Joe and Chrissy go way back, and throughout the episode you can see just how tight-knit the community up here really is. We talk about their journeys so far the highs, the lows, the setbacks, the big moments and everything in between.

Joe Laws breaks down what it really takes to become a professional boxer, from starting out at Birtley Boxing Club, experiencing different gyms and environments, working his way into the professional ranks and everything that’s happened throughout his career since.

We also look ahead to September 12th, when Joe faces Harley Benn at the Utilita Arena in Newcastle. Joe talks us through the fight, his preparation and exactly how he sees himself getting the job done.

Chrissy Lowdon opens up about his own boxing journey and explains why now is the right time to turn professional. News on Chrissy’s professional debut will be coming shortly, so keep an eye out.

It was class catching up with the lads and hearing the stories behind their journeys. This was one I really enjoyed hosting, and I’m looking forward to seeing Joe go out there and do the business on September 12th.
