the owner is the only real difference between a research use company and a 503A pharmacy

⚗️ SS-31 vs MoTC, the new intel

– Don't stack SS-31 and MoTC together, run them in separate month-long cycles

– If stacking: MoTC during the week, SS-31 on weekends

– High dose SS-31: a trusted source is doing 15 to 30mg daily for one month, describing it as the greatest physique transformation of his life

– SS-31 massively upregulates cardiolipin, jacks mitochondrial oxidative capacity, veins pop, dramatic leanness

💊 Metformin, the underrated longevity tool

– 250mg XR AM and PM, increases Akkermansia in the microbiome

– Akkermansia is the last line of gut defense, kills SIBO, Candida, and makes you virtually impervious to respiratory illness

– Also improves insulin sensitivity, glucose control, and HDL

– Stop a week before a power meet, transiently lowers IGF-1 max output

🔥 BAM (BioBam), the strongest thermogenic Jay has ever used

– 2 grams per day (250mg caps, 2 AM and 2 PM to start, build to 4 caps twice daily)

– Burns pure fat, does not touch muscle

– Run 4 to 6 week cycles, do NOT stack with MoTC, SS-31, NAD+, or SLUPP

– Stack with Bio-Recharge (C60, pomegranate, Urolithin A) to protect mitochondria

🧪 This isn't theory, this is real-world experience working with hundreds of people and seeing what actually works.

• TRT Protocol for a Truck Driver with Total T of 396: Why high body fat raises estrogen and SHBG, why 180-200 migs of test twice weekly is the starting point, and why life changes in three weeks

• Tesamorelin + Ipamorelin Timing When on Retatrutide: Why morning fasted dosing beats nighttime circadian alignment when GLP-1 is slowing gastric emptying and why the two peptides should never be split up

• HGH vs CJC for Muscle Growth Over 50: Why actual HGH wins every time and why splitting the dose morning and night is worth exploring

• Benign Pituitary Tumor What Peptides Are Safe: Why HGH and secretagogues are off the table, why creatine and protein are the real answer, and why IGF-1 LR3 still carries risk

Peptide of the Week: Gut Health, Hormones & Root Cause Healing with Tiffany Marie Davis03 Aug 202601:04:15

Medical Disclaimer: We are not doctors. The content in this video is for educational and informational purposes only and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Any compounds discussed may be intended for research purposes only. Use at your own risk.

Welcome back, warriors! In this episode of Peptide of the Week, JD Denham is joined by Nora Adam (Wholesale Director at Forge Bio Lab) and Tiffany Marie Davis nutrition practitioner, peptide integration specialist, and retired IFBB Pro for a deep dive into gut health, hormone optimization, functional testing, and why most people are being dismissed by the very system that's supposed to help them.

Chapters:

00:00 – Intro & Guest Introductions

01:18 – Tiffany's Fertility Story & Being Dismissed by Doctors

04:43 – Becoming a Nutrition Practitioner

06:08 – Functional Testing vs Standard Labs

09:34 – Vaccine Injury Case & Medical Gaslighting

17:22 – Why Doctors Dismiss Patients

19:30 – The Gut-Brain Connection

20:14 – Top 3 Root Causes: Trauma, Food, Eating Disorders

27:25 – The Anti-Inflammatory Diet

33:19 – How Peptides Actually Work

36:33 – GLP-1s: Benefits, Risks & Misuse

39:45 – Minerals, Copper & GLP-1 Side Effects

44:52 – Fasting & Autophagy: Women vs Men

54:49 – Where to Start If You Feel Unwell

1:02:46 – Outro & Where to Find Tiffany & Nora

We cover:

🦋 Tiffany's story

– Competing as an IFBB Pro destroyed her hormones by age 26 hair loss, amenorrhea, miscarriage, dismissed by every doctor she saw

– Doctors threw metformin, birth control, and dismissals at her none addressed the root cause

– A doctor refused to prescribe T3 because she assumed Tiffany wanted it for weight loss she then miscarried

– Went back to school, earned 13 certifications in nutrition, became a board-registered nutrition practitioner

– Now works entirely in functional testing and root cause healing

🩺 What functional testing actually reveals

– Standard labs are a snapshot they don't tell you WHY

– Most doctors only run one thyroid marker there are eight

– Elevated LDL on keto, carnivore, or RETA is expected your doctor probably doesn't know that

– APOB + hs-CRP are far better cardiovascular risk markers rarely tested

– Functional tests Tiffany runs: gut zoomer, hormone zoomer, organic acids test, heavy metals, mycotoxins, mineral panel, celiac, food sensitivities

🔥 The three root causes she sees most

– Trauma: held in organs (gallbladder = resentment/anger), disrupts the gut-brain axis, spikes cortisol, blocks proper hormone signaling

– Food: our food supply is not the same as 30 years ago — seed oils, dyes, GMO crops, herbicide-sprayed produce, and modified grains are destroying gut linings

– Eating disorders: nutrient deficiencies and intestinal abuse from restriction, bingeing, or purging cause cascading hormone and gut dysfunction

💊 GLPs — the missing piece nobody talks about

– Women losing hair and nails on GLP-1s are malnourished gastric emptying slows nutrient absorption

– Must pair with: magnesium, electrolytes, copper mineral, digestive enzymes, liver support (TUDCA + ergothioneine)

– Copper deficiency is extremely common on GLP-1s and almost never tested

– GLP-1s are a tool not a lifestyle. Use them to build momentum, fix the base alongside them

Welcome back, warriors! In this week's Peptide Q&A, JD Denham and William T. Haas are live from Prague after touring the Janoshik testing facility the gold standard for independent peptide testing. They break down what they saw, how COAs actually work, what testing really costs, and answer questions on fat loss at 447 pounds, chronic pain peptides, and the hardest peptide to test.

We cover:

• Inside Janoshik: What the Tour Actually Looked Like: Why Peter Magic's team does things right, what the petri dish sterility test looks like in person, and why endotoxins are caught at the supplier stage

• How COAs Actually Work The Full Breakdown: Purity vs. identity vs. content testing, what HPLC and mass spectrometry actually measure, and why a COA without all three tells you almost nothing

• What Peptide Testing Actually Costs: $450 for HPLC, $105 for heavy metals, $180 for endotoxins, $290 for sterility and why that math explains why cheap products can't be properly tested

• The Hardest Peptide for Janoshik to Test: Why Cerebrolysin tops the list, why it's made from pig brain and contains multiple peptide strains, and why Retatrutide is challenging due to its molecular weight

• Opiate Painkillers Post-Surgery When to Get Off: Why ibuprofen often works better than Vicodin for actual pain, why ARA-290 is the peptide answer for nerve pain, and why hyperbaric chambers and red light accelerate healing

• 447 Pounds Down to 380 What to Stack with Retatrutide: Why TRT is non-negotiable first, why HGH at 2 IU is the long play, and how SLU-PP-332, 5-Amino-1-MQ and L-Carnitine target fat through different pathways

• Carnivore + Retatrutide Does It Work?: Why you can absolutely do both, when to use carbs strategically around training, and why intermittent fasting compounds the results

Chapters:

00:00 – Intro

00:09 – How the Peptide of the Week Podcast Began

05:11 – Business Partners With Opposite Strengths

09:27 – JD's Wife's Relapse Changed Everything

33:53 – Building a Business Around Integrity

42:30 – Are Entrepreneurs Born or Made?

49:08 – The Values Behind Their Success

51:18 – Future Guests & Final Thoughts

We cover:

🙏 How it all started

– JD's wife relapsed six months after they got married a rough patch that changed everything

– A phone call from a man in AA stopped JD from making a decision he would have regretted forever

– To support his wife, JD started attending a Monday night AA meeting and that's where he met Will's sponsor

– Will had just gotten out of jail after a fentanyl overdose got a sponsor, started going to meetings

– Will's sponsor brought him to JD's house for a Wednesday night book study at 6PM

– Two guys became three, then five, then COVID hit and meetings shut down

– JD's living room turned into a 70+ person AA meeting every Wednesday night

– Without that relapse, without that meeting none of this exists

💪 How fitness connected them

– Both were deep into health, supplements, and fitness

– After meetings they'd talk for hours about compounds, diets, what was working

– Will was always running something JD was always curious about it

– That passion for health was the bridge from friendship to business

🎙️ How the podcast happened

– JD started a fitness channel and wanted to interview Will in his garage first video was on HGH and MK-677

– Second video in the backyard. Third on the beach in Huntington Beach but nobody could hear it

– Their editor suggested making it a podcast it just worked

– Hit 100,000 viewers and neither of them knew what that meant

– Now at 600,000+ monthly viewers still growing

🏢 How the company started

– JD was selling a carnivore diet plan and people wanted the supplements he used

– Will was supplying him JD doubled the price and sold them

– Will needed to raise prices they decided to just partner up

– Flew to Vegas for a business conference, sat down for 10 minutes and recorded a video on a compound that was the first real episode

– Became 50/50 partners neither wanted to fight over percentages

– Started in a garage, moved to a small office in Huntington Beach, now 15+ employees

🔑 Why it works

– Total opposites JD is the face, the storyteller, the social media guy. Will is the builder, researcher, and operational engine

– What JD loves most: the podcast. What Will loves least: the podcast. Perfect.

– Neither can do what the other does they need each other and they both know it

– No ego, no greed, no micromanaging just trust and mutual respect

Chapters:

00:00 – Summer Plans, Travel & Prague Lab Visit

05:00 – Why Vacations Matter & Working Smarter

09:59 – Touring Janoshik Labs & Quality Testing

12:32 – GHK-Cu, Glow & Klow Explained

19:48 – How to Use GHK-Cu Face Serum Correctly

22:55 – GHK-Cu Shampoo & Hair Growth Benefits

29:04 – Why RETA Pairs Well with GHK-Cu

33:51 – Glow vs. Klow vs. Wolverine Stack

46:09 – GHK-Cu Dosing, Cycling & Copper Safety

49:55 – Tattoos, Healing & Final Takeaways

We cover:

🧬 What is GHK-Cu?

– Copper peptide its primary job is signaling your body to produce more natural collagen

– Reduces and corrects skin inflammation

– Helps with wound healing, skin elasticity, fine lines, wrinkles, dark spots, and hair thinning

– GHK-Cu levels decline from ~200 ng/mL at age 20 to ~80 ng/mL at age 60 that decline shows up on your face

– Sub-Q injecting GHK-Cu has been shown to darken hair pigmentation — biochemically based, not hearsay

– GHK-Cu vs Minoxidil: GHK-Cu was found favorable in trials for hair growth

– A wound healing double-blind clinical trial on topical GHK-Cu serum is scheduled for 2026

💉 How to use the Face Serum correctly

– Use a dermal roller first opens the skin so it absorbs properly

– Clean the roller in alcohol before use

– Apply serum after rolling 3 days per week is the sweet spot

– Works if you just apply it, but works significantly better with the roller

– JD and his wife cut laser facial healing time in half using it friend who skipped the serum healed much slower

– Do NOT use numbing cream with the dermal roller Will learned this the hard way

🧴 GHK-Cu Shampoo

– Leave it in for 1.5–2 minutes before rinsing longer contact = better results

– Prolongs the hair follicle growth phase and stimulates thicker follicle growth

– Won't regrow hair on a completely bald scalp, but does make a noticeable difference

– A hairdresser in Orange County was blown away by results on her own thinning hair now sells it in her salon

🌟 Glow Stack (GHK-Cu + BPC-157 + TB-500)

– GHK-Cu: collagen production, skin repair, wound healing

– BPC-157: signaling peptide finds injuries, reduces inflammation, converts food into collagen building materials. Origin story: the peptide that prevents stomach acid from burning through your stomach lining

– TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4): recruits stem cells, sends them where BPC-157 directs, reduces inflammation, accelerates tissue repair

– Together: BPC finds the problem, TB-500 sends the workforce, GHK-Cu builds the collagen

💪 Klow Stack (GHK-Cu + BPC-157 + TB-500 + KPV)

– Everything in Glow PLUS KPV for gut health

– KPV calms gut inflammation, helps leaky gut, modulates immune response

– Most autoimmune issues start in the gut KPV addresses the root

– Best all-in-one health and healing stack available

Peptide of the Week: Gear, GH, Blood Work & Real Talk With Josh Holyfield13 Jul 202601:08:13

Haas sit down with Josh Holyfield fitness coach, educator, and one of the most straightforward voices in the peptide and optimization space. This one gets into blood work patterns, the real problems with Western medicine, gear cycles, HGH science, and why most men are failing before they even start.

Chapters

00:00 – Meet Josh Holyfield

01:16 – From Fitness Coaching to Peptide Education

06:29 – Why He Walked Away from High-Ticket Coaching

10:04 – Why Traditional Medicine Falls Short

15:36 – The FDA, Pharma & the Future of Peptides

20:49 – Blood Work Every Man Should Understand

24:25 – Low Testosterone: Fix the Foundation First

28:23 – Helping Men Transform Their Lives

34:27 – Favorite Anabolics & Building Muscle

37:19 – Growth Hormone, IGF-1 & Recovery

45:10 – Optimizing Steroid Cycles Safely

55:11 – Enhanced Games, Sports & Final Thoughts

We cover:

🩺 What Josh actually sees on blood work

– Most men are walking around with total testosterone between 300–500 and most doctors think that's fine

– Low T is often a sleep and diet problem first not a TRT problem

– Elevated LDL on keto or RETA is expected your doctor doesn't know that

– APOB + HSCRP are better predictors of cardiovascular risk than LDL alone — and most doctors don't test for them

– Statins remove cholesterol the raw material your testicles use to make testosterone. Doctors prescribing statins to low T men are making the problem worse

– Women are almost universally under-eating this is the #1 issue Josh sees

🏥 Why Western medicine is failing

– Doctors aren't malicious they're programmed, incentivized, and legally constrained

– FDA is funded by the pharmaceutical companies it regulates

– Insurance companies dictate treatment guidelines not patient outcomes

– A drug that cures at 79% for $5 can't go to market if a 95% drug exists at $10,000 that's the law

– Peptide regulation is coming but so is more freedom for doctors to prescribe them

💉 HGH — the science behind timing

– GH converts to IGF-1 in the liver that's what builds muscle

– Insulin and IGF-1 compete take GH fasted so it can do fat burning and repair FIRST

– Morning dosing: just came off an 8-hour fast, pituitary still gets its natural 2–3AM pulse

– Night dosing: shuts down your natural pulse for ~18 hours you lose the freebie

– On GLP-1s: morning GH is even more important since RETA keeps insulin elevated for days

– Josh's dose: 6 IU before bed, fasted spectacular results

⚗️ Favorite Compounds — Round Table

– Josh: Testosterone cypionate daily (long ester), Masteron E, micro-dose Tren, EQ for aromatizers. Never needed an AI even at 600mg test/week

– JD: Low test base, Winstrol to kick start, Masteron, occasional Primo. AOD, 5-Amino-1MQ, Testofensine, HGH 2 IU

– Will: Sustanon 3x/week, Masteron, Winstrol, Cardarine for athletic performance. HCG 1500 IU + HMG for fertility prep. Low dose RETA twice/week for brain function

🧠 Real talk on gear

– More gear is not always better diminishing returns are real above 800mg test

– Anavar is a starter drug because people are scared Winstrol actually does more

– If you don't know the difference between esters, you're not ready

We cover:

• Teenage Son with Chronic Boils & Gut Issues: Why stopping antibiotics, running oral BPC and KPV, and getting a stool test done may matter more than any peptide

• TRT at 45 with 300 Pounds to Lose: Why waiting for weight loss to fix testosterone is swimming upstream and why starting low-dose TRT now changes everything faster

• ER Nurse with ADHD, Celiac & Low Energy: Why Modafinil beats Adderall long term, why Selank and Semax are the right pairing, and why hormones need to be checked first

• Low Energy & Low Libido on Retatrutide + TRT: Why rapid fat loss suppresses natural testosterone, why Kisspeptin doesn't work on TRT, and why HCG is the right call instead

• MOTS-C Allergy — What To Do: Why some people simply can't tolerate it, why SS-31 and NAD cover most of the same ground, and why Paul Bakhtiar has the same reaction

• IBD Protocol for Wife: Why oral and injectable BPC plus KPV are the right tools and how long you can realistically run them

• PSA Concerns on High-Dose TRT: Why DHT management matters, what estrogen symptoms to watch for, and when finasteride or dutasteride may be needed

• Coming Off Anti-Anxiety Meds: Why Selank, Semax, Tesofensine and PE2228 cover anxiety and depression from different angles and why meditation and movement still matter most

• Low Testosterone at 30 in Australia — MCT vs Seed Oil Carriers: Why MCT wins on purity and dispersal, why Proviron enhances TRT naturally, and what to watch for with post-injection pain

• Fasting on Retatrutide: Why Retatrutide actually protects muscle during fasting through insulin signaling and why training fasted accelerates results

• Special Forces Vet Trying for Baby #2: Why HCG, HMG and N-Clomiphene together beat Clomid alone and why TRT during conception is more doable than most doctors admit

Peptide of the Week: Top 5 Fat Burners, Menopause Stack & More06 Jul 202600:55:50

Medical Disclaimer: We are not doctors. The content in this video is for educational and informational purposes only and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Any compounds discussed may be intended for research purposes only. Use at your own risk.

Welcome back, warriors! In this episode of Peptide of the Week, JD Denham (live from Cabo) and William T. Haas break down Will's top 5 fat burners, JD's real-world stacks for a 47-year-old man needing to lose 70 pounds, a menopause protocol, and what a 21-year-old athlete should actually be taking.

We cover:

🔥 Will's Top 5 Fat Burners (in order)

– Retatrutide: triple agonist GLP-1, GIP, and glucagon. The undisputed #1. Kills food noise, keeps brain sharp while fasted, no hangry response. Nothing comes close

– Cagrilintide: the appetite suppressant add-on Reta is missing. Better and safer alternative to stacking tirzepatide with Reta - Novo Nordisk already made Cagrisema for a reason

– HGH: boosts metabolism, improves sleep, builds lean muscle, reduces fat. You notice it most when you stop. HGH Frag 176-191 and AOD are great honorable mentions for those already lean

– Tesamorelin: the only compound proven to spot-burn visceral fat. FDA approved. Dose at night fasted for best results do NOT take at the same time as Reta (insulin blunts it)

– MOTS-C: exercise mimetic on a cellular level. Thousands of people reporting great fat loss results. Boots energy, ATP, and keeps you moving more throughout the day

– Honorable mentions: SLUPP-332, 5-Amino-1MQ, Tesofensine, Clenbuterol, Cardarine GW501516, T3 thyroid, Liposa/MIC injection, L-Carnitine

💪 JD's Stack — 47-Year-Old Man, 70 Pounds to Lose, Desk Job

– Step 1: Get bloodwork - almost guaranteed to be hormonally deficient

– TRT: non-negotiable base. Sleep, clarity, energy, sex drive all improve within weeks

– HGH: sleep, recovery, anti-aging, lean muscle, fat burning - must for anyone over 40

– Retatrutide: holy grail for fat loss. Works exponentially better when hormonally optimized

– Wolverine Stack (BPC-157 + TB-500): he hasn't trained, his tendons need support — mandatory

– KPV: 47 years of bad eating has wrecked the gut. Fix the gut, fix everything

– Diet: 90-day carnivore, intermittent fasting Mon/Wed/Fri (eat 12–8PM), weight train 4 days/week, HIT training 3 days/week

🦋 Menopause Stack

– Cellular energy: NAD+, SS-31 (repair first), then MOTS-C

– Mood/brain fog: Semax + Selank together dopamine, serotonin, anxiety relief

– Intimacy/dryness: PT-141 goes from first gear to fifth fast

– Weight gain: Retatrutide even at low doses for women who don't need major weight loss

– Skin/hair/nails: KLOW (GHK-Cu + KPV + BPC-157) collagen, gut health, hair thinning, fine lines

🏊 21-Year-Old Competitive Athlete

– Keep it simple their body heals itself

– Creatine + high protein + eat more food

– Wolverine if they have an injury only peptide worth adding at this age

– SLUPP for stamina and nutrient partitioning if needed

– No testosterone, no secretagogues, no HGH their body produces plenty

– Cardarine would help massively but is WADA banned skip it if competing

🏗️ How it all started

– Started synthesizing peptides from scratch 12 years ago with $30,000 and a small lab

– Spent 7 years building with almost no market nobody knew what peptides were

– Built a 20,000 doctor network and scaled to $170–180M in under 2 years

– Now operates 44+ companies including telehealth, pharmacies, drug manufacturing, research, cosmetics, hair restoration, and more

– 500–800 employees across multiple sites

🏥 What he's built

– Three telehealth companies and three 503A pharmacies

– 50-state hormone license supplies Walgreens, CVS, and rare disease medications to every major university in the US

– Two 503B sterile injectable facilities (two more being built)

– Research manufacturing sites running 12–14 IRBs and INDs per year

– AlphaSync described as Amazon for doctors, full platform for ordering peptides and hormones at a fraction of market cost

– New brick-and-mortar wellness center opening: IV, hyperbaric, red light, full gym, laser treatments all under a membership model

🔬 What's coming — peptides to watch

– FLGR-242 (Follistatin 242): modified follistatin that actually adds muscle one of the most exciting muscle builders emerging

– Lepto: GLP + GIP + Glucagon + IGF-1 once every two weeks injection, helps with weight loss while protecting muscle from wasting

– Albumin-bound semaglutide: 1/10th the normal dose with the same result no receptor burnout

– Oral peptide delivery system: coats peptide to survive digestion, bypasses liver, enters lymphatic system 24x more bioavailable in models. Human trials starting in 30 days

🌏 The peptide industry reality

– China makes 80% of the world's peptide raw materials and that's not changing their facilities cost $300M–$1B+

– Finished goods manufacturing in China is technically not legal enforcement is ramping up as China wants revenue

– American API manufacturing is nearly impossible due to environmental regulations and cost

– Anyone entering the industry now needs real money, real testing, and real infrastructure — the easy days are over

– Janoshik-style third party testing is now essential fake, empty, and underdosed vials are flooding the market

Welcome back, warriors! In this episode of Peptide of the Week, JD Denham and William T. Haas go head to head with their personal muscle building stacks without comparing notes. Will focused on pure muscle building peptides. JD approached it from a full body recomposition angle. Same goal, two very different minds.

Chapters:

00:00 – Fatherhood, Family & God Shots

09:03 – Top Peptides for Building Muscle

11:07 – IGF-1 LR3 & HGH Explained

14:10 – Tesa, Ipamorelin & CJC-1295

19:02 – BPC-157, TB500 & Recovery

21:25 – JD's Muscle-Building Stack

25:28 – MK-677, Fat Loss & Performance

29:40 – Peptides vs Steroids

33:03 – Favorite Cutting Cycles

40:28 – Why Everyone Should Take Creatine

43:02 – Skool Community & Final Thoughts

We cover:

💪 Will's Top 5 Muscle Building Peptides

– IGF-1 LR3: the downstream effect of HGH this IS what builds muscle. Best used post-workout with protein and carbs. 8 weeks max

– HGH: increases IGF-1, burns fat, grows tissue everywhere hair, nails, recovery. The long game

– PEG-MGF: local IGF-1 equivalent inject directly into the muscle you just trained post-workout for localized growth

– Tesamorelin + Ipamorelin: GHRH + GHRP combo increases natural HGH pulses, burns visceral fat, FDA approved. Nearly interchangeable with CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin

– CJC-1295 No DAC: mirrors natural HGH pulses, safer long-term than DAC version

– Honorable mention: Follistatin 344 / Myostatin Inhibitor theoretical but exciting. Modified version (Follistatin 242) more targeted. Still early in human data

🏋️ JD's Get-In-Shape Stack

– Testosterone: the non-negotiable base for anyone over 40. Hormonal optimization first

– HGH (2 IU morning, fasted): better sleep immediately, long-term fat burning and recovery

– MK-677: closest thing to gear without gear. Increases appetite, nutrient partitioning, fullness, and sleep quality. Pairs well with Retatrutide if hunger becomes an issue

– 5-Amino-1MQ: keeps fat burning active while adding carbs for muscle growth

– Wolverine Stack (BPC-157 + TB-500): mandatory for anyone lifting heavy over 40. You cannot build without recovering

– Creatine HCL (3g daily): most studied supplement available. Strength, endurance, cell hydration, muscle growth men and women should take it

⚗️ Gear Curveball — Cutting Stack (JD)

– Testosterone (low, as base only)

– Winstrol injectable (weeks 1–4)

– Masteron (add at week 2, run 2 months)

– Proviron (enhances everything, releases free testosterone)

– Optional: Anavar at the end or in place of Winstrol

⚗️ Gear Curveball — Muscle Stack (Will)

– Testosterone Sustanon 400mg (blend of 4 esters, hits in waves)

– Turinabol 25–50mg daily as kickstart (6 weeks max) — leaner, more athletic than D-ball

– Primobolan or Masteron at 2:1 ratio vs testosterone — low side effects, no water retention

– Proviron in last 3/4 of cycle — peels SHBG off receptors, everything feels enhanced again

– 400mg = anabolic threshold / 800mg = upper limit where receptors are maxed

💡 Real talk

– Peptides alone will not pack on size like gear that's just the truth

– But peptides have an elite safety profile gear cannot match

– Sleep and protein are non-negotiable no stack replaces them

– Creatine HCL over monohydrate for less bloat same results

– Never run gear without testosterone as a base everything shuts you down without it

– YouTube channel: Heresy Financial explains the economy, markets, and how money actually works

– 5-year average annual return of 39–40% vs market average of 10–12%

– Runs a trade alert membership sharing his personal investments in real time

🔄 The left turn finance & fitness parallels

– Left a high-paying career when he stopped believing in what he was selling — same shift happening in health and Western medicine

– People don't change until the pain of staying the same exceeds the pain of changing

– Went carnivore January 1, 2021 lost 50 lbs in 5 months and never looked back

– Key mindset shift: trying to lose weight vs committing to an outcome

🦋 Hashimoto's diagnosis the hidden roadblock

– Developed fatigue and afternoon crashes despite being in great shape and eating clean

– Diagnosed with Hashimoto's hypothyroidism likely aggravated by strict long-term carnivore (thyroid runs on carbs)

– Started naturally desiccated thyroid (NDT) felt normal almost immediately

– Thyroid medication spiked SHBG, binding up free testosterone despite total T of 800–900

– Now on 180mg TRT weekly total T over 2,000 but free T still low at 20–25 due to SHBG of 56

– Solution discussed: Proviron peels SHBG off androgen receptors, frees up testosterone naturally

🧪 JD's current stack

– Testosterone propionate 180mg

– HCG 1,000 IU Mon/Wed/Fri

– HGH 2 IU (morning, fasted)

– Tesofensine clean energy, loves it in the morning

– IGF-1 LR3 pre-workout

– Thymosin Alpha-1

– Wolverine Stack heavy use for shoulders and back

🔬 Will's current stack (fertility prep)

– No testosterone (weaning down for fertility)

– HCG 1,500 IU Mon/Wed/Fri

– HMG 25 IU Mon/Wed/Fri

– Clomiphene 25mg daily

– Cabergoline 1mg/week (prolactin control + mood)

– BPC-157 + KPV daily

– Tesofensine — helping offset low drive from pulling testosterone

💡 Real talk

– Blood work is your GPS you can't know where you're going without knowing where you are

– Tell your doctor everything find one who won't judge you

– Building a physique is hard; maintaining it is easy build first

– Discipline isn't willpower, it's building a life where you don't need willpower

– Sun exposure, grounding, cold showers, and deep breathing are underrated performance tools

If you've ever wondered whether what's in your vial is actually what you ordered, this episode is a must-watch.

Chapters:

00:00 – Intro With Peter Magic (Janoshik Labs)

02:40 – How Janoshik Started

09:09 – DEA Raid & Dorm Room Lab Story

11:49 – Fake Steroids & Underground Labs

19:59 – Why America Dominates The Market

23:31 – Peptide Purity Explained

27:16 – Endotoxins, Heavy Metals & Safety

35:36 – Factory Mistakes & Contamination Issues

43:44 – Angry Customers & Lab Mistakes

46:38 – Peptide Regulations & The Future

50:34 – The Crazy Customs Dildo Story

55:05 – Why Testing Labs Can’t Operate in America

01:03:19 – The Future of Janoshik Labs

We cover:

🔬 What Janoshik actually does

– World's largest commercial analytical chemistry lab for hormones and peptides

– Over 20,000 sq ft, 40+ employees, now receiving 1,000+ samples per day

– Started organically from a dorm room at 16 years old no marketing, no investors

– Grown 50% in the last three months alone

⚠️ What's actually in your peptides

– Roughly 1 in 20 samples is either the wrong compound or so underdosed it's useless

– Recent surge of completely empty vials no active compound whatsoever

– Affects all peptides: BPC, GHK, Sema, Reta, and more

– Empty vials coming mostly from distributors vetting new suppliers most never reach consumers

– "Bioglutide" a completely made-up molecule still being sold and always tests as something else

📊 What actually matters when testing

– Identity and dose: by far the most valuable tests you can run

– Heavy metals: virtually never an issue in peptides don't fall for scare tactics

– Endotoxins: previously considered unnecessary, but recent contaminated batches causing local reactions have changed that view

– 100% purity is physically impossible anyone claiming it is using questionable methodology

– Pharma standard for HGH is 89% purity market standard runs 92–96%

💉 The HGH reality

– HGH is 191 amino acids far more complex and harder to keep pure than short-chain peptides

– Tested over 99% pure HGH exists but is extremely rare

– Fancy branded ampoules (like Bayer Primobolan) test as pure oil over 90% of the time the counterfeiting is near-perfect

🌍 Where the business comes from

– ~2/3 of revenue from the US biggest consumer market and peptide culture

– ~20% from China manufacturers using Janoshik to verify their own products

– 60,000+ individual US clients vs. ~50 massive Chinese manufacturers

🧪 Why you can't test peptides legally in the US

– HGH and many peptides are scheduled substances DEA license required

– Labs operating without proper licensing are legally liable

– GLP-1s are currently testable in the US, but most small US labs still get it wrong

💡 Real talk

– Testing revolutionized the steroid market within 5 years the same is happening with peptides now

– Companies that test consistently produce better products it's cheaper long-term than rebranding after failures

– Pay a little more for companies that actually test their batches it's worth it

🧪 This isn't theory this is real-world experience working with hundreds of people and seeing what actually works.

Welcome back, warriors! In this episode of Peptide of the Week, JD Denham and William T. Haas break down four of the most powerful nootropics available Modafinil, Dihexa, C-Max, and Selanк what makes each one unique, how they feel in the real world, and who should be taking what.

Chapters:

00:00 – Intro, Parenting & Little League Stories

06:49 – Vegas Plans & Podcast Setup

07:33 – Modafinil Explained (Focus & Energy)

14:58 – Benefits, Side Effects & Dosing

20:08 – Dihexa & Brain Health

26:17 – CMAX Breakdown & Brain Fog

31:16 – CLANK for Anxiety & Focus

36:20 – Which Nootropic Should You Use?

40:51 – FDA Status, Safety & Duration

43:30 – Stacking Protocols & Best Uses

46:52 – Upcoming Genoshack Podcast & Outro

We cover:

🧠 Modafinil — The Limitless Pill

– FDA approved for narcolepsy, shift work disorder, sleep apnea

– Non-narcotic, non-habit forming — no euphoria, no addiction trigger

– Boosts dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin — selectively, not like amphetamines

– Pure laser focus without the amphetamine crash or jitteriness

– Duration: 12–15 hours

– Dose: 200mg standard / 100mg cognitive enhancement / start with half if sensitive

– Take in the first half of the day — don't fight it at night

– Not for anxiety-prone people or those sensitive to stimulants

🔬 Dihexa — The Brain Builder

– Discovered at Washington State University

– Rebuilds and strengthens synapses between neurons — not a stimulant hit, a long game

– 10 million times more potent than BDNF in synaptogenesis models

– Being studied for Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, stroke, TBI, PTSD

– Duration: potentially weeks — cumulative effect, don't expect day one results

– Dose: 10–20mg orally (oral caps work best — sub-Q reconstitution is inconsistent)

– Least data of the four — exercise caution, but side effects likely beat the conditions it targets

⚡ C-Max — Stimulant + Neuroprotection

– Think modafinil meets dihexa — energy, focus, AND neuroplasticity

– Upregulates BDNF, boosts dopamine and serotonin

– Used as a standard antidepressant in Russia for 15–20 years

– Dose: 200–600mcg daily sub-Q or nasal spray / Paul's sweet spot: 500mcg

– Build consistently — works better over time

– Stack with Selank for the ultimate combo

🌊 Selank — The Anti-Anxiety Partner

– Think of it as the calm to C-Max's energy

– Anxiolytic — affects GABA and serotonin, similar mechanism to benzos but without the risk

– No sedation, no motor impairment, no dependency — actively enhances memory and focus while calming

– Russia FDA-approved antidepressant

– Dose: 200–600mcg daily / half a mg is the sweet spot

– Do NOT take a high dose before athletic competition — it will drop your edge

📊 Quick Comparison

– Focus RIGHT NOW: Modafinil wins

– Long-term brain health & memory: Dihexa + C-Max

– Anxiety relief: Selank

– Run C-Max + Selank together — they complement perfectly

– Everybody's different — try them, go slow, find what works for your body

56:44 – SS-31, MOTS-C & Neuropathy Recovery

We cover:

🧬 What's happening in autoimmune disorders

– Body attacks itself — thyroid in Hashimoto's, gut in Crohn's, skin in psoriasis

– 80% of diagnosed autoimmune disorders occur in women

– Root cause is almost always the gut — fix the gut, everything follows

– Antibiotics, processed food, seed oils, stress, and poor sleep are the biggest culprits

🛡️ Master Autoimmune Protocol (Psoriasis, Lupus, Lyme, MS)

– Thymalin: re-educates immune system — the marathon (5–10mg, 10 days straight)

– Thymosin Alpha-1 (TA-1): quick sprint to boost T cells (1.5mg, 3x/week, 6–8 weeks)

– Run both together

– LL-37: penetrates biofilm, dumps pathogens — 125mcg for 50 days

– ⚠️ Don't start LL-37 too early — triggers Herxheimer reaction

– VIP: cleans up after LL-37 — start 100mcg 3x/week, build to 200mcg

– Always anchor with KPV + BPC-157

🦠 Crohn's & Colitis Protocol

– KPV + BPC-157 orally first — straight to the source

– Add Thymalin + TA-1 simultaneously

– Bring in LL-37 if not responding, follow with VIP, then MoTC

– Support stack: Glutathione + NAC + L-Glutamine

🦋 Hashimoto's Protocol

– Same immune foundation: TA-1, Thymalin, KPV, BPC-157 + MoTC

– Once markers trend down — add GH peptides (Tesmorelin or CJC + Ipamorelin) for muscle wasting

– Monitor insulin, thyroid levels, and autoimmune markers before adding GH axis

🧫 SS-31 vs MoTC

– SS-31 first: repairs the engine

– MoTC second: press the gas

– SS-31 also powerful for kidney repair, neuropathy, and heart health

🔬 ARA-290

– Derivative of EPO — no blood doping effects

– Exceptional for neuropathy and nerve regeneration

– Pairs well with SS-31

💉 GLP-1 Optimization

– Reta: Paul hasn't seen anyone need to exceed 8mg

– Plateaued on tirzepatide or sema? Titrate down while titrating Reta up

– Clinical tip: GLP-1 on Monday → add small CAG dose by Thursday to quiet food noise

– GLP-1s are neuroprotective — control glucose to the brain, help prevent Type 3 Diabetes (Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, dementia)

💡 Real Talk

– No peptide protocol doesn't benefit from BPC-157

– Sauna 3x/week at 150–160°F for 20 min is one of the best detox tools available

– The compounds work. The lifestyle makes them extraordinary.

🧪 This isn't theory this is real-world experience working with hundreds of people and seeing what actually works.

Peptide of the Week: KPV & PT-141 – Gut Health, Inflammation & Libido11 May 202600:38:54

Haas break down two peptides that are more connected than you'd think KPV for inflammation and gut health, and PT-141 for libido and arousal. One calms the fire inside, the other lights a different kind of fire.

Chapters:

00:00 Intro

00:09 Welcome & Banter (Myrtle Beach, Sharks)

03:23 Today's Topics Overview

05:55 KPV: What It Is & How It Works

08:06 KPV vs NSAIDs – Targeted Inflammation

09:00 KPV for Gut Health & Stacking with BPC

15:00 Stress, Cortisol & Body Composition

20:25 Peptides vs Western Medicine

21:26 KPV Real Life Results

25:43 PT-141: Introduction

26:14 How PT-141 Was Discovered

27:21 PT-141 vs Viagra/Cialis

36:22 PT-141 Dosing Tips & Final Thoughts

37:49 Outro

We cover:

🧬 What is KPV?

– A tri-peptide (just 3 amino acids) derived from alpha-MSH — the same hormone PT-141 comes from

– Your body naturally produces it — virtually zero side effect profile

– Selectively targets inflammation rather than shutting it all off like NSAIDs

– Calms cytokine storms and autoimmune responses without killing good inflammation

– Works in tandem with BPC-157 — KPV calms the environment, BPC does the tissue repair

🔥 What KPV actually treats

– Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, microscopic colitis, IBS, leaky gut

– Inflammatory skin conditions — eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, chronic acne

– Post-antibiotic gut damage — if you ran antibiotics, run KPV

– Athletes overtraining — reduces chronic inflammation that slows recovery past 48 hours

– Any autoimmune condition driven by gut dysfunction

⚠️ The cortisol connection

– Stress, poor sleep, alcohol, and travel all spike cortisol — your body's fight-or-flight hormone

– Cortisol breaks muscle down, converts it to sugar, and stores fat right at the belly button

– Less than 5 hours of sleep = no fat burning, no muscle building all day long

– Alcohol keeps your body out of fat-burning mode until 2–3 PM the next day

– KPV helps combat the inflammatory cascade that chronic cortisol creates

🔥 What is PT-141?

– Also derived from alpha-MSH — same origin as KPV, completely different job

– Discovered accidentally in the 1980s at University of Arizona during tanning research — men started getting spontaneous erections

– FDA approved in 2019 for hypoactive sexual desire disorder in post-menopausal women

– Works on the BRAIN — not blood vessels like Viagra or Cialis

– Boosts dopamine = increases desire, motivation, and arousal from the inside out

– Works equally well for men AND women

💡 How it feels (real-world experience)

– Kicks in 45 minutes after injection

– Flushing/redness right after injection is normal

– Arousal builds gradually — touch or kissing accelerates the effect significantly

– Hypersensitivity during the act

– Too much = nausea, elevated blood pressure, feeling "off" — find your dose

– JD's experience at 2mg: incredible night, felt like a 16-year-old all the next day — too much

⚠️ What to watch with PT-141

– Can raise blood pressure at higher doses — monitor if sensitive

– Nausea is common, especially early on — usually a quick wave that passes

– Do NOT take with uncontrolled hypertension

– Don't combine with other vasodilators carelessly

🧪 This isn't theory this is real-world experience working with hundreds of people and seeing what actually works.

Welcome back, warriors! In this episode of Peptide of the Week, JD Denham and William T. Haas are joined by Dr. Sam Borghei 20-year ER physician and owner of My Hair MD and Todd Padberg, General Manager of My Hair MD. We dig into hair restoration, natural-looking results, peptides for recovery, and the future of medicine.

Chapters:

00:00 – Intro & Guest Introduction03:18 – ER Life, Stress & Burnout06:14 – Personality Traits of ER Doctors10:08 – Transition Out of ER12:16 – Hair Transplant Process Explained18:04 – Procedure, Recovery & Limitations23:02 – Industry Trends & Patient Demand25:55 – Recovery, Peptides & Healing29:41 – Cost Breakdown & Expectations34:23 – Preventative Medicine & Telehealth Vision38:57 – Trust in Medicine Post-COVID43:12 – Peptides, Research & Future Outlook49:00 – Fitness, Hormones & Lifestyle54:54 – Contact Info & Outro

We cover:

🧬 Who is Sam Borghei? 20+ years in frontline ER medicine. Now owner of My Hair MD in San Diego and building a telehealth longevity platform focused on hormone optimization, weight loss, and personalized wellness.

✂️ How a hair transplant works FUE method: follicles are individually extracted from the DHT-resistant donor zone (back of the head). A 3,000–3,500 graft procedure involves 10,500+ steps over 6–8 hours. Grafts are sorted by size heavy grafts go to the back, singles go up front for a natural hairline. Those donor follicles do NOT grow back you have a finite supply (6,000–10,000 max).

🎨 The art of a natural result Hairlines are drawn jagged on purpose. Single hairs line the very front, temples are always filled in, and age-appropriate design matters. Artistry makes all the difference.

💉 Peptides & hair recovery Will used BPC-157, TB-500, and GHK-Cu shampoo post-transplant. BPC-157 and TB-500 support angiogenesis and blood flow to follicles. GHK-Cu supports collagen production and scalp stabilization. Will's results were fast with minimal shedding. PRP and laser light therapy are also available at My Hair MD.

💊 Medications that protect your transplant Dutasteride blocks DHT (which miniaturizes and kills follicles). Minoxidil increases blood flow to support graft survival. Both are commonly used alongside transplants.

💡 Pricing FUE: ~$3.50/graft | FUT strip: ~$3.00/graft. All-inclusive, no hidden fees, financing available. Online consultations offered. Contact Todd: todd@myhairmd.com

🩺 Where medicine is heading Dr. Borghei's telehealth platform (Summer) offers personalized longevity plans biomarker monitoring, hormone optimization, weight loss, and hair restoration. His take: medicine is not one-size-fits-all, and the patient-physician relationship needs to come back.

🧠 Real talk on peptides Peptides are chains of amino acids with a remarkably low risk profile compared to many pharmaceuticals. FDA classifications are shifting, research is coming, and early adopters are already seeing results.

Peptide of the Week: NAD+ & Tesofensine: Anti-Aging and Brain-Based Weight Loss Explained27 Apr 202600:58:33

Medical Disclaimer: We are not doctors. The content in this video is for educational and informational purposes only and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Any compounds discussed may be intended for research purposes only. Use at your own risk.

Welcome back, warriors! JD Denham and William T. Haas break down two powerhouse compounds NAD+ and Tesofensine covering what they are, how they work, real-world experience, and how to dose them right.

Chapters:

00:00 – Intro & Life Updates
05:30 – Parenting, Discipline & Boys
10:00 – Family, Values & Growth
18:30 – NAD Explained (What It Does)
25:30 – NAD Benefits & Real Results

57:45 – Outro

🧬 What is NAD+? A coenzyme found in every cell in your body — essential for life. Powers over 500 enzymatic reactions and is critical for ATP (cellular energy) production. Declines dramatically with age: 100% at birth → 55% by age 40 → 34% by age 60. That decline is why we age — cells stop repairing and regenerating as well.

🔥 What NAD+ actually does – DNA and cellular repair — slows aging at the genetic level – Boosts natural cellular energy (not stimulant energy) – Neuroprotective — mental clarity, sharper focus, better brain function – Improves insulin sensitivity, lipid regulation, and cardiovascular function – Regulates inflammatory pathways and immune response

🧠 What is Tesofensine? A triple reuptake inhibitor (serotonin + dopamine + norepinephrine). Originally developed for Alzheimer's and Parkinson's — researchers noticed patients losing massive amounts of weight. Clinical trials showed 9–11% average body weight loss over 24 weeks.

⚖️ How Tesofensine works – Targets the brain — makes food stop giving you a dopamine hit – Reduces cravings for sweets and junk without fully suppressing hunger like GLP-1s – Does NOT spike blood sugar during fasting – Real energy increase — dopamine-driven motivation, not jittery stimulant energy – Great GLP-1 transition compound for weaning off without falling off track

💡 Real-world experience JD's first run felt off and tired — gave it a bad rep initially. Second run (last 3 weeks): loves the focused, clean energy, similar to Modafinil. Will: no more naps, more motivated, doesn't want to miss the day. Both agree — take it in the first half of the day, it will keep you up.

⚠️ What to avoid – Do NOT combine with SSRIs, SNRIs, or NDRIs (Zoloft, Wellbutrin, etc.) – Reduce caffeine — unnecessary stimulant overload – Do NOT combine with Modafinil – Not recommended for uncontrolled hypertension, bipolar disorder, or severe anxiety – Monitor blood pressure and run regular bloodwork

Welcome back, warriors! In this episode of Peptide of the Week, JD Denham and William T. Haas break down two of the most underrated fat-burning peptides out there — HGH Fragment 176-191 and AOD 9604 what makes them different, how to use them, and why they deserve a spot in your cutting stack.

32:32 – Final Thoughts & Outro

We cover:

🧬 What these peptides actually are

– Both are fragments of the full 191 amino acid HGH chain

– HGH Frag 176-191 = the natural amino acid sequence (176–191)

– AOD 9604 = lab-engineered version (177–191), modified for longer duration and better safety profile

– AOD received FDA GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) status in 2014

– Developed at Monash University in Australia 🇦🇺

🔥 What they do (and what they don't)

– Target lipolysis — fat burning, especially visceral/abdominal fat

– Boost metabolism and increase energy expenditure

– No IGF-1 spike

– No hypoglycemia risk

– No effect on growth — zero cancer concern

– 30–50% greater fat reduction vs controls in studies

– Obese participants lost significantly more body fat vs placebo over 12 weeks

⚖️ HGH Frag 176-191

– Natural fragment of the HGH chain

– Half-life: ~30 minutes

– Can dose 1–2x daily (some go 3x)

– Best taken fasted — morning or pre-workout

– Cycle length: 8–12 weeks

– Comes in 5mg bottles (they don't like water — keep it small)

👑 AOD 9604

– Lab-engineered, modified for longer stability

– Half-life: 30–60 minutes

– Daily dosing (can split AM/PM)

– Additional benefit: potential cartilage and joint repair (not seen with HGH Frag)

– Cycle length: 12–16 weeks

– FDA GRAS status — one of the safest peptides available

– JD's personal top 5 — shines brightest stacked with other cutting compounds

🚫 What NOT to combine

– High-dose corticosteroids

– Full-dose HGH (defeats the purpose of the targeted safety advantage)

– Insulin (just don't)

✅ What pairs great with these

– GLP-1 agonists (Semaglutide, Tirzepatide)

– 5-Amino-1MQ

– L-Carnitine

– BPC-157 + TB-500 (especially with AOD for joint/cartilage synergy)

– CJC + Ipamorelin (boosts metabolism and fat burning further)

🧠 Real-world take

– AOD shines brightest when stacked — it's a force multiplier for your cutting stack

– HGH Frag works fast and hits hard on a short half-life

– Both are tools — results depend on diet, training, and what you stack them with

– Individual response varies — don't let your gym bro's experience dictate yours

🔑 Bottom line: If you want pure fat burning with virtually zero downsides, these two are as clean as it gets.

🧪 This isn't theory this is real-world experience working with hundreds of people and seeing what actually works.
