In Dark Lullaby – Episode 04, Eric, Carmen, and Kody arrive in the picturesque town of Austin, Maine, determined to follow the trail left behind by Amber's investigation. At first glance, the community appears idyllic: welcoming locals, rolling vineyards, and the sort of small-town charm that seems untouched by the troubles of the outside world.

But first impressions can be deceiving. While Kody seeks answers from the town's priest, delving into Austin's history and traditions, Carmen pursues a very different line of inquiry with the proprietor of the local "sports" store—a business whose inventory and clientele raise more than a few eyebrows.

As fragments of the town's past begin to emerge, so too does the unsettling feeling that Austin is keeping secrets. The deeper the investigators dig, the more they begin to suspect that Amber may have uncovered something the town would rather remain buried.

Taking on the roles of Nuggy the Barbarian Queen, Morgan the wondering Druid, and the Orc bard Gjord, the party finds themselves ambushed while escorting a magical relic along with a detachment of Imperial guardsmen through the treacherous Forest of Shadows.

With goblin brigands swarming from the undergrowth and the escort in disarray, survival becomes the first priority. The woodland itself feels hostile, the path uncertain, and the enemy far from finished.

Cut off, outnumbered, and deep in cursed territory, the party must locate any survivors and carve a path to safety—before the forest claims them as just another forgotten tale.

In The Wolves of Langston – Episode 08: “Holding the Line Against the Undead”, the story returns to Langston for one last time. With a wounded militiaman’s life hanging by a thread, Da'Dae searches the late herbalist’s cottage for anything that might serve as a remedy.

What he finds instead is something far stranger—a curious object that hints at unfinished business and dangers not yet fully laid to rest. Joined by Roi, Da'Dae sets out to follow the trail and settle the final matters left festering in the shadows of Langston.
