071: Sabrina Adair15 Nov 202100:49:28

Could it be that your “monkey child” who annoyingly hangs upside down from the furniture is actually not seeking your attention, but is a kid solving their own vestibular issues? Sabrina Adair (M. Sc. O.T.) discusses her new book “Understanding a Child The Occupational Therapy Way; Recognizing and Communicating the Unique Potential of a Child.

Sabrina is not your every day occupational therapist! She is a like-minded professional working to help the world understand children through a developmental, holistic perspective that includes the Adlerian usefulness of behaviour but so much more.  Sabrina invites us to be curious instead of reactionary to use the wisdom of OT’s to really getting to know your child inside and out, so you can make educated decisions and choices in creating an environment at home and school that helps them thrive!  Everyone experiences the world uniquely.  Your kids don’t have to be symptomatic for you to learn how to best foster their potential.
