Clare McConnell is a Canadian Screen Award–nominated actor and comedian best known for her roles as Effie Newsome on CBC’s Murdoch Mysteries and Klingon leader Dennas on Star Trek: Discovery. Shailyn Pierre-Dixon is a Canadian actor best known for her role as Macy on CBC’s Murdoch Mysteries and the digital series Macy Murdoch. Her additional credits include The Book of Negroes, Between, Odd Squad, and The Magic School Bus Rides Again. She is also an accomplished voice actor, with work across a range of animated series and projects.
