Emmitt is on the road making his deliveries, dealing with his upset wife, and having his usual motel fun. On his way back home he gets a call from his boss who tells him he needs to do a pickup. He's not too pleased with this news, but when he finds a stranded woman on the side of the road his attitude changes. He may have more work to do, but now he has some company for the night. It's Friday, and David sets to leave for the cabin with the group. During the trek North, some old feelings start to arise as he is forced to sit with Jenn the entire way up, which he chooses to internalize. On the way up though, something very strange happens that David has never experienced: Sleep paralysis without ever really falling asleep. The nightmarish hallucinations begin to blur into everyday happenings. So it begs the question, has it really been sleep paralysis the entire time, or is there something deeper happening within himself? David meets with the rest of the camping trip goers to finalize the plans for the weekend. The atmosphere is very awkward though as this is the first time he has been in the same room with his ex, Jenn, since they split. The group continues to pressure David to finally go see a doctor regarding his night terrors, but as usual, he is reluctant.
