How do artists think about those moments of uncertainty and unexpected opportunity? As our Tucson residency comes to a close, we reflect on our time in the desert with a new-found appreciation for the deeply profound lessons the landscape can teach us about our place within it. We were struck by the “slow time” rules that desert growth seems to be governed by – the way its incredible vibrancy appears to operate in near silent suspension.
