  • Is it possible to cure anxiety and panic attack without medication, just using different techniques
  • What do you think of Toxic Positivity
  • What are the best ways to stay mentally strong during crisis
  • How to reframe your negative thoughts

Guest

Amy Morin @amymorinauthor

I started my career as a psychotherapist thinking I’d use what I’d learned in college to teach people how to be mentally strong. I never imagined how much I was going to need to build my own mental muscles. When I was 23, my mother passed away. When I was 26, my husband passed away. Losing the two most important people in my life made my interest in mental strength personal. With a broken heart, I began studying people. I wanted to know why some people felt stuck after they went through hard times and why other people emerged from hardship feeling stronger than ever. As I studied mental strength, I realized that mentally strong people didn’t just have good habits. They also avoided any unhealthy habits that could hold them back. In 2013, during one of my lowest points in my life, I wrote a letter to myself about all the things mentally strong people don’t do. When I was done, I had a list of 13 things that could rob me of mental strength if I let them. I found comfort in reading that letter. So a few days later, I published it online. I hoped someone else might find it helpful too. I never imagined it would resonate with so many people—but that letter was read by more than 50 million people. Within a matter of days, a literary agent called and suggested I write a book. And my life has never been the same.

Tina Anderson - is the cofounder of @justthrivehealth JustThrive Probiotics & Antioxidants. https://justthrivehealth.com/collections/probiotics

Meet the Just Thrive® team: Billy and Tina Anderson! Billy and Tina have been involved in bringing health to the lives of others for many years…so the launch of Just Thrive® Probiotic was a natural progression into a field they have always been passionate about.

Just Thrive® is the only probiotic available comprised of four (4) key strains of nature’s own design for a true probiotic. The bacillus strains found in Just Thrive® are abundant environmental organisms that have evolved to be consumed by humans on a daily basis and then thrive in the digestive systems. Once there, they perform critical functions, such as the development of the immune system; reduction of inflammation; digestion and absorption of nutrients from food, and the production of important functional compounds, like antioxidants. America’s Next Top Model, Seen On Shark Tank - Fighting For Justice - Meet Lisa D’Amato02 Mar 202100:38:54

In this episode, my guest, Lisa D'Amato and I discussing very sensitive topics.

Talking Points:

  • How did you get on America's Next Top Model?
  • What was your biggest challenge?
  • If you’re comfortable sharing it, how did Tyra Banks used your childhood trauma against you?
  • It’s been bothering you after the show, how did you decide to finally confront her and post the video? Did Tyra provide any explanation
  • How did you come up with such a clever idea for Dare U Go
  • What helped you to get on Shark Tank
  • How was your experience?
  • What lessons have you learned from being on ST
  • How did you decide to learn pole dancing and use it for education

Guest

Lisa D'Amado @lisa_damato  wife and mother of two boys. She was born and raised in Thousand Oaks & Los Angeles, CA. Lisa has been modeling and acting since the early age of 12. She has starred in commercials for GAP, H&M, and Coca-Cola before America's Next Top Model Cycle 5. During her cycle she was coined the phrase "Wild Child" where her image was fun but got distorted drastically. it has repeated consistently to this day even 15 yrs later all over American Television and internationally-being syndicated in over 180 countries. Like many of the other selected 336 contestants that competed on America's Next Top Model, Lisa has a similar story of many of the girls that were mentally manipulated by their childhood trauma during filming. Despite the consistent echo chamber of slander to her character and to say it  jeopardized her public image drastically would an understatement. She still managed to take full advantage of the reality TV therapy shows like Celeb Rehab with Dr. Drew where she admits she went on the show for much needed therapy. She knew she needed therapy from childhood trauma AND for possible drug addiction prevention.

From there it went down hill with even more vicious headlines due to the stigma of "therapy" and "drug addiction" and "rehab" associated her name in the press. She was never detoxing for anything. Fact, case and point.

Switching gears, Lisa focused on her music. She went on to record 3 albums and tour the USA with her album "LA Puchinetta. With Club's Top 20 Hit list "Trainwreck", and "Ace of Spades". The "Can't Touch It" electro- rap singer landed her song on the opening of the hit show "Entourage". She soon fell in love with now husband Adam Friedman. Shortly after, ANTM came knocking at her door to compete in America's Next Top Model All-Stars.  She later won a "very controversial" finale against finalist Angelea Preston.

Lisa and her husband landed on We Network's "Marriage Bootcamp Reality Stars" and soon after that Bravo's "Interior Therapy" with Jeff Lewis. Lisa and husband have two beautiful boys Daxel, 7 and Venice, 4.

She has last been seen on NBC's Shark Tank as the inventor and Ceo of Dare-U-Go!, Lisa landed a deal with Barbara Corcoran. Dare-U-Go! is a 5-in-1 solution to help parents feed their kids! It's a food grade silicone bib, food catcher, air-tight seal food storage unit, divider bowl, and comes with a spork that slides through the back. It's eco-friendly, kids love it and you'll love it even more when applied to your life. Super helpful. That's probably why it's in 21 countries in a little less than 3 years. During quarantine, you can find her on her IG teaching herself pole dancing with her sons. Yep you heard that right. She is learning pole dancing and her little boys as they are becoming pros at it too. "It's pole fitness"  she says. Her and her boys are having family fun. She has also gotten political with her researched pole dancing videos that are based around specific topics like "Why do all Republicans have high SDO scores?" Even hitting heavy topics like Climate Change.

Guest

Gala Darling @galadarling

I'm Gala Darling, a New Zealander living in beautiful Los Angeles. When people ask what I do, I used to tell them I was a self-help author. But really, I help women tap into their inner bad bitch through my books, courses, and tapping routines. I know that you have a secret supernova inside, and I want you to unleash it!

Fifteen years ago, my life was in shambles due to depression and an eating disorder. After I healed myself using tapping(also known as EFT), I made it my mission to inspire women to be whoever they truly want to be, and start their own revolution! It’s my honor to have helped thousands of women break through their bullshit and boss the fuck up.

While I’m teaching babes how to master their mindset, manifest the life of their dreams, and love themselves all day long, my greatest thrill is in doing things differently. You won’t catch me renouncing all worldly possessions in the name of spirituality! It’s much more likely you’ll catch me in a bedazzled catsuit, wearing platform heels, getting a tattoo of something I’m about to manifest, while laughing WAY too hard.

On the professional side, I’m proud of what I’ve done. My TEDTalk has been viewed a quarter of a million times (and it was my first time speaking in public!). My first book, Radical Self-Love: A Guide To Loving Yourself And Living Your Dreams (2016) became an instant bestseller at #1 in its category, was snapped up by Hay House, and has been translated into five languages (and counting!). My other books, Radical Radiance: How To Make Love To The Universe And Manifest Anything, and Hologram Heart: A Radiant Guide To The Romantic Revolution, completely change the lives of the babes who read them.

And accolades? I’ve got ‘em! I’ve been featured everywhere from Vogue to the New York Times, and that's cool and everything, but nothing compares to meeting a woman on the street who has been inspired to totally transform their life because of my work. It’s literally my favorite thing on the planet.

ENERGYbits - How Spirulina Algae Can Help You Build a Strong Immune System and Helps Stop Growth Of Viruses Including COVID-19 - Meet The Founder Cath...14 Dec 202001:06:05

Talking Points:

  • story behind ENERGYbits brand
  • what makes ENERGYbits so unique
  • health benefits of Spirulina and Chlorela Algae
  • how Algae helps to stop COVID-19 and how it supports our Immune System
  • 4 types of ENERGYbits: EnergyBits, RecoveryBits, BeautyBits, VitalityBits
  • how long are you suppose to take ENERGYbits to see the best results

*FOR 20% OFF use promo code NBB at checkout https://www.energybits.com

My Guest

Catharine Arnston is the Founder and CEO of @energybits   an expert in algae nutrition, a wellness thought leader, an experienced entrepreneur, and sought after speaker. She has an MBA, BA Hons and is Board Certified Health Coach.

As seen on CBS, NBS, Shark Tank, Shape, Fox News, etc.

Catharine started ENERGYbits after her sister was diagnosed with breast cancer and advised by her oncologist that an alkaline diet would help her heal. Catharine immediately sprung into action to help her sister research alkaline foods and in the process she discovered algae. When Catharine learned that algae was the most alkaline, plant-based, nutrient-dense food in the world and had been used for fifty years in Asia to improve health and longevity, she knew she had discovered something big (and yes, her sister fully recovered - thanks for asking).

As Catharine dug into the science of algae, she learned it had 64% protein, 40 vitamins/minerals and was endorsed by the United Nations and NASA as the most nutrient dense food in the world. She also discovered there were 100,000 studies documenting its long list of benefits and it was the most sustainable, eco-friendly food crop in the world. And yet algae remained virtually unknown outside of Asia. How could this be possible? Catharine knew algae could be a game changer for our health, our children and our world if she could only convince people it wasn't weird. And so ENERGYbits was born.

It took Catharine ten years to bring algae into the mainstream and build ENERGYbits into a national company. We're glad she finally did, because now you and your family can benefit from our naturally grown, toxin-free, Non-GMO algae tablets too. A handful will help satisfy your hunger, help give you steady energy, and help ensure your nutritional needs are met. All this from a food that has one ingredient, no chemicals, caffeine, sugar or processing and is the most sustainable, safe, eco-friendly, crop in the world - algae. Your body and Mother Earth say thank you. And we do too.

This Naked Mind & Alcohol Experiment - Approach That Helps Where Rehabs Have Not - Meet Annie Grace10 Dec 202000:33:57

In this episode, my guest, Annie Grace and I will be discussing a special approach that Annie offers that helps with alcohol addiction, where rehabs have not.

Talking points:

  • how is Annie's approach different from rehabs
  • how alcohol affects our brain
  • where is the fine line between social drinking and seeking help
  • when is the best time to change drinking habits
  • how to break drinking cycle
  • pandemic drinking: how to drink less
  • the best tips for taking a break from booze
  • the best ways to cope with drinking partner
  • how to moderate drinking

My Guest

Annie Grace @thisnakedmind

At 26, Annie Grace was the youngest Vice President in a multinational company’s history, and her drinking career began in earnest; by 35, she was in a global C-level marketing role, responsible for 28 countries. Drinking close to two bottles of wine a night became a ritual. Annie Grace’s professional success came at a personal price she no longer wanted to pay. She knew alcohol was no longer serving her. Yet, she didn’t want to suffer through life in a daily battle for sobriety, feeling deprived and constantly trying to avoid temptation.

Annie Grace revamped her own relationship with alcohol — she stripped it of its power and changed her beliefs about booze being a reward — and today she helps others across the globe do the same. Her approach helps people where rehabs have not. She’s created a brand new way to look at the role of alcohol in our lives, establishing a safe space for those who question their drinking but haven’t self-diagnosed as alcoholics stuck in denial of an incurable disease. Annie Grace preaches compassion, knowing its power over shame and blame is the best way to achieve lasting change. And, she offers a proven alternative to the largely ineffective recipe for so-called “success”—the one that says anything less than 100% abstinence is failure. Annie Grace doesn’t teach people how to be sober; she helps them quash their desire to drink in the first place.
