Yacht Rock.  What do those 2 words really represent?  For some, they conjure visions of moms & dads, wearing cheap captain’s hats and Hawaiian shirts, drunk and swaying to a live cover of Cool Change,.  For others, it might mean listening to “dad rock” while being carpooled to a soccer game.  For HP, and for many others, it means something more.  But how deeply can we analyze a blatantly arbitrary genre label?  Arbitrary even by the very minds that originally coined the term.

Few things can tap into our most base and primal urges quite like music. I'm talking pure, Grade AA, id fuel, baby. The right song can enhance the best and even middling, writhing, wriggling, and undulating dance. Imagine the visual image of all of your carnal fantasies moving to the beat of a song most delectable, seductive, and pray tell even raunchy.

But, what if this infamous Salome had scabies? While she was shuckin' and jivin' in Nisquick, Alabama as the uterus drying tones of Mary McGregor's Tour Between Two Lovers plays? This is the unholy ground we are visiting tonight here on Noise Junkies. It's Strip Club from Hell time.
