The Cleveland browns lost Sunday to the New York Jets in a variety of ways but if there was thing that was crystal clear it's that Dillon Gabriel is struggling badly. For every decent throw there is there's two to three that are just terrible. Going to Shedeur Sanders feels like a love to apease the masses but the belief has to be that he can bring more to the position than Gabriel.

Paul Depodesta has left the Cleveland Browns to return to Major League baseball with the Colorado Rockies. Depodesta became a hated figure to Browns fans with most of them not actually having any idea what his actual job was. The Browns head to New Jersey to face the Jets on Sunday and while most want the team to tank if the Browns do string together some wins to close out the season it will be a tremendous lift to the young core of players currently here who are trying to get this team competitive for a multiyear stretch.

Browns new play caller Tommy Rees spoke about the importance of getting life into the Browns offense and the importance of the passing game. The Jets bring an interesting challenge as in it's tough to know what to expect from a team on defense that just traded away their best two players.

The Cleveland Browns saw the trade deadline comeand go without much activity. Cleveland sent Joe Tryon-Shoyinka to the Beras in a draft choice exchange. The Browns weren't moving Myles Garrett and Denzel Ward was not going to bring back the return Sauce Gardner did, so not sure where the fan uproar came from. David Njoku remained and has expressed interest in staying beyond this season.

Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski announced a change on offense, no, not the change many were hoping for. Dillon Gabriel remains the starter but offensive coordinator Tommy Ress will be the new play caller, reading into this move it probably doesn't mean all that much. There is an extremely high chance that Dillon Gabriel is not the answer for the Cleveland Browns and that's not a problem. The problem is those grading his play and trashing him believing that they were was ever a chance he would be "the guy." The Browns quarterback of the future isn't even in Berea yet, and let's start praying for whoever that young man is because most of the fanbase does not know what good quarterback play looks like and will turn on said kid the first chance they get.

In the battle of two teams who could not find their way the Cleveland Browns showed to not be as lost as some suggest in a total dismantling of the Miami Dolphins. The offense wasn't that impressive but certainly did enough in taking advantage of opportunities. The defense was a menace all day, creating turnovers, rushing the quarterback. The Browns aren't right yet, but showed signs they aren't dead either.

The Cleveland Browns have signs of improving with all the rookie talent that they are playing, but after six weeks the youth movement needs to start producing. Having youth is great but if it's not improving it's not going to solve any of the issues this team is having. Miami is a very beatable opponent and the Browns need to go out there and handle business.

Shelby Harris is older but still performing at a high level and Mike Hall is nearing a return, Shelby could help a contender. Jerome Ford to the Chargers makes a ton of sense as well.

The Cleveland Browns latest loss is showing a team that has issues (major and minor) everywhere. The offense has an older line who is showing their age combined with offensive tackle play that is truly offensive. The skill players on offense are extremely young and can not play with much consistency. The defense had a few games that tilted their rankings into making folks think it's better than it actually is. The difficult part of the schedule isover and this team has to start looking competent.

The Cleveland Browns after sleeping on it a couple of days have officially announced that Sheduer Sanders is now the back-up quarterback to Dillon Gabriel. It is a full on youth movement in Cleveland. The Steelers at home have always been kryptonite for the Browns but maybe this young group has just enough moxy to go in there and break the curse. If so, it will require Jerry Jeudy busting out of his early slump and opening up the offense for everybody else.
