| Episode 25 - Unlocking Potential: From Hypnotherapy to NLP | 01 Sep 2026 | 00:58:53 | |
Live Q&A: NLP Training Tasters, Zoom Inclusion, Stroke Recovery & Anxiety Tools A live-streamed Q&A features the host on holiday in Scotland with team member Tanya Bunting, who reports on Steve being in London with Paul McKenna and Alessandro Moira running a “Change Your Life in Seven Days” seminar and successfully including virtual Zoom attendees. They answer questions about marketing an NLP Practitioner course, recommending longer tasters than one hour, charging rather than offering free intros, tailoring content to the audience (especially businesspeople), and “over-delivering” to create customer astonishment. They discuss supporting stroke recovery with positive language and daily 7-11 breathing, troubleshooting when breathing “causes anxiety,” and addressing panic/fight-or-flight through regular practice. Other topics include working with children via storytelling and NLP techniques, exploring secondary gain in symptoms, being appropriately authoritative with clients, and handling dissociation and trauma, including concerns about reassociation, swish patterns, and timeline-style approaches. 00:00 Going Live Glitches

They also announce a September 22 masterclass led by Tina on using hypnosis and NLP to support fertility and infertility, sharing IVF experiences and a case where relaxation led to natural conception. In Q&A, they advise on working with someone who escaped a cult by clarifying outcomes and addressing beliefs, assess stop-smoking readiness through language and commitment, recommend simplifying admin with templates and basic processes ahead of economic uncertainty, explain how to anchor effectively on Zoom, caution against removing pain signals for osteoarthritis while using visualization and safe adjustments, and outline approaches to tics/Tourette’s by reducing stress and building conscious control. 00:00 Live Welcome and Weather
| Episode 23 - Unlocking NLP: From Trainers' Tales to Transformative Techniques | 01 Jul 2026 | 01:10:27 | |
Nested Loops, Edutainment & Scaling Your Practice (Plus Hypnotic Fertility Masterclass) Two hosts reconnect after technical issues, with Tina joining from Florida during an NLP trainers’ training with Richard Bandler and team, where participants are practicing nested loops and anchoring. They discuss how nested loops and metaphors embed learning, share examples from Eddie Izzard and Bandler’s teaching style, and suggest a future masterclass on the topic. Tina previews an upcoming masterclass on hypnotic fertility, sharing a past case and her strategy for supporting unexplained fertility and medical interventions, with dates to be confirmed around 22 September. They promote newsletters, trainings, the Secret Agents of Change membership (monthly skills and business sessions, recordings, CPD points), and an affiliate program opening 1 August. Q&A covers making presentations fun via “edutainment,” scaling with group coaching and clear economics, pricing without mind-reading demographics, managing incongruent client goals in affairs/addictions through deeper diagnostics, and approaches to parenting change work. 00:00 Tech Issues and Hello
| Episode 22 - Harnessing Prosperity: A Journey through NLP and Universal Laws | 01 Jun 2026 | 01:07:15 | |
Business Alchemy Retreat, Membership Updates & NLP Tools to Handle News Stress | Steve Crabb & Tina Taylor Steve Crabb and Tina Taylor discuss a UK heat wave, share updates on their July 1–3 Glastonbury Business Alchemy retreat at Chalice Well (with limited places), and describe outcomes from their Prosperity Mission, including a past student increasing dog-training income to over £1,000 per month. They address hesitation and scarcity mindset around investing in change, invite viewers to join their newsletter and Student Dojo at nlp-masterclass.co.uk, and clarify the difference between the free Student Dojo and the paid Secret Agents of Change membership for coaches, therapists, and consultants, reopening this weekend. They promote next week’s quarterly Zoom masterclass with Kay introducing the Happy Brain Model and explain access via a promo code for members. In the Q&A, they offer strategies to reduce negative media impact (remove triggers, disassociate, use humor, examine underlying needs), advise on six-step reframing without requiring conscious solutions, discuss book-leveraging via market research and reviews, suggest options for renting therapy rooms, and outline an approach to staff wellbeing consulting using confidential HSE-style audits, before/after measurement, and monetizing absenteeism and presenteeism. 00:00 Weather Banter Opener
| Episode 21 - "Reframing Mastery: Turning Limitations into Strengths" | 01 May 2026 | 01:14:22 | |
Reframing Mastery Practice Group: Suggestion in Trance, Limiting Beliefs & Humorous Reframes (Steve Crabb & Tina Taylor) Steve Crabb and Tina Taylor host a live practice group focused on reframing mastery, beginning with global attendee check-ins and Steve’s upcoming trip to Crete amid an earthquake and tsunami warning used as a warm-up reframe. Steve asks, “What is the purpose of suggestion in trance?” and frames it as bypassing conscious limitations to evoke potential and create better mental maps, citing Erickson’s view of suggestibility as receiving impulses and the mind’s idio-plastic ability to change. He guides an ecological reframing exercise: identify a limiting belief, trace its origins and positive intention, uncover secondary gains, consider future costs, and generate alternative perspectives and options (requisite variety). Tina then teaches reframing with humor and respectful teasing, shares examples (including charging for “tea and biscuits,” smoking/weight-loss reframes, and a spider phobia breakthrough), and participants practice in small groups, reporting insights and shifts afterward. 00:00 Welcome and Roll Call
| Episode 20 - Navigating Change: From Everyday Phobias to Life Transformations | 01 Apr 2026 | 01:07:49 | |
Live Q&A: Supporting LGBTQ+ Clients, Marketing Your Change Work, Networking ROI, Hypnobirthing vs Painless Childbirth & Phobia Breakthroughs Steve and Tina host a live-streamed Q&A and share updates from their day-to-day lives before answering emailed questions, mainly from their Secret Agents Change membership. The month’s theme is relationships and gender, based on an interview Tina held with Gloria Hammett and trans woman Dr. Wendy Peters about how NLP coaches and hypnotherapists can best support trans and LGBTQ+ clients, emphasizing confidence, self-esteem, handling bullying, and avoiding imposing the practitioner’s map while listening for modal operators and influences from family and peers. They discuss young people identifying as trans, the possibility of body dysmorphia in some cases, and the importance of sticking to NLP change processes, well-formed outcomes, and ecology checks. They address marketing and referrals: many people don’t understand NLP/hypnosis and may avoid “mental health” language due to stigma, so practitioners should focus messaging on client benefits, demonstrate change work rather than explain it, and double down on what already produces referrals. They answer a case-related question about supporting a Muslim client navigating cultural identity, arranged marriage/divorce, and relationship expectations, again highlighting process-based coaching, clean questioning, logical levels, and ecology. Steve shares mixed experiences with formal paid networking groups—some low return and overly sales-driven, others collaborative and effective—stressing the value of presenting and giving audiences a “wow” demo, including a standout LinkedIn entrepreneurs event that led to significant work and a Sky TV opportunity. Tina answers questions about her painless childbirth work, noting her book is now available in French, differentiating her NLP/hypnotherapy-based approach from the Hypnobirthing franchise’s scripted model, and explaining how she positions her offer. They also discuss transitioning from employment to self-employment, exploring security values, readiness, and business skills, with Tina sharing how she left a banking role and scaled rates. Finally, they cover a claustrophobia case where progress is made but the young client isn’t following instructions, linking resistance to secondary gain and missed ecology issues, and preview a fears/phobias demo in an upcoming practitioner training. They close by promoting upcoming trainings and a three-day Business Alchemy event in Glastonbury with planned activities at Chalice Well. 00:00 Going Live Setup 01:10 Sunshine Small Talk 01:46 Tina’s Turkey Tale 03:18 Teenage Grandsons Update 05:19 Eurovision Banter 06:05 Membership Q&A Intro 06:57 Coaching Gender Issues 11:15 Don’t Impose Your Map 13:42 Youth Transition Stories 20:30 Marketing Pitch Advice 27:27 Culture Identity in Relationships 33:17 Networking Reciprocity Question 34:20 Networking Mixed Results 37:07 Best Groups Demonstrate 37:40 Speaker Wow Moments 40:15 Breakfast Clubs Authority 44:25 Niche Versus Franchise 50:34 Differentiate Your Offer 53:16 Quitting Job Security 57:42 Phobia Client Compliance 01:02:47 Ecology Checks Upfront 01:05:24 Wrap Up And Events
| Episode 19 - From Helplessness to Healing: Strategies for Effective Coaching | 01 Mar 2026 | 01:01:55 | |
From Helplessness to Healing: Strategies for Effective Coaching Steve and Tina go live to answer audience questions about coaching, therapy, and building a practice. They discuss giving clients “hope” as a way to create a crack in learned helplessness, focusing less on semantics and more on getting clients curious, playful, and willing to try something different, including occasional provocative approaches. They share examples of rapid change work, including a client who stopped drinking after a session, and how stage fright can be addressed using anchors, submodalities, and deep trance identification (DTI), with stories involving rock musicians and actors. They explain handling clients who bring a long list of issues by prioritizing, looking for connected root issues, and aiming for quick wins while setting realistic expectations about session length. Business and marketing topics include generating more inquiries through structured referral strategies, using a collaborative sales conversation process to prevent end-of-call objections (including ensuring decision-makers are present), and challenges of selling workplace wellbeing services in the UK, emphasizing ROI and supporting mental health first aiders/champions. They also cover working with children’s limited diets by training parents, and hoarding by identifying counterexamples and strategies without starting with home visits. The episode closes with updates on upcoming books, travel and trainings, a Mindvalley hypnosis course recording in Estonia, a webinar on hypnotic anesthesia from Italy, and invitations to a July Business Alchemy retreat in Glastonbury and an upcoming London practitioner training. 00:00 Going Live Banter 01:16 Updates Books Travel Courses 04:03 Client Hope Learned Helplessness 12:13 Provocative Hope Reframe 13:58 Stage Fright Anchors DTI 20:23 Actors Anxiety Role Switching 26:24 Getting More Client Inquiries 28:50 Selling Without Fear 29:06 Collaborative Conversation Framework 30:52 Decision Maker Commitment Question 31:42 Handling Objections Through Process 34:13 Kids Food Issues Train Parents 38:47 Hoarding Cases Avoid Home Visits 44:01 Workplace Wellbeing Pitching ROI 53:22 Choosing What To Treat First 59:42 Wrap Up Events And Goodbye

| Episode 10 - Wellformed Outcomes | Imposter Syndrome | NLP, NHR and DHE Comparison | 18 Jan 2025 | 00:59:08 | |
Welcome to the NLP MasterClass podcast, episode 10. In this episode, we're exploring three powerful themes that emerged from a recent NLP MasterCLASS Practice Group Q&A session. First, we'll dive into well-formed outcomes - the four essential conditions that create lasting change. We'll look at how stating goals positively, having the right resources, making outcomes testable through all senses, and ensuring ecological alignment work together to transform our clients' results. Next, we'll tackle the increasingly common challenge of imposter syndrome, especially relevant since the shift to online work. You'll hear a personal story from my visit to Michael Neal's house that changed my perspective on launching programs, and we'll explore how to transform self-doubt from a barrier into a catalyst for growth. Finally, we'll break down the synergy between three powerful methodologies: NLP, NHR, and DHE. I'll share my unique "Venn diagram" approach to combining these methods for maximum impact in your practice. We'll also explore some fascinating case studies, including one where well-formed outcome conditions revealed crucial insights that completely shifted the direction of therapy. So whether you're an NLP practitioner, coach, therapist, or change work professional, this episode will give you practical tools to enhance your practice and create more powerful results for your clients.
| Episode 9 - Looking at things from anothers perspective - Perceptual Positions | 08 Sep 2020 | 00:11:39 | |
Title: Looking at things from another’s perspective By using perceptual positioning you can explore an event from a different perspective, this process enables you to step back from your own mental map and get a distance from any emotions attached to it. You can also use it to explore another’s map, gaining an insight into their thought processes. When you use the third position you can review a meeting/situation to gain insight into what happened, looking at it as onlooker. This is also a great position for becoming your own coach.

| Episode 6 - Changing the thought process | 13 Jul 2020 | 00:10:04 | |
Have you noticed that by changing the way that you frame an experience or a thought changes how it feels? This process is called reframing in NLP.
This reframing is a psychological technique that consists of identifying and then changing the way situations, experiences, events, ideas, and/or emotions are viewed.
You begin by identifying the behaviour or trait and then reframe it by pointing out any possible positive intentions. Finding an alternative meaning, this can then be followed by resolving any conflict as necessary.
