Oklahoma is reeling into the bye week, and another night to think about the Georgia loss has only brought more questions.
Brandon Drumm and Travis Davidson work through what went wrong in Athens, why OU stuck with John Mateer and what Brandonās sources said about the decision to leave Whitt Newbauer on the bench. They also examine the parts of Ben Arbuckleās game plan that created opportunitiesāand why the offense still could not turn those opportunities into enough points.
The conversation goes beyond the quarterback. Running back vision, offensive confidence, the failed two-point attempt, changing lineups and a lack of continuity all come under the microscope. The guys discuss Brent Venablesā role, the experience young players are gaining, recruiting reinforcements and the potential resources available to build the 2027 roster.
Then comes the question OU fans want answered: Can the Sooners salvage this season, and what has to happen during the bye week to give them a chance against Texas?
