Why do Amines cause Migraines? 04 Dec 202400:31:22

We see many clients in our clinics struggling with the debilitating effects of migraines, who respond well to our Positive Association Technique (PAT), by helping relieve their individual food reactions.

One particularly common food reaction we see is to naturally occurring amines. So, why do amines cause migraines?

Many healthy foods we eat contain amines, where they can absorbed across the gut wall, enter the blood stream and impact various chemical processes in our body, including in the brains of migraine sufferers.

In this episode, PAT Expert Naturopath Jenny explains the underlying mechanisms of migraines, the triggers that contribute and how PAT can be beneficial for migraine sufferers.

Gluten Sensitivity; it's a real thing! 03 Jun 202400:34:07

Do you notice that you experience uncomfortable gluten sensitivity symptoms when you eat too much gluten? Even though your test results have come back all clear? Not only is it a real thing, but you can get relief from gluten sensitivity symptoms too!

It used to be thought that only those with coeliac disease react to the protein gluten found in wheat, barley and rye grains. But recent studies now suggest that sensitivity to gluten affects up to 13 per cent of the population. However, gluten sensitivity is difficult to diagnose using medical diagnostic methods, so most cases are self-reported.

In our clinics we see many Positive Association Technique (PAT) clients reporting gluten sensitivity symptoms. Using muscle testing we’re not only able to confirm their suspicions, but also provide relief from gluten sensitivity symptoms with our completely natural, innovative treatment method called PAT.

In this episode, we cover the factors that have contributed to the rise of gluten reactions, the different ways gluten can affect people, and most importantly how we can help.

Sugar Cravings and Allergies - with Leila DiQuinzio 06 Jan 202500:26:18

You’ve heard that sugar is bad for you, but when faced with a rich truffle mud cake it’s hard to remember why. It basically comes down to two major mechanisms: immunity and inflammation.

Unfortunately, sugar cravings and allergies have both of these things in common. Allergic conditions like dermatitis/eczema, hay fever and asthma are due to an immune system that has lost its way, overproduced histamine and created an inflammatory cascade.

We see many Positive Association Technique (PAT) clients at our clinics who struggle with sugar cravings and allergies. Interestingly, sugar cravings can actually be a sign that you may have an intolerance or sensitivity to sugars.

So, let's uncover this curious connection with Melbourne based Naturopath & PAT Practitioner Leila DiQuinzio.
