Narcissistic Collapse will occur throughout a narcissist’s lifetime on various occasions when their narcissism fails to achieve its agendas on multiple fronts and supply levels are very low. Why do narcissistic relationships feel chemically addictive? The truth is more disturbing than most people realize. Narcissists do not addict you to them. They addict you to yourself. Then they quietly take control of the production and withholding of your own feel-good hormones. In this video, we explore the hidden mechanism narcissists use to create emotional and spiritual addiction. During the idealization phase, they mirror you, amplify you, and reflect back your most desired self-image. The confidence, excitement, chemistry, and euphoria you feel are not coming from them. They are triggering dopamine, oxytocin, adrenaline, and validation circuits that were already inside you. You experience an enhanced version of yourself and mistake that biochemical high for love. Once your nervous system associates them with access to that heightened state, the control begins. Through intermittent reinforcement, emotional withdrawal, devaluation, and unpredictability, they begin regulating the supply. The same person who activated your confidence and joy now withholds attention, approval, affection, or connection. Your brain responds the way it would to any addictive cycle: craving, anxiety, obsession, and a desperate attempt to get the “high” back. Psychologically, this creates trauma bonding through reward conditioning and hormone dysregulation. Spiritually, it feels like a spell because your perception becomes distorted. You believe they are the source of your happiness, when in reality they only learned how to trigger and control your internal chemistry.

It really does not end well for the narcissist despite the reality distorted illusion they try desperately to get you to believe. They never escape their way of living trapped forever in a behaviour pattern cycle that they will not abandon. Control, lack of accountability, steal and destroy to survive and thrive is their universal modus operandi. It cannot end well as there are collateral consequences for such a destructive cycle that eventually in the end catches up on them. Narcissists follow a major behaviour cyclical pattern, lovebombing, devaluation, discard and hoover on repeat. However, there are also cycles within cycles of behaviour patterns and dynamics on repeat, just as the smaller cogs turn the bigger ones and so the outer wheel of the personality disordered narcissist turns. The manner in which a narcissist acts with their target is cyclical and predictable on repeat. Understanding this objectification and repetitive behaviour may help others depersonalise their experience and expedite healing.

(Where do you go to my lovely) a well know song brings to mind the manipulation tactics used by covert narcissists to reap narcissistic supply and bring their targets/intimate partners totally under their control. The partner of a covert narcissist appears to their loved ones as not having altered in their outward identity presentation but their soul seems to have disappeared. It is such a hard phenomenon to describe as it’s such an elusive idea to attempt to structure with tangible substance. Targets of narcissists often think they are happy in the relationship initially but are tricked into a very illusory reality similar to an intoxicated state. In this state logic evades them and their loved ones often can’t figure out where their soul, essence and spirit have disappeared to, they seem inaccessible. The bubble existence or matrix created by the narcissist is systematically feeding off their current supply target/host while at the same time imprisoning them in a somewhat emotionally and psychologically drugged reality.

Post Discard or after a relationship with a fully blown narcissist has ended, the aftermath is often inexplicable to their ex partners/friends/work colleagues or family members. There are two main behaviour styles generally displayed or enacted by narcissists after a relationship has run its course. Either of these two behaviour trajectories can be witnessed regardless of whether the target discarded the narcissist or the narcissist discarded their source of narcissistic supply first. Part 1 of this mini series covers the first method of treatment after a narcissists relationship has ended, metered out to a narcissist’s former partner/friend/family member. This method is very hands on and grabbing of attention from all parties involved. It includes a high degree of attempted emotional triggering on the part of the covert narcissist towards their former target. Most people cannot get their minds around this strange and fairly obnoxious, in human terms, behaviour style. The Narcissists core agenda throughout particularly an intimate relationship, is to control their partner/target and obtain narcissistic supply. The covert narcissist is adept at using a secret technique to consecutively gain control of their target using emotional triggers on a continuum creating emotional turmoil and confusion to obtain supply via emotional output. This in turn empowers the narcissist and upholds the fake persona or false mask in the belief that it exists, because it is powerful enough in its own right to command powerful emotional output from a human being/target. The key for surviving and thriving a relationship with a covert narcissist is remaining and maintaining all the qualities of humanity in particular the quality of Empathy. In addition turning from the emotional rollercoaster of an enmeshment with a narcissist and using a clear thought process to form the resultant emotional reaction in alignment with the core values of humanity, is the best and in my opinion only way, to outwit and ultimately defeat a narcissist. Doing the right thing is never wrong so to speak!

What a female narcissist’s discard feels like? It’s pretty poisonous, destructive, confusing and highly manipulative. The covert female narcissist aims to enmesh her former intimate partner for future gains and will seek to hone in on a particularly specialised and effect manipulation against in particular her male partner. The female narcissist has a game plan that works time and time again as she transitions to new relationships unless her partner is educated on how a covert narcissist discards and uses a vile smear campaign as part of their entrapment game plan. Understanding and education around how a female narcissist differs in technique from her male narcissist counterpart is succinctly important to avoid unwittingly falling foul of such a devious nature.

The narcissist is very emotionally immature and that level of emotional maturity coupled with their narcissistic personality disorder leads to a very black and white decision making process. Notwithstanding additionally having a huge sense of entitlement, omnipotent disposition and over sensitivity to perceived threats to control, a narcissists perspective is anything but normal. A narcissist’s discard aligned with a devastating devaluation of their target can cause a ground breaking and transformative change within the target of the covert narcissist’s offensive. It is so necessary to life affirm and self advocate after fighting such a life changing spiritual battle with a physical being such as your average narcissist who harbors a great propensity for evil. Near Death Experiences have been life transforming for many who go through these events, I would describe the spiritual awakening after a relationship with a narcissist as having a similar impact on a persons life trajectory should they choose to follow that path. Covert narcissists generally punish their targets for perceived or real transgressions or basically any threats to the narcissists control. The narcissist dislikes attention taken away from them as they feel entitled to to all the attention and adulation on offer. They also are threatened by their sources of narcissistic supply getting attention or emotional validation from anyone or thing other than themselves. There are many covert and cowardly way narcissists seek retribution for perceived wrongdoings to them and here we list 14 ways a narcissist will punish their targets or sources of narcissistic supply. Your silence post discard is the best possible healing tool for you and the worst possible outcome for a narcissist who is reliant on your negative emotional output for narcissistic supply. Disrupting this particular stage of the NPD behaviour cycle does not go down well with a narcissist. Your silence makes a very loud noise in a narcissist’s head particularly when supply runs low from other sources. For the narcissist’s former partner no contact or going silent expedites healing and is definitely the most effective way to avenge appropriately a cruel discard and any further wrongdoing on the narcissist’s part.

The spiritual energy of a covert narcissist is often described as demonic for valid reasons, as the outcomes of narcissistic behaviour are destructive and malignant in nature. Looking at all the main drivers that motivate a narcissist, 7 spirits of a demonic energy are a constant theme in the narcissist’s makeup. A relationship with a covert narcissist is often difficult to describe in terms of the unseen malevolence towards the target. Here we describe in detail those 7 demonic spirits as parts of the whole personality, to better understand the true nature of a narcissist.

This information can also assist a person who has dealt with a difficult individual, to come to a decision in relation to their spiritual energy, in reflecting on the 7 spirits mentioned.
