Kabery is currently working as a National UN Volunteer Specialist while also working as a chairperson of MDPOD (Manikganj Disabled People’s Organization to Development). She is also the Founder of the Advocacy Group for Person’s with Disability, Jahangirnagar University. This multi-talented human being is also an acclaimed Reciter, and Recitation trainer and was the Ex-vice president of “Dhoni” (2017 to 2018), Jahangirnagar University. She has also served as a jury member at numerous international film festivals in Italy, India, England, Nepal, France, Russia, Bangladesh and most recently Iran, to name just a few. Sadia studied Screenwriting at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She has also worked as an entertainment journalist in Dhaka and Los Angeles since 2012. A Berlinale Talent Press alumna, she attended mentorship programs with Film Independent and Locarno Open Doors. She also teaches film studies at different universities and institutions and is the recipient of Charles Wallace Fellowship from the British Council and also a voting member of the prestigious Golden Globes Award.
