In 1993 there was a Sunday night show at American Legion Post 555 on Beach Boulevard in Westminster, California. Some of the bands that played were Ashes, Function, and Drift Again. There may have been other shows at this American Legion Post, but this was the only one that I ever attended. It was exciting to have a show in Westminster that was literally minutes from my house. Zed Records was a punk/hardcore music hub from the 1970s all the way into the early 2000s. If you wanted alternative music this (along with Vinyl Solution) was the place I mainly went to get my fix. If you did a band you wanted your demos and records on the walls. The place had an incredible cast of characters behind the counter, none who loomed larger than Big Frank Harrison, who many (myself included) thought he owned the place.
