Dave Ralph has had one of the most interesting and unique journeys in the history of electronic music. From humble beginnings in his home city of Liverpool, Dave went on to regularly feature at iconic superclubs like Cream, and tour the world with other legendary DJs such as Paul Oakenfold.
Dave also jumped across the pond at a much earlier stage than most in dance music, and established himself as a well known touring artist across America, and also played a huge role in the success of Insomniac, which has grown into one of the foremost club and festival brands in the world.
That's not all! Dave is also an accomplished producer, and was one of the talents behind one of the biggest dancefloor hits of the 90's, Bassheads 'Is There Anybody Out There?'
Dave's been putting the lockdown to good use, and has, after a long hiatus, gotten back into the studio, and is creating some amazing new tracks with the more modern studio technology he now has at his disposal.
In this conversation with MYT Founder Paul Nolan, Dave reflects on his incredible journey, which proves that success definitely doesn't come in a straight line, or even in the form you were expecting!
