Speaking to the Celtic View podcast, the Celtic coach said: “The preparations have been very good. The experience the players had last week will stand them in good stead. It’s a new environment playing competitive football in a league against physically dominant teams. “They coped with it pretty well last week but we’ll be looking for a big improvement in this game now that they’ve sampled a taste of it. 2021-06-04 The Celtic View Podcast 2021 E48 with Lisa Robertson06 Jun 202100:12:00
It’s the final day of the Scottish Women’s Premier League season, and a day when Celtic could make history. Victory for Fran Alonso’s side over Motherwell will secure a second-place finish and deliver Champions League football to the club for the first time. It would be a phenomenal achievement for the Hoops in what is only their first season as a professional club, and that is the focus for the players this afternoon (Sunday). However, an incredible run of form which has seen them unbeaten in their last 12 games – 11 wins and one draw – means that the race for the league title has gone down to the final day. Celtic need to win by at least three goals against Motherwell and hope that Rangers can beat Glasgow City in their match. And while the odds may be in favour of the defending champions, it had made for a thrilling and unpredictable end to the campaign. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

Chris Jullien can’t wait to be back playing in the Hoops as he speaks exclusively to the Celtic View podcast. Speaking exclusively to the Celtic View podcast, Chris Jullien said: “At the moment when I got injured, I remember Odsonne coming up to me and saying, ‘Chris, don’t worry. It’s going to be okay, it’s going to be okay.’ ‘I was devastated. Every time in my career when I’ve had a little injury, I always thought I would come back really fast.’ “The first thing I said to him was that I was going to miss the Rangers game. It was a really important game that could have put our season on the other side, so to miss that was really difficult in my mind. And then to miss all the rest of the games was so painful.
