This episode breaks down the number one deer encounter that Nate and Devin had during the season this year. We dissect each and every move the deer made as well as ourselves to better understand behaviors of the hunter and the hunted. This is a deep dive on two encounters from the 2022 fall season.

On this episode Nate and Devin discuss how important it is to have family support when pursuing game at a high level. The boys also spend a good amount of time discussing a recent post made on instagram that got a lot of traction because of the frontal shot taken on a deer. We take time to break down the hunt so folks have more context to what really went down. 

This episode is a very important one for Nate and Devin, it is all about reflecting on the goals that were laid in place before the rut. We discuss what personal growth goals we achieved and came up short with. These are our personal goals and should not reflect your hunting goals. Everyone is on a different trajectory as a sportsman or woman and we merely discuss what goals we felt we hit and missed throughout the 2022 whitetail rut. 

This episode puts a cap on the MOMENTS Series. Devin shares the story of Beckham, a big Michigan 7 pointer, that he has had tons of history with and over 200 pictures. This deer was harvested on the evening of the 15th. Also, Nate shares a close encounter with a large 10 pointer he and his dad had on the same evening of November the 15th. Super good episode, listen to it all the way through!

This is the fourth episode in the MOMENTS SERIES. This episode dives into detail on the buck Nate took on the morning of November 9th. This Michigan buck gave the crew a super hard time on the recovery/blood trail and required the assistance of a dog tracker. This is a very good episode to remind bowhunters how important it is to not remain completely dialed until the deer is in hand and tagged. Great listen!

Episode 3 of the MOMENTS SERIES, Nate and Devin give a MID-DAY Rut Update for November 7th. Coming off a fresh couple of kills, Nate and Devin share their plans for the next 24 hours on how and where they will hunt. The RUT is ON!

This is a good old fashioned buck killing story coming out of the great state of MICHIGAN. November 4th had some pretty crazy weather factors that made hunting interesting; 70 degrees and 30 mph winds are anything but ideal deer hit the ground nonetheless. Nate and Devin give an update on the what is happening on each of there farms in Southern Michigan. Lots of preparation is taking place before the 2022 hunting season and we are documenting it all. On this episode Nate and Devin recap an absolutely epic turkey hunt they had on the Michigan opener, April 23rd 2022. Hunting run and gun style for turkeys with a bow can be challenging and filming the event without the use of a blind can make for an extra challenge.
