The Wellness Hour with Paaaah is seldom more than thirty minutes and as Paaaah says “Sure haven’t you the rest of the hour to yourself”. It’s a magazine radio show from the depts of rural Ireland in Munster, where Paaaah our local DJ opens every show with Wellll. In his droll Tipperary accent, he introduces various contributors such as Dr Fintan O Brien from Kerry, who believes people should be doing more procedures on themselves to save money. A sort of DIY medical item. We visit a nursing home each week in his “Away in a Home” slot where he challenges some old folks to interesting tasks. We have our local Beef farmer who has turned his back on Beef and turned to Avocado farming instead. We follow his progress each week with a visit to the bottom of the Comeragh Mountains where his family farm is situated. Our Local vet teaches us how to manage a large dog and deal with a pony in confined spaces and there is much much more in this rogues gallery of madness!
