| Canada Is Falling Apart in Real Time. Why Don’t Liberal Voters Care? | 27 Sep 2026 | 00:08:54 | |
We’re watching Canada change in real time. Families feel the cost of living every day, and young people wonder how they’re supposed to get ahead. So why does it feel like the Liberals no longer have to defend their record? In this episode, I talk about the people who will cheer for their political side no matter what is happening around them, and what it would take for voters to start demanding answers. Do you think Liberal supporters still hold their own side accountable? I want to hear what you think. More from BertaProudDad: https://bertaprouddad.com
| Why Carney’s Trump Strategy Could Fail: David Eby’s Warning | 26 Sep 2026 | 00:08:56 | |
Mark Carney, “but Trump” doesn’t pay the damn bills. David Eby called a snap election with Donald Trump front and centre. Then an Angus Reid poll put the BC Conservatives eight points ahead. Is this a warning about the political strategy Carney is counting on? In this episode, I break down Eby’s election gamble and explain why I think campaigning against Trump has an expiry date. Canadians can dislike the American president and still demand answers from their own government. You don’t get a free pass on affordability, housing or your record just because you point south. The BC election isn’t decided. Angus Reid’s September 24 poll put the Conservatives at 43% and the NDP at 35%, while a separate Liaison poll released September 23 had the NDP ahead. These are competing snapshots, and my argument about what they mean for Carney is political commentary. Listen, then tell me: is the “but Trump” routine wearing thin? | Carney’s Plan Will Fail: David Eby’s Election Gamble | 25 Sep 2026 | 00:10:01
David Eby called an election thinking anger at Donald Trump would help him. But recent polling has him trailing the BC Conservatives. In this episode, I explain why I think that strategy could backfire, what it says about Mark Carney’s approach, and why voters are focused on the problems leaders keep trying to pin on Trump. Do you think Eby read the room wrong? Listen and tell me what you think.
| The NDP Does Not Trust Albertans to Think for Themselves | 23 Sep 2026 | 00:10:21 | |
The NDP calls it an information session. According to an attendee who was inside the room, it looked more like political obedience training. A man reportedly asked for help understanding Alberta’s referendum questions because English was not his first language. Instead of being directed to clear information, the attendee says he was simply told how to vote: no, no, no and Option 1. In this episode, I explain why that should bother every Albertan, what Option 2 actually means, and why the NDP and Forever Canadian are working so hard to keep Alberta locked into the status quo. Option 2 does not make Alberta independent the following morning. It directs the Alberta government to begin the constitutional process required to hold a future binding referendum. It gives Alberta leverage and sends Mark Carney a message that cannot be ignored. Your vote belongs to you. Not the NDP. Not Forever Canadian. Not any politician standing at the front of a room with a script. On October 19, I am voting Option 2. Share this episode with an undecided Albertan. | Carney, Trudeau and the Politics of Dependency | 22 Sep 2026 | 00:10:20
What if your financial struggle is someone else’s political advantage? In this episode, I make the case that socialism creates a dangerous political incentive: keep people dependent on government, then ask for their votes to keep that support flowing. Mark Carney, Justin Trudeau and the Liberal vision of bigger government deserve a tough question: where is the plan to help Canadians succeed without relying on the next government cheque? A safety net should help people get back on their feet. My concern is what happens when that safety net becomes a permanent source of political power. Listen, challenge the argument and tell me where you draw the line. Follow BertaProudDad on Spotify for more outspoken political commentary from Alberta.
| Trump Eyes Belarus Potash. Where’s Carney’s Plan? | 22 Sep 2026 | 00:11:45 | |
“Elbows up” won’t pay your mortgage. Donald Trump is looking at Belarus for potash, and Canadian workers deserve a serious answer from Mark Carney. What happens when a major customer starts shopping somewhere else? In this episode, I break down the risks facing Canadian potash, Parliament’s return, and the online speech and privacy legislation Canadians should be watching. And conservatives need to answer something too: why are we tearing each other apart while the Liberals benefit? We get into: • Trump’s Belarus potash negotiations and the potential consequences for Canadian industry. Support my voice and grab your gear: What concrete step should Ottawa take first to protect Canadian resource jobs? Political commentary and opinion. | Carney’s EU Plan: What Are Canadians Signing Up For? | 17 Sep 2026 | 00:09:07
Mark Carney’s EU plan deserves serious scrutiny. What would Canada agree to, who gets the final say, and where could this relationship lead? In this episode, I react to Carney’s remarks about closer ties with the European Union and explain why I believe Canadians need clear answers before supporting any agreement. We get into the proposed associate relationship, the difference between parliamentary approval and a direct public vote, and the questions Canadians should ask about obligations, accountability and sovereignty. My concern? The announcement alone doesn’t tell us where this could eventually go. Canadians deserve to understand the terms before being asked to support them. This episode includes political commentary and opinion. Proposed associate membership is not the same as Canada having joined the EU. | Why Is Jason Kenney Going After Conservative Creators? | 09 Sep 2026 | 00:10:00
Jason Kenney, we don’t need your permission to speak. The former Alberta premier is criticizing conservative creators. Today, I’m responding and explaining why independent voices matter in the debate over Alberta’s future. You can disagree with our arguments. We can question yours right back. Having held political office doesn’t make your opinion worth more than the Canadians listening. These audiences are real people with real concerns. They work, pay taxes, raise families and live with the decisions politicians make. Whether we’re questioning Jason Kenney, Mark Carney or anyone else, we have every right to participate in the conversation. | Alberta’s Debate Has Gone From Labels to Threats | 07 Sep 2026 | 00:11:09
First the labels. Now the threats. All for wanting a better Alberta? Disagree with us? Make your argument. Calling people names doesn’t answer their questions, and intimidation doesn’t make a weak argument stronger. In this episode, I address the harassment and threats facing people speaking up about Alberta’s future. I also explain why I believe Jason Kenney is leaning on fear ahead of the October 19 referendum. Albertans deserve arguments they can examine, question and challenge. Keith Wilson and the Alberta Transition Council have put serious work into the Alberta Transition Plan. In my previous episode, I broke down that plan and its key concerns. If critics disagree, let’s hear them address what it actually says. We’re allowed to demand better. We shouldn’t have to accept harassment for doing it. | Alberta Independence: The 214-Page Transition Plan They Said Didn’t Exist | 06 Sep 2026 | 00:10:03
They told Albertans there was no plan. They said independence would destroy our pensions, collapse health care, kill trade and leave us without a functioning country. Now the Alberta Transition Council has released a 214-page transition plan that takes those arguments head-on. In this episode, I break down what the document actually says about the legal path to independence, CPP, banking, currency, trade, citizenship, health care, First Nations and treaties. I also explain what the plan answers well, what would still have to be negotiated and why October 19 matters. This is not another slogan. It is a serious plan that every Albertan should read before deciding our future. | Canada Could Take 30 Years to Fix. Alberta Won’t Wait | 05 Sep 2026 | 00:15:35
Canada could take decades to rebuild, and Alberta may not be willing to wait. Justin Trudeau left behind economic damage, weak productivity, limited trade options, stalled infrastructure and a military requiring years of rebuilding. Mark Carney and the Liberals can keep Canadians focused on Donald Trump, but blaming America will not build pipelines, refineries, ports or a powerful Canadian military. This episode examines what Canada would actually need to become economically independent, how long that transformation could take and why Alberta independence is no longer a fringe conversation. | Carney’s Liberals: No Answers, Just Labels | 04 Sep 2026 | 00:11:26
Canada’s federal debt more than doubled. Housing became unaffordable. Immigration overwhelmed our capacity. Yet instead of defending their record, Carney’s Liberals attack and label anyone who challenges them. In this episode, I break down where Canada stands politically, how fear replaced honest debate and why independent voices matter more than ever. They tried cancelling me. They got me fired. | Carney vs. Trump: They Fight, You Pay | 03 Sep 2026 | 00:12:10
Mark Carney says proposed U.S. trade terms could turn major Canadian industries into American subsidiaries or gradually wipe them out. Meanwhile, Donald Trump and senior American officials are answering a serious economic dispute with insults, taunts and memes. But while politicians compete to make each other look tough, Canadian and American citizens are the ones paying the price. In this episode, I discuss Trump’s tariffs, Canada’s counter tariffs, Pete Hegseth’s post about Canadian cadets, threats to Canadian jobs and the failure to build the pipelines and export infrastructure Canada needs. Standing up for Canada requires more than outrage and political theatre. It requires leadership, accountability and a real economic strategy. Independent voices matter. | Mistaken Identity, Online Smears and Fighting Back with Teej Johannesson | 16 Jul 2026 | 00:51:00
Sylvan Lake Town Councillor Teej Johannesson is back on the show after facing a wave of online attacks following his last appearance. This time, Teej addresses the mistaken identity controversy, the accusations being made against him and the tactics used to pressure people into silence. Bullying someone does not make you right. Shaming someone does not prove your point. Repeating damaging claims online does not make them true. I offered Teej my platform so he could respond directly, clear the air and tell his side of the story without being shouted down. You do not have to agree with him, but you should hear what he has to say before making up your mind. Listen to the full conversation and decide for yourself.
| Alberta-Ontario Pipeline: Did Independence Force Canada’s Hand? | 06 Jul 2026 | 00:17:26 | |
All of a sudden Canada wants pipelines. Danielle Smith and Doug Ford are now pushing the Northern Shield Energy Corridor, a proposed Alberta-to-Ontario pipeline running from Hardisty, Alberta to Sarnia, Ontario. And the timing is funny as hell. This comes right after Mark Carney and Danielle Smith announced another pipeline proposal to the west coast. So now we have pipelines east, pipelines west, energy corridors, national projects, Canadian steel, Canadian jobs, Canadian energy security, and politicians pretending Canada suddenly works. I support pipelines. I support oil and gas. I support the men and women who build this country. But I also have questions. Why now? Who pays? Who profits? Who gets the contracts? And did Alberta independence finally scare the political class enough to start treating Alberta like the economic engine it has always been? In this episode, I react to the Alberta-Ontario pipeline announcement, the Northern Shield route, Danielle Smith, Doug Ford, Mark Carney, Alberta independence, Ottawa red tape, and why I will not believe a damn thing until shovels are in the ground. | Alberta Independence Doesn’t Mean Hating Canada | 01 Jul 2026 | 00:12:44
Canada Day feels different when you support Alberta independence — for a lot of us, it feels more like Alberta Day now. Justin Trudeau broke trust, Mark Carney is trying to sell unity, and Danielle Smith is putting Alberta’s future in front of Albertans — but I refuse to fall into the trap of hating good Canadians who stood beside us. Alberta independence should be about freedom, not turning on family, friends, conservatives, and people we stood shoulder to shoulder with at the Freedom Convoy. | They Fired Him — Then Sylvan Lake Elected Him | Teej Johannesson Unfiltered | 01 Jul 2026 | 00:58:26
They fired him from football. Then Sylvan Lake elected him. Town of Sylvan Lake Councillor Teej Johannesson joins me for an unfiltered conversation about faith, family, freedom, and the fight that followed him into municipal politics. Teej shares his side of the story after being removed from his football coaching role for speaking out, why he decided to run for council, what happened after he won, and why he believes the pushback against him has continued inside town hall. We discuss Sylvan Lake council, Mayor Megan Hanson, Councillor Joe Iwanicki, local politics, freedom of speech, family values, and why people need to start paying attention to what is happening in their own municipalities. Municipal politics matters more than people think. This one is raw, honest, and off the cuff. Support independent voices and wear your opinion:
| Danielle Smith Sets the Record Straight on Alberta, Ottawa & the Referendum | 30 Jun 2026 | 00:29:49 | |
sat down with Alberta Premier Danielle Smith for a direct conversation about the issues Albertans are actually talking about. This wasn’t a mainstream media interview. We talked about the Alberta flag, the division we’re seeing in this province, First Nations collaboration, equalization, the referendum question, Mark Carney, Ottawa, pipelines, Alberta’s future, and why she keeps doing the job when every decision gets attacked. Premier Smith responded to questions about whether the equalization formula is broken, what Alberta’s real options are after Jason Kenney’s 2021 equalization referendum, and whether Albertans can trust Ottawa to follow through on promises around energy, pipelines, investment, and respect for this province. We also talked about the work being done between the Alberta government and First Nations communities, including economic opportunity, resource development, jobs, ownership, and partnerships that often get ignored in the political noise. Love her or hate her, it’s not every day you get to sit down with the Premier of Alberta and ask the questions regular Albertans are asking. This is the full interview. In this episode

| Brookfield Cashes In While Alberta Gets Screwed | 26 Jun 2026 | 00:09:55 | |
Alberta keeps being told to wait, be patient, and trust Ottawa. But how many times does this province have to watch the same game play out before people finally wake up? In this episode, I break down why Alberta needs to stop pretending Ottawa is going to fix this country, why Canada is heading in the wrong direction, and why people are asking serious questions about political power, corporate influence, Brookfield, Mark Carney, and who really benefits while Alberta keeps getting treated like the ATM of Confederation. This isn’t about being negative for the sake of it. This is about Alberta’s future. Our jobs. If you believe Alberta needs to stand up, this episode is for you. Support independent voices:
| Treason? For Letting Albertans Vote? | 23 Jun 2026 | 00:12:26 | |
Albertans are being told that asking questions about their own future might be “treason.” That should bother everyone. This episode is not about attacking First Nations people. Treaty rights matter. Consultation matters. History matters. But political leaders do not get a free pass when they use dangerous words to scare Albertans away from a democratic referendum conversation. Danielle Smith, the Alberta referendum, October 19, Ottawa, democracy, treason, political grandstanding — it all connects. The real question is simple: Are Albertans allowed to debate their future, or only when the political class approves of the conversation? Alberta’s future should be decided by Albertans. Not Ottawa. Albertans. Listen now and decide for yourself. Support Our Mission Here
| Sundre Rodeo Parade Cancelled: They’re Blaming Me | 16 Jun 2026 | 00:16:10 | |
The Sundre Rodeo Parade was reportedly cancelled, and now some people are blaming me for talking about it. I didn’t cancel the parade. I reported what happened. This started after a float with Alberta flags was reportedly treated as too political. No slogans. No campaign message. Just Alberta flags. In this episode, I explain why people are upset, why Alberta flags should never be controversial in Alberta, and why the blame belongs with the decision makers, not the people who brought attention to the story. Keep it respectful. Do not threaten anyone. Do not harass volunteers. Ask fair questions, demand accountability, and keep the focus on the decision. Keep us on the air! Visit the website

But this is not the finish line. This is where the real work begins. In this episode, we talk about what this moment means for Alberta, why the movement needs to stay focused, and why Albertans do not have to agree on everything to stand together on one common goal: Alberta independence. | Canada Is Broke And Carney Thinks You Won’t Notice | 29 Apr 2026 | 00:10:07
Mark Carney’s fiscal update is being sold like calm, competent leadership — but Canadians need to stop and look at what is really happening. Canada is not booming. Families are drowning in bills. In this episode, I break down the real financial state of Canada, how we got here after a decade of Liberal rule, why too many people still think the country is doing fine, and the conservative solutions that could actually turn things around. | Carney’s $25 Billion Debt Fund: You Pay | 28 Apr 2026 | 00:13:41
Mark Carney just announced the Canada Strong Fund and the media will probably sell it like it’s some brilliant nation building idea. I’m not buying it. In this episode, I break down why this so called sovereign wealth fund looks a hell of a lot more like another Liberal debt program dressed up with better branding. Countries like Norway built real wealth by selling their natural resources, building surpluses, and investing from strength. Canada? We’re buried in debt, running deficits, dealing with inflation, and still suffering from a decade of terrible Liberal policy. And now the same Liberal orbit that helped create this mess wants Canadians to believe more government spending is somehow the answer. I get into: -What Mark Carney announced-Why comparing Canada to Norway matters-How Liberal policies helped put us in this hole-Why repealing the tanker ban and building pipelines makes more sense-Why Canada should be exporting our products to the world instead of borrowing more money-And why independent media matters now more than ever This is not Canada Strong. | Alberta Independence Can’t Ignore First Nations | 14 Apr 2026 | 00:14:40
In this episode, I break down an important point that should not be controversial: First Nations deserve respect, their voices matter, and they should absolutely be heard in any conversation about Alberta’s future. At the same time, every Albertan deserves to have a voice as well. This is not about hate. It is not about division for the sake of division. It is about fairness, respect, and refusing to let outside pressure, corruption, and political games drive a wedge between people during one of the biggest discussions this province could face. If Alberta is going to have this conversation, it has to be honest. It has to be respectful. And it has to include everyone. Support the show and the channel at BertaProudDad.com

Alberta’s new Bill 25 is drawing a clear line in the sand. Danielle Smith and her government are sending a message a lot of parents have been waiting to hear: teachers are there to teach, not push politics, activism, or ideology in the classroom. That is exactly why the backlash has been so loud. In this episode, I break down why Bill 25 matters, why so many Alberta parents support it, and why putting students first should never be controversial.
