In this episode, I speak to Robert Salters who writes mini-agnostic rule sets. You hear about them in the show, but the one you may know of most is Battlespace, an ultra-modern solo/co-op rule set with some interesting mechanics, which you will hear about in the chat. It was fun to talk to Robert, and I thank him on our behalf for taking the time to chat.

In this episode, I speak to Dave Taylor the Publisher extraordinaire. Dave finds miniature painters who are interesting and who he feels are deserving of a spotlight in which to express their ethos and skill. These books are called The Art Of and you can do a bit of a search for them if you want and see if they tickle your fancy. I think Dave is an interesting guy and it is an interesting concept so check it out if you want. In this episode I speak to Nick Komarev a normal hobby man just like you and me. We talk about his hobby journey and his love of Star Wars Armada.

This episode I talk to Brent Henneberry about all of the reasons why he loves Age of Sigmar. Age of Sigmar needs no introduction but if indeed it does then it is a 28mm scale fantasy tabletop war-game set in lots of different mortal realms.

I always enjoy just relaxing whilst painting and shooting the breeze about games people enjoy, I hope you do too!

This episode I talk to B.Bone from Tabletop tactics. Tabletop tactics is a YouTube channel plus a paid service where you can access D&D and Warhammer 40k content.

The content they put together is varied with great levels of production quality plus some genuine characters with enthusiasm for what they do.

It was interesting hearing about Mr Bone’s personal journey and a little insight into the side of Tabletop Tactics we might not usually hear about.

This episode I talk once again to Rich from Too Fat Lardies. Go back to episode 110 to hear about Rich’s back story as in this episode we discover Rich’s opinion on what he thinks makes a good game.

This episode I talk to Andy Burdis of Blackjack Legacy. Blackjack legacy is a youtube channel presenting a number of different genre of video such as unboxings, paint tutorials, hobby hints & tricks, scratch builds, and reviews.

It was fun talking to Andy as he is a laid back guy and it was interesting hearing his opinion and insight into not only his own activity but also into the hobby industry as a whole.

This episode I talk to Colin from Dish Dash Games. Colin has created a number of skirmish and small force tabletop games that have a strong narrative aspect and lend aspects from his love of RPGs. As we talk you will hear about the games but the 2 most prominently featured are Skirmish Sangin, a modern skirmish game set in Afghanistan, and Ultra Combat Normandy, a platoon sized game set in WW2.

Colin was originally from England but moved to New Zealand and his experience of creating games in that area and how technology has allowed him to distribute his work is interesting to hear.

As with all of the episodes it is great just to listen to someones insight and hear about their journey, especially someone who balances a full time job & a hobby that not only fulfils themselves but also benefits us all by giving us great games to play, thanks Colin and keep it up!

This week I speak to Zack Meredith about his journey into 3d sculpting, and his range of ten chibi style miniatures he uses for his RPG games.

I wont spoil the journey but Zack currently has models he has made available from Thingiverse & also a Kickstarter campaign that if you are listening to close to May 17 2019 you may just be able to catch. I have put a link on the description.

It was interesting hearing about Zacks’ journey and insight and I really respect his attitude to create something he wanted but couldn’t find, he has a great attitude.

This week I speak to Tim Korklewski author of Ragnarok, heavy metal combat in the Viking age. Ragnarok is released May 30th 2019 so if after the show it has tickled your fancy then do a wee internet search for it, or follow our link in the description and get amongst it.

As always on the show we delve into Tim’s back story along with talking about the core and key mechanics for Ragnarok and also the Morpheus engine that Tim has created which hints at many more games to come.
