2025 BUSINESS Year in Review: Rejecting Endless Growth, Spacious Launches, and How My Sabbatical Changed Everything03 Jan 202601:23:53

I'm pulling back the curtain on my 2025 business insights... nosy bitches, this one's for you!

I share the ultimate the plot twist: I made almost the exact same money as 2024, while taking a 3-month sabbatical, working essentially part-time, and living like an eccentric writer.

I break down my Pitch Perfect launches (including a surprising feeling I had with my first $20K month), why I'm retiring from being "The Podcast Queen," and the creative possession that birthed SUPERNOVA — my new thinking lab for people who want to build intellectual frameworks that shape culture instead of learning more tactical skills.

Plus: why I'm choosing restraint as my 2026 word, and why I'm actively exploring capped business models and circular economies instead of scaling into outer space.

Themes from the episode:

  1. Making the same money while living exponentially better - I generated $143K (basically what I made in 2024), but took almost 3 months off, worked Tuesdays-Thursdays, and traveled to 10+ cities, which honestly feels more successful than any revenue goal ever could.
  2. From reactive hot takes to restrained discernment - I'm retiring the knee-jerk cultural commentary and choosing thoughtfulness over Threads wars, because not everything needs my opinion and frankly, discernment is sexy as hell.
  3. Why SUPERNOVA exists and why I refuse to be the podcast queen forever - The sabbatical revealed I don't want my legacy to be "she taught people to pitch/podcast," I want it to be "she taught people to build worlds," which required creating a 4-month thinking lab for intellectual frameworks that transcend your current business reputation.
  4. Ditching cold pitching for relational EVERYTHING - I stopped teaching extractive tactics and started focusing on nurturing your actual circle, which resulted in my most collaborative Pitch Perfect cohorts and proved that relationships always win over spray-and-pray strategies.
  5. Exploring capped income and circular economies because endless growth is a scam - I engaged in 8+ swaps/trades for high-ticket programs, I'm capping SUPERNOVA at 10 people, and I'm actively researching what it means to redistribute resources instead of building a team-run empire I don't even want.

My 2026 themes: CREATE. PLAY. PHILOSOPHIZE. EXPLORE. UNEARTH. ASK BIG QUESTIONS. SIMMER. PONDER. WONDER. THINK.

2025 PERSONAL Year In Review: Emotional Whiplash, Creative Possession and Learning to Stay Put and Grow TF Up31 Dec 202501:08:51

Grab your tissues and your matcha - we're doing a full 2025 emotional autopsy.

Today I'm taking you through my personal year in review: space-cowgirl birthday parties, devastating loss, AI-induced mental glitches, and finally learning how to stop abandoning myself in relationships.

This was one of the most plot twist-filled years I've ever had - like WTF happened?!

Themes from the episode:

  1. The Cape Town summer that was pure lightning in a bottle - and why watching my entire friend group simultaneously couple up while I navigated complex relational issues sent me into an existential spiral about missing invisible boats.
  2. Setting the container and having THE scary conversation - how I stopped swallowing feelings to avoid looking "too sensitive," ugly-cried through total honesty, and learned that vulnerability won't actually kill you (even when your nervous system disagrees).
  3. When my friends passed in a rafting accident and grief rewired everything - and how loss demolishes your understanding of what actually matters.
  4. The AI creativity binge that nearly broke my brain - what happens when you're alone with no friends, no language skills, and only ChatGPT validating your 47th brand iteration until everything you're obsessed with feels boring and nothing matters anymore (scary AF)
  5. Maturity as staying put instead of booking another escape flight - why I'm extending in Lima, joining local studios, and forcing myself to deal with shit instead of using travel as emotional avoidance (growth! so sexy!).

My 2025 was an invitation to stop performing identities that don't fit me anymore, start saying what I mean, befriending my demons, and contemplating my 200 year plan. Let's spiral together :)

Treat Your Business Like a Dinner Party24 Sep 202500:16:49

Ever notice how we obsess over hitting these insane follower milestones, thinking that's when we'll finally feel legit? Chelsea's fed up with this narrative and breaks down why you don't need massive numbers to create something extraordinary.

Just like you wouldn't throw a dinner party for 100 people and expect intimate conversations, your business thrives when you focus on nurturing smaller, engaged communities first. She shares why learning to hold space for 10 people beats chasing 100 every single time.

Some rules of treating your biz like a dinner party:

  • curate the vibe - playlists, mood, theme
  • set clear expectations with your "invite" (aka your branding and messaging)
  • actually be present for your guests instead of already planning the next occasion

Chelsea shares how this exact approach made her latest Pitch Perfect launch feel effortless and fun, plus why treating your audience like dinner party guests (complete with themed vibes and personalized attention) beats the whole "pray I go viral and sell out my program" marketing approach.

Time to grab some glitter and wax seals for your invites and start planning your own digital dinner party!

Choose Your Player: How to Change Yourself with Different Characters, Archetype Embodiment, Enclothed Cognition, and Affirmations That Actually Work10 May 202300:47:24

193: What’s your favorite video game character? Why? Is it their slick ninja gear? Or their ability to shoot fire out of the palm of their hand? Or that they backflip on command?

Our ability to get lost in video games is largely based on fantasy and escapism - for a fraction of time, we get to be someone else.

But what if you could activate a video game character in real life? What if by simply changing your look, location, or self-talk, you could become the person you’ve always wanted to be… without needing to escape?

In today’s solo episode, Chelsea talks about this concept in-depth, as well as:

  • Archetype embodiment - what it is and how to use it
  • The Hero’s Journey - what it is and how we all go on one
  • How changing your look can change your energy and life - seriously, have you tried going brunette from blonde? Immediate timeline collapse.
  • How different characters allow you to access different parts of yourself and close the gaps in your life - Chelsea shares how her “athlete” character propelled her into a whole new trajectory of health and wellness
  • Affirmations that work for you and how to use them
  • Habit tracking, self-acknowledgement, and gratitude - the Top 3 ingredients to seeing progress

If you’ve felt stuck, uninspired, or just plain old BLAH lately, this episode is for you. It’s time to "Choose Your Fighter".

How to Make Every Day Feel Like Your Birthday04 Apr 202300:34:45

192: How can we make everyday feel like our birthday?

Waking up on your birthday and getting showered with gifts, Facebook Posts, IG Stories shoutouts, texts, and blowing out trick candles usually happens once a year.

But in this solo episode Chelsea discusses ways to elevate the quality of your life and make every day feel like a birthday, 365 days a year.

Birthday energy activation tips:

  • auditing your time on a constant basis
  • building a life around what brings joy and energy, not Instagram joy
  • incorporating small weekly or monthly events that feel exciting
  • focusing on gratitude and self-acknowledgment, and the practice that’s transformed Chelsea’s life
  • the “Gold Coin” game and how it works
  • understanding the importance of intentionally seeking out positivity
  • how to make life feel more colorful and exciting on a regular basis

This type of thinking can transform your relationship to self, and expand your mind to opportunities you didn't even realize existed. Happy birthday TO YOU!

Running A Business as a Reflector, Why I Don’t Care About Making You a Millionaire, and Why I Won’t Be The Next Gary V. (Or Care To Be)13 Mar 202300:55:55

191: Guess who’s back? Back again? Chelsea’s back…tell a friend…

After an accidental hiatus turned perfectionism paralysis, Chelsea is back with a SERMON.

She shares her decision to scale back on content output (specifically on social media) and focus on what feels good and exciting to her, including moving her newsletter to a monthly cadence, and making more space for podcasting (shocker!)

She also drops a controversial statement: she doesn’t care about helping you hit $10k months or scaling to 6 or 7 figures. You’ll have to fast forward to about 20 mins in if you want to know why, and what her ethos is instead.

You’ll also hear how to audit your time and evaluate what works best for you in your business, rather than trying to apply every strategy you learn from every internet guru who has a course.

Chels wraps up with the importance of support, including having a sounding board to bounce ideas off of, someone to call you out on your BS, and the value of astrology and human design in making decisions. Where the Reflectors at?!

Demystifying the World of Podcasting PART 1: How Podcasts Can Help Business, Do Guests Get Paid, Podcast Networks Hard Truths, and How TF Call Her Daddy Inked a $60M Deal with Spotify09 Dec 202200:55:09

186: We all know podcasting blew up in the last 5-10 years.

Huge shows like "Call Her Daddy" penned a $60M deal with Spotify (yes, that's an M for million), "Dirty John" turned into a TV show, and "Serial" is still a cult-fan favorite years later - we're still invested into what happened with Adnan's case.

But what REALLY goes on behind the scenes? Why does it feel like such a mystical world sometimes? Why do some shows take off, and others don't? How do you even get guests - do you have to pay them if they're "bigger" than you?

In this episode, Chelsea shares her years of expertise in the digital media space and podcasting world to uncover some of the biggest question marks, like:

  • How to land guests, even with a small audience
  • How to pitch yourself as a guest, one of the biggest drivers of online visibility
  • All the ways podcasters make money, from brand sponsors to bonus content
  • How podcast networks really work, and the hard truths about joining one
  • How TF Alex Cooper of “Call Her Daddy” landed a $60M deal with Spotify

This is just Part 1. Buckle up because it's going to blow your mind!

How Social Media Affects Our Mental Health, Focus, and Business, Plus Other Ways to Attract Clients Without Instagram, with Johanna Renoth25 Nov 202201:28:44

184: Social media has made it easy for us to not only express ourselves and connect with each other, it’s also helped businesses and brands reach success by going viral. Hi TikTok!

But what happens when our mental health suffers, or we can’t keep up with algorithm changes, or we just plain hate the platforms we’re on? We’d rather poke our eyeballs out than make another Reel pointing to bubbles, yet we get on and draft a video week after week. How can we get off this hamster wheel, or better yet, find alternative solutions to these problems?

In this episode, Chelsea talks to Johanna Renoth, a serial entrepreneur and business advisor, who invites entrepreneurs to reflect on their relationship with social media and encourages them to make choices for not only the betterment of their health but for their business.

On this week’s episode, Chelsea sits down with Johanna to discuss:

  1. How Johanna’s brands Bye Social Media and Log Off Live More developed.
  2. The challenges and downsides of fame and celebrity culture. Why is virality so exciting?
  3. The impact of social media on our mental health and well-being. What kind of media are you consuming on a daily basis?
  4. How to use social media to help your business without burning yourself out.
  5. Instant gratification on social media and how distraction affects business owners.
  6. The importance of having a marketing strategy

.

“You're paying for social media with your mental health, with your ability to focus, with your sanity, with the quality of your sleep, with also the hours and energy you invest that you could probably invest…in other sectors of your business. And I'm not here to tell anyone who's listening to this go off socials entirely, but just reflect: to what extent do I really need to be on there?” - Johanna Renoth

Sustainable Creativity, Doing the Bare Minimum, The Beauty in Subtraction & Taking Unseriousness Very Seriously with Poster Journal19 Sep 202501:03:58

Your favorite creator is BACK - PJ aka Poster Journal returns to spill the tea on why they nuked their entire YouTube channel (listen to Part 1 from last year for the lore), how they went from snark machine to reformed human who actually cares about kindness, and what it's like being creatively pregnant.

We dive deep into sustainable creativity, the exhaustion of being perpetually anti-everything, and why your bare minimum might be your secret weapon. Plus: we find PJ's birth chart (he's a Projector!), discuss why I want to hire him as my life coach, and he presents the radical idea that being unserious is actually the highest form of spirituality.

Some snippets from the convo:

  • "I don't want to be anybody's guru... I'm nobody's teacher."
  • "The trick is to take being unserious very seriously."
  • "I make what I wish existed and I share it with the world. Simplicity is my strength."
  • "Your bare minimum is a lot better than you probably think."
  • "You're a tree, and you're going to keep changing and getting stronger. But you just need to put out fruit."

How Identity Changes Over Time - Transitioning from Corporate Life to Mystical Work with Andi Eaton Alleman of Oui, We18 Nov 202201:02:29

183: When you’re tied to your desk in a corporate office, eyes glued to a MacBook screen, eating a Sweetgreen salad at your desk, and working overtime, (even though no one asked you to), the thought of quitting to start your own business and throw this whole “corporate thing” in the trash sounds dreamy.

But what happens when you leave, and have to shed an old identity? An identity built on accolades, titles, praise, and high salaries? Today, Chelsea sits down with Andi Eaton Alleman to discuss starting your own spiritual business, finding your purpose, shedding an old identity, manifesting the life of your dreams, and more.

Chelsea and Andi discuss:

  1. How Andi transitioned to becoming a Soul Strategist from Corporate America, helping people connect with creativity, tapping deeply into what drives them, and what supports them in their work
  2. Identifying what is it you really want to do in your work? How do you want to support people? What are people's purposes? And what do purposes outside of work look like?
  3. Mystical work, and how it’s actually practical
  4. Shedding old identities and embracing new ones
  5. The influx of manifestation coaching and content during the pandemic, and how Andi approaches manifestation and her work
  6. The importance of building networks, the skill sets you've learned, and how you connect that to what's next for you as you start your own business
  7. Advice to listeners - "Create a life in which you are able to attract in the things that make you feel your best."

“What I was real clear on was that I had something within me that needed to be expressed that was not currently being expressed. I had talents that I had yet to uncover that I was very interested in diving into and really excavating, and that was only going to happen if I shed some of that. And.. I did a lot of shedding.” - Andi Eaton Alleman

How to Focus Better & Finally Get Tasks Done: A Conversation about Procrastination, Productivity, and Entrepreneurship with FocusMate CEO Taylor Jacobson11 Nov 202201:15:28

182: Ever check your to-do list and see small tasks like “send email”, “send gift”, and “pay online bill”, and get EXTREMELY overwhelmed? “How can it be THIS hard?!” you think. Sending an email takes 5 mins! You can send an e-gift! And the online bill is just entering your credit card info. But somehow, you wait until the last minute, when the pressure is on, the timer is counting down, and the credit card company sends a “late payment” notice.

You may be someone who needs accountability to get tasks done. Or a body double. This means you need someone in front of you or next to you to create some natural pressure to complete a task. This is especially helpful if you have ADHD or are neurodivergent. But how do you just find a person to work with you on a Tuesday at 2:30 in the afternoon?

Enter: FocusMate.

On this week’s episode, Chelsea sits down with Taylor, the CEO and Founder of FocusMate, to discuss:

Where did the idea of FocusMate come from?

Getting stuck and how to get yourself unstuck with tangible steps

The importance of having company, even without communication (aka accountability partner)

The pros and cons of working with a buddy while getting your own business done and why is it important to set up structure

The behavioral science and studies around accountability

Starting from the ground up and building the muscles of what you want to do without an expert background

Advice to listeners - "Learning is the most important thing. Do whatever you need to do to know better."

“...I don't know if there's anything as powerful as that to help the nervous system to tell the body really that it is safe. And so, when you get on a Focusmate session, really the first thing that happens is somebody smiling at you and greeting you. And there's just such a warm culture…so that shifts the blood flow back into the brain and optimizes your body for focus and for creative tasks as opposed to survival tasks.” - Taylor Jacobson

Try FocusMate here to 10X your productivity!

How to Make More Money and More Impact Without Burning Out01 Nov 202201:07:20

181: Did you know millennials are the most burned-out generation, with 59% experiencing some symptoms of burnout? And Gen Z burns out much faster than any other generation: they went from 47% to 58% in just a year?!

Recovering from burnout is never easy. But it shouldn’t be that hard as well. Chelsea learns from the burnout recovery expert herself, KC Rossi, on how to get over getting burned out from grinding and hustling hard, while still keeping yourself in the game.

On this week’s episode, Chelsea sits down with KC to discuss:

  1. Steps to recovering from burnout and perfectionism, creating white space in your calendar
  2. The "Do Now, Think Later." kind of attitude in dealing with problems in a business
  3. Choosing long-term partners for long-term business partnerships and how to make sure that the relationship and business partnership would stay intact while finding balance and boundaries in the dynamics
  4. Choosing long-term partners for long-term business partnerships and how to make sure that the relationship and business partnership would stay intact while finding balance and boundaries in the dynamics
  5. What is adrenal fatigue? What are the symptoms? How do you know you have it? How do you know it's going to be a problem?
  6. Having the mindset that success is a long haul
  7. Advice to listeners - "Give yourself so much self-grace and compassion and understand that it's really integrating into your body again and feeling what normal is, what breathing is supposed to be like."

"Neutrality is not gonna come from external circumstances, but what you can control is your own nervous system in the way of what type of coming, balancing, grounding practices do you have in place that you can control, and we can control what's in our own mind, and we have the autonomy to control our own body. So when it comes to those fundamentals of sleep, and movement, are you doing those to attain vitality?" - KC Rossi

Do You REALLY Need a Business Coach? An Honest Discussion with Serine Goodmond31 Aug 202201:36:51

178: Are you someone who regrets investing in a business coach, so much so that it keeps you up at night, and you can’t believe what you paid for? Are you tired of spending your life savings and not getting the results you want for your biz? Is it really on you, or is it because the business coaching industry has a few cracks that need to be sealed, like yesterday?

On this week’s episode, Chelsea sits down with Serine Goodmond to discuss:

  1. “The Big Boom” in the business coaching industry - where did this demand even come from?
  2. Marketing your dollar signs - this is worsening capitalism in the business coaching industry
  3. Issues with business coaches - and the shocking results from Chelsea’s Instagram poll (given by business owners who hired business coaches themselves!)
  4. Personal experiences - what worked out and didn’t. Serine and Chelsea don’t hold back.
  5. Spotting red flags - how to use discernment to avoid being straight up scammed
  6. How clients also play a part in their expectations falling short, and how to speak up for what they really need and want

We're in this American culture where we want things to be fixed instantaneously, you then have all these people who wanna work for themselves tomorrow and they need someone that's gonna help them get there yesterday…I think what we're seeing if we zoom out is that people really need to divest from capitalism as the baseline business structure. There's a huge over emphasis on money and income, and not the actual service that we're providing to our clients.” - Serine Goodmond

Astrology isn't Bullsh*t - It's Self-Help, with Self-Help Witch Dana12 Aug 202201:10:33

177: Are you someone who rolls their eyes when you hear someone talk about astrology, their birth chart, or their “Big 3”? Or maybe it does sound intriguing, but you just don’t get how it works. Is it real, or just total B.S.?

On this week’s episode, Chelsea sits down with Dana from Self-Help Witch, to discuss:

  • Dana’s journey to discovering astrology - it was actually prompted by a weight-loss journey
  • Deep diving into natal charts - what exactly do the houses, planets, and signs mean, and why you need to understand all 3
  • North Node vs. South Node - often overlooked but incredibly insightful placements
  • Different POVs in astrology - Hellenistic, Whole Sign Houses, and more
  • How to use astrology in your life and the magic of your birth chart

“What can happen when you're reflecting on your placements is you recognize how much potential you have, and that's really what self-help work is all about. It's about recognizing how expansive you can become and how you can offer that to the world.” - Dana, Self-Help Witch

The Art of Strategic Disruption and Why Travel Might Be the Best Business Coach You’ve Ever Had with Edila Smith12 Sep 202501:03:03

Ever notice how your most profound realizations happen when you're completely out of your element? In this episode, Chelsea sits down with Edila Smith (in-person in Lisbon!) to explore why disrupting your environment might be the fastest way to disrupt unconscious patterns that are running your life. From the reality of working while traveling to building a business that feels like home, this conversation reveals why most of us are sleepwalking through carefully constructed routines without questioning if they actually serve us.

Episode themes:

  • Why "perfect" morning routines can become creativity killers and how to build adaptive systems instead
  • The reality check on laptop lifestyle myths (spoiler: working by the pool actually sucks!!!)
  • How environment disruption strips away familiar identities and forces growth
  • Why dropping your "professional mask" makes people want to invest in you
  • Micro-disruptions you can try without booking a flight
  • Why it might be time to throw the journal out
  • Use life as your mood board
  • The case for having way more fun in business and life (and both Chelsea and Edila share their unhinged wishes for having more fun)

This episode is for those who feel stuck in routines that no longer serve them, entrepreneurs tired of performing "professionalism," and anyone curious about using environment disruption as a tool for conscious living.

PSA: It's Okay to Grow Slow & The Problem with Fame15 Jul 202201:02:17

173: We need to talk ASAP. The obsession with scaling into outer space, hit 100k followers, get a blue check mark, and become a millionaire in our first year of business is hurting our mental health, well-being, relationships, and enjoyment of life.

In this solo episode, Chelsea breaks down why growing slow is actually the key to a sustainable, healthy business and lifestyle, and how the pursuit of fame is a faulty goal.

What to expect in this episode:

  • How a mental breakdown prompted this episode
  • Her own mistakes with trying to grow at breakneck speed
  • The problem with blind comparison
  • How the pursuit of fame is a backward goal
  • The wheel of life and knowing where you are
  • Influencer culture and why being an influencer shouldn't be a long-term goal
  • Transferable skills and why these are so important
  • Re-prioritizing goals and slowing down

Being Skeptical & Spiritual, Building Magical Communities, & Getting Over the Fear of Being Seen/Cancelled with Holisticism’s Michelle Pellizzon-Lipsitz and Wallis Millar-Blanchaer03 Jun 202201:07:18

170: As some of you may remember, Michelle was previously a guest on the show on Episode 56 back in 2018, where she talked about Holisticism

This time, Wallis, Head of Content at the company, joins us, and we catch up on Holisticism’s incredible growth, their magical community, and deep dive into topics like the fear of looking “too smart”, being scared to fail publicly, and if science and spirituality can co-exist.

We also chat about:

  • Holisticism’s meaning
  • Hiring without wanting to throw up
  • Building a community of superfans
  • Archetypal journeys (including the one we see often today - adored influencer to cancelled)
  • fear of being seen AND smart (many refer to this as “The Witch Wound”)
  • Cashing in for your content (there are more ways than landing brand deals)
  • Containing multitudes and being okay with being nerdy, into pop culture, gossip, and quantum physcis
  • Owning your intellect - you ARE a genius. It’s okay to show it.
  • Meaning making systems - like… is astrology real?

Why reality TV is the best communications teacher23 May 202200:49:20

169: Sam and Juliette from Siesta Key teach me more about communication than my Bachelor's Degree in the same field. Shep from Southern Charm shows me how using high-level vocabulary is a way to exert dominance in a conversation, but he does so in the douchiest way possible.

Why am I referencing reality TV? Because it taught me SO MUCH about non-verbal and verbal cues, making connections, and resolving conflict - all components of strong communication.

When you know how to communicate effectively, you've scored the golden ticket to life.

Communication skills will help you:

  • Meet strangers while traveling (imagine clinking glasses of sangria after a random cooking class and then grabbing drinks later - I'll tell you the story of this happening to me!)
  • Date confidently (the world is opening up and IRL dates are back - communication is key)
  • Negotiate your salary like a San Fransisco tech bro (aka get paid without questioning your skill set)
  • Resolving a conflict with a family member (I share how blowing up on a sibling via text was not my finest moment)
  • Interviewing someone for your show (a skill that transcends the airwaves - this will get you VERY far in life. I share specific examples)

If you're hoping to learn the skill of communicating, Interview & Hosting Lab is for you. Join us right HERE.

How to stop putting people on pedestals13 May 202200:40:08

168: Influencers, celebs and mega coaches are often treated as mythical Gods. We think they’re untouchable, immune to the suffering life brings, and have zero worries in the world.

We think they don’t deal with the “everyday” things we do — paying an extra $25 on DoorDash for a 14 inch pizza that costs $18 or feeling insecure when their crush ghosts them on Date 3.

When we put them on pedestals, we dehumanize them. In the same vein, we make ourselves small. The automatic comparison and projection prompts self-doubt, imposter syndrome, and keeps us stuck in a constant cycle of feeling inspired, then comparing, sabotaging or worse, staying stuck and never trying at all.

In today’s solo ep, Chelsea deep dives into this concept. Why do we put so much weight into social following? Why are we so quick to take IG photos as truth? Why don’t we use more discernment when making snap judgments?

She also shares ways to take people off of pedestals so you can finally get out there and shoot your shot. Pitch that host. Message your fave mentor to come on your podcast. Land a dream guest interview.

Your stories matter.

If you’re interested in learning more about these mindset strategies, especially as it comes to creating and conversing with other people, you’ll love Interview & Hosting Lab. It’s a 2 hour workshop all about the art & science of storytelling and hosting jaw-dropping interviews.

You can learn more and register right here.

How to strengthen your intuition by traveling & travel stories feat. Karen Maloney06 May 202201:14:14

167: We all have intuition. That deeper knowing. That feeling you can’t explain. It usually comes to us in moments of stillness.

In today’s world, stillness is... practically non-existent. We’re too busy to meditate. Too tired to journal. Too impatient to do breath-work. Not to mention, absolutely inundated with content, opinions, news, and requests.

Connecting with our intuition and making space for our thoughts feels like a pipe-dream sometimes. However, there is one way to develop it that’s maybe more... fun. And that’s travel!

In today’s episode, Chelsea sits down with Karen Maloney, an INSIDE OUT Coach, Silent Counseling Practitioner & Energy Therapist. She is also the Founder & Host of the Curiosity & Consciousness podcast.

What to expect in today’s episode:

  1. Mental obstacles when living a nomadic life
  2. How to make money while traveling
  3. What traveling taught her
  4. Accommodation and environment and the role they play
  5. Things she missed on her travels (you’ll learn about Irish Craic)
  6. How she became a coach
  7. What an Inside Out coach is
  8. Easy ways to work on your subconscious

Is money mindset and manifestation making you broke? with Chioma Njoku (The Mindful Bookkeeper)22 Apr 202201:17:02

165: I know you read the title of this episode, thinking "WTF - is Chelsea okay??? Money mindset work changed my life"!

Confession: it changed mine too. But it wasn’t until I worked with today’s guest, Chioma Njoku, aka The Mindful Bookkeeper, that I saw real change.

Why? She held me accountable in different ways other coaches never had. She called me on my BS. She noticed how patterns I carried in my personal life spilled over to my bank accounts.

Without her, I wouldn’t have gotten my financial shit together. And it’s why she’s making another appearance on this podcast to deliver her No B.S. view on money mindset, manifestation, marketing with your numbers, and how certain metrics actually aren't all cracked up to what they aim to be.

If you love her approach, you’re going to love her podcast, Cheers to Your Prosperity, where she shares content like “11 ways to grow your bank account without selling more” or how you can still have your daily coffee and still get rich!

Caution: this episode may open your mind to new perspectives.

About Chioma: Chioma Njoku, also known as Chi (pronounced chee), is the owner and Chief Mindful Operator at the Mindful Bookkeeper. Drawing on her experiences as a yogi, accountant, and financial coach, she helps business owners become mindful of all that can influence and impact their finances. With mindfulness (awareness), business owners are better equipped to keep more of their hard-earned money in the bank without sacrificing the things that makes life enjoyable, such as coffee and dinners with friends.

Is it possible to run a successful business without social media? Amelia Hruby says it is15 Apr 202201:17:05

164: Instagram is giving Gen Z the ick (read more here).

It seems like Amelia Hruby, writer, speaker & founder of feminist podcast studio Softer Sounds, has something in common with Gen Z - she’s no longer on Instagram. At least not for business.

Amelia realized IG was not in line with her values, and definitely NOT the way she wanted to run her business.

So she launched Softer Sounds, a feminist podcast studio, with zero social media presence.

How? Tune in to find out!

You’ll hear why she got off social, how she finds clients, how she continues to stay off, the exit plan she recommends if you want to get off IG too, and ways to sustain your biz without the ‘gram.

Why Your Body Keeps Sabotaging Your Success (And How to Finally Work WITH It) with Shantani Moore27 Aug 202501:03:51

If you've ever bulldozed through your day on black coffee and determination, ignoring every signal your body sends until you're bent over crippling in a parking garage (literally, in Shantani's case) — this episode is your wake-up call. Chelsea chats with Body Intelligence Coach Shantani Moore about where we learned to ignore our body, why "fine" is the enemy of extraordinary, and how capitalism trained us to ask permission to pee (WTF).

Episode themes:

  • Body intelligence vs. wellness overwhelm — Moving from tracking every metric to asking "what does my body actually need?"
  • The utility principle — Training your body for life, not likes (and how Earth is your gym!!)
  • Environment as everything — Why your nervous system picks up 11 million bits of information per second and why black-box gyms feel like a sad mess of Armani Exchange and broken dreams
  • Sleep as non-negotiable — The two-hour cortisol spike rule that changes everything
  • Decolonizing wellness — How to interrupt capitalist programming one habit stack at a time
  • The "so I can what?" framework — The question that separates aligned action from performative productivity

Final reminder: Your body wasn't made for other people to look at — it was made for you to live an extraordinary life. Shantani reminds us that listening to your body isn't luxury, it's leadership.

Sabbatical Scene Report: Puerto Rico 19 Aug 202500:40:38

The next stop on the sabbatical train: PUERTO RICOOOO!

Chelsea takes us along for the ride through the island:

  • family reunions the size of small weddings
  • the beauty and chaos of island time
  • the night that led to one violent hangover (!!)
  • releasing the grip on making plans for the fam
  • the surprising ways reconnecting with her Latina roots shifted how she wants to show up in life and business (yes, that means big gold hoops are coming back)
  • feeling the Puerto Rican Pride between the Bad Bunny concert kickoff and watching a Latino couple win Love Island while in PR

Other snippets:

  • Why the sabbatical is likely extending for one more month
  • Island time lessons and releasing control
  • Sobriety slip-ups, and why self-awareness matters more than perfection
  • Cultural permission to be “too much”
  • Balancing group travel chaos with non-negotiable hermit time
  • Some fun Puerto Rican traditions you may have never heard of before!

Chelsea left Puerto Rico with a tan, and a mission to reconnect with her Latina side: hello arroz con habichuelas, gold hoops, and extremely animated, expressive, affectionate ways to connect!
