Today's show celebrates the 30-year anniversary of the first girls high school hockey game every played. That occurred on November 19th, 1993 and featured South St. Paul and the Academy of Holy Angels who played at the Ricfhfield Ice Arena.

Both teams met to celebrate that historic day. We hear from South St. Paul Head Coach Dave Palmquist who has seen it all as well as AHA head coach Ryan LaMere. The Stars won 4-1 on Saturday and Taylor Lesnar had two assists. She shared her post game thoughts.

The boys take to the ice today and Roseau head coach Greg Lund rounded out our star-studded lineup on today's show.

The Overtime Podcast features the Girls Upper Midwest High School Elite League. Brandon Spratt joins the program that features Nora Sauer, Maya Engler, and Winny Brodt-Brown.

The Girls Upper Midwest High School Elite League begins tonight from the National Sports Center in Blaine. Co-founders Winny Brodt-Brown and Chris Peterson discussed the beginning stages of the league they created with co-founder Eric Johnson. Along with the help of the legendary late John Russo, the trio created a league that provides a great hockey experience for Minnesota girls high school hockey players. The Overtime Podcast covered all aspects of the game, Brodt-Brown's history as a player and coach, the much anticipated 96-team NIT Tournament and more.

The Summer Celly League playoffs concluded with an exciting playoff weekend from Braemar Arena. Ace Hardware won three games in a row to capture the first Celly Cup with a 4-2 win over Tradition Mortgage in the final game. Highlights of that game, Liz Schepers, Sloane Matthews, and Hailey Hansen joined the program with some post game comments.

The Trojans were recently announced as a Hockey Day Minnesota team as they will be in Warraod this upcoming January. O'Leary talks about his team's summer hockey work and a number of other topics.

The Summer Celly League's Chris Peterson joins the show to discuss the upcoming Women's hockey league that opens play at the Bloomington Ice Garden on Wednesday, July 12th. The hosts, Pete Waggoner, Matt Harrington, and Brandon Spratt covered the Twins 7-6 win over the Cleveland Guardians and the return of Royce Lewis to the lineup and his impact. The dust up between Diamond Sports Group and MLB has taken center stage this weekend and the discussion was about what it all means and why things are in the position they are. There was some Stanley Cup Final discussion with a look at the Twins uniforms. Pete needed 6 months to let them sink in after they were unveiled in November of 2022 to have an opion on them. The guys delivered a spirited discussion on them.

Minnetonka assistant coach Tom Stretar is in studio to discuss the Skipper's dramatic 2-1 double overtime win over Chanhassen.  Stretar was with Chanhassen when the program first started as a coach with Chris Wilson.  In today's program, Stretar shared his unique perspective of both programs, the game, and what lies ahead for the Skippers and the state tournament field. 

We hammered out a big high school hockey show and heard from Ms. Hockey winner Ella Boerger, Senior Goalie of the Year Uma Corniea.  We also discussed the Section 2A playoffs with Orono coach Sean Fish while Sean Goldsworthy of the Minnetonka Skippers joined in the discussion.  Chanhassen coach Sean Bloomfield shared his post game reaction of his team's 2-1 (ot) win over Eden Prairie.  Finally, we looked at the sections and how they are shaping up as we head down the stretch and head toward the state tournament.
