On todays episode, I am joined by investigative journalist and ufo researcher Paola Harris to discuss an intriguing case that occurred two years prior to the infamous Roswell incident. 

In her newly updated book, co-authored with the legendary Jacques Vallee, Trintiy: The Best Kept Secret, Paola looks into the reports that some strange sort of avocado shaped object crashed in the area near the White Sands Proving Ground in the late summer of 1945.

With the US having tested the atomic bomb the month previously, did this signal our growth beyond the realms of the earth and encourage visitations to check us out. 

With interviews with first hand witnesses, allegations of cover ups, encounters with alien beings and stolen wreckage all pointing to the Trinity incident being an extremely intriguing case.

His interest in the subject was piqued after experiencing some strange experiences on his first experience of searching for cryptids in Florida on an event organised by the Finding Bigfoot team back in 2011.

On this episode, I am joined by writer and film producer Rowena Amos, whose new short film "Strange Waters" has been garnering rave reviews at numerous film festivals all year.

This short supernatural thriller is set on one of the sea forts in the Solent which have a history of being haunted and follows five people who soon realise there's much more to this fort than meets the eye.

Rowena discusses the film and the themes before taking us on a trip around some of the Isle of Wight's most haunted locations as well as diving into our mutual love of Bigfoot.

Cryptids are a world wide phenomeon with strange creatures being encountered and reported on every continent and countless witnesses. 

In his new book, In Search of Real Monsters, our good friend goes on a globe trotting monster hunt to cover some of the most intriguing creatures that inhabit other countries. We head to Africa to look into the numerous accounts of dinosaurs somehow surviving into the modern era, known as Mkolele-Mbembe. 

South America is allegedly still supporting the Giant Ground Sloth, with reports still occurring, then we chase down the Mongolian Death Worm, hiding out in the Gobi Desert before visiting Russia looking for the legendary Yeren.

It's time to set a course for South Carolina on the hunt for more monstrous residents lurking in the woods, lakes and tunnels surrounding the beautiful of one of the US's most historic states with our good friend David Weatherly.

I finally get a chance to get into one of my very favourite cryptid cases, the infamous Bishopville Lizard Man which made a small, sleepy town a nationwide monster hunting magnet for a couple of years in the mid to late 80s. Once you hear what really went down, you may consider something other than a giant lizard was on the rampage.

We meet Lake Monsters, Cymbees, a Mermaid tthat brought a town to a stand still and a terrifying creature known as the Third Eye Man who stalked the tunnels under a university campus, scaring students and police officers alike.

On this episode, I'm delighted to be joined by one of the most respected and knowledgeable members of British fortean investigations, Malcolm Robinson. With over 40 years of experience chasing ghosts, UFO's, Nessie and much, much more, there aren't many aspects of the unusual he hasn't been involved in.

We dive into three of Malcolm's most recent books, The Sauchie Poltergeist which covers an incredible case from the 1960's and is surely one of the most compelling infestations in British paranormal history.

A quick hop across the Irish Sea to then discuss the current case of one family from Dublin Ireland, who have found themselves subjected to unwanted contact with the ‘Hat Man’, Shadow People, and the Greys.

FInally, Malcolm updates us on the harrowing abduction of two men from their car as they were driving down the A70 road between the city of Edinburgh and the small town of Tarbrax. In his newly updated book, The A70 UFO incident, Malcolm breaks the case down with historical reports, hypnosis transcripts and interviews with all the key parties.

Imagine how you would feel if you found yourself in the middle of something that the authorities simply tell you didn't happen.

On this weeks show, we journey to the historic and scenic nation of Wales to uncover some of the rich history of hauntings from across the country in the company of author and journalist Mark Rees.

Mark has written two collections; Ghosts of Wales: Accounts from the Victorian Archives – reveals for the first time more than 50 hair-raising – and in some cases, comical – real life accounts from Wales dating from 1837 to 1901 and Paranormal Wales which takes the reader on a spine-chilling journey to dozens of these locations, which include well-known tourist landmarks and more secluded spots well off the beaten track.

Mark and I dive into a famous poltergeist case, from Swansea  and you can view an interview with a clearly frightened Marcia Howells here, a collection of haunted pubs, some creepy castles and the amazing story of the opera singer Adelina Patti and her love affair with the country.

It was a long overdue visit to Wales's haunted history and Mark is the perfect guide.

November 1957 and strange things are afoot in the Texan town of Levelland. What happened here clearly shows us that even at this point the US Government and the USAF were clearly engaged in a concerted effort to supprress the situation. 

Despite numerous witnesses, clear sightings, cars and radios stalled and full of static, alleged landing sites and more were dismissed and deemed as irrelevant by the authorities and Project Blue Book. 

Shedding light on this remarkable case is esteemed ufologist and researcher Kevin Randle. We discuss the case as well as diving into the Socorro case and Roswell.

Kevin is someone who I've wanted to speak with for a long time so I was delighted to finally have the opportunity to finally speak with him.

So join us as we head to the 1950's to visit Hopkinsville on the hunt for some space goblins and then go on the search for the Flatwoods Monster and dispel some of the myths that have sprung up in both cases.

We then meet the unfortunate Mr Shrum and his encounter with some creatures that left him with nightmares for the rest of his life, a family who find themselves caught in a strange situation that causes us to consider the possibility of a cryptid ghost and a Bigfoot encounter that takes a very unexpected turn.

This week we are off on a paranormal road trip around some of Illinois most haunted locations outside of Chicago in the company of our good friends director Joe Tury and Chad Lewis.

Joe's latest documentary, Paranormal Prairie, takes us on a journey around the Prairie States less well known haunted hotspots that deserve a wider audience.

We head down to the area of high strangeness that surrounds Williamsburgh Hill, which seems to be home to all sorts of phenomena from cryptids, to strange lights, UFO's and of course ghosts. One of which seems to try and entice children to come and play in the afterlife.

Greenwood cemetery also hosts some supernatural residents and we also take a trip to Alton's infamous Mineral Springs Hotel, meet a haunted statue, brave the Seven Gates of Hell before meeting the scariest spectre the state hosts, that of the murderess Julia Markham.

In 1988, the small town of Bishopville was about find itself smack bang in the middle of a monster flap that attracted world wide attention. When locals began reporting some strange reports of damaged vehicles, the authorities appeal for help took a decidely strange turn.

What started as some unusual vandalism turned in to a collection of reports of encounters with some chilling and disturbing encounters with a weird bipedal creature lurking near Scape Ore Swamp.

Joining me to return to one of his earliest cases is author, researcher and rock god Lyle Blackburn. Lyle covers the witnesses and encounters he covered in his book along with some of the odder aspects to an already odd case.

This week I am joined by the notable Canadian psychic and paranormal investigator Jim Hunt.

Jim's career has spanned decades and has seen him travel the world in a quest to find answers to the questions of the reality of life after death and the possibilities of what this could mean.

We discuss his history in the world of the paranormal and how he dealt with the ramifications of what he began to see and hear, his work on the Canadian TV show "Knock Knock Ghost" which can be seen on Prime as well as Jim taking us on haunted tour of Montreal and Eastern Canada.

It's always interesting to hear about hauntings and locations we're not that familiar with or discussed as some more famous cases. and Jim is on fine form throughout our conversation.
