Episode 8 is the final installment of the Don Rhodes’ presentation on the wine and peach industries. If you have listened to episodes 6 and 7 you will know that this final portion has audio quality issues, but it is the final piece of the presentation and we still wanted you to have the opportunity to listen to it. Don Rhodes continues his presentation on the wine and peach industries of Catawba Island. He shares even more of his fruit knowledge, a great trivia piece about Napoleon and canning jars and many more interesting tidbits. This is not the end of the presentation, though, because the audio quality severely diminished from the point where this podcast stops. We have done our best to enhance the audio, though, and will share the remainder in Episode 8 next week. We will also release Episode 9 at the same time in case you have difficulty listening to Episode 8.

We continue on the Catawba driving tour with Don Rhodes narrating locations along the way. As we are leaving the Catawba Cliffs through the Catawba Island State Park, we head down Moore's Dock Road, into the Catawba School neighborhood and then out Schoolhouse Road onto Northeast Catawba Road.
