How do you juggle growing professionally while also being a great mom and taking care of yourself? Meet today’s guest, Crystal Ware. Crystal and I dive into a dual episode that is being aired both on my podcast and on her podcast “Get Clear with Crystal Ware”. From discussing the struggles of balancing work and family, to offering advice on advocating for a raise at work, Crystal's insights provide valuable guidance for women in professional settings. Together, we’re exploring the complexities of managing ADHD in both mothers and their children, shedding light on medication, emotional regulation, and the importance of self-care. Crystal Ware is on a mission to empower women to pursue their dreams with confidence, authenticity and purpose. She left a successful (yet stressful) career as a Fortune 500 leader and attorney on her quest to find more time, money and freedom, trading in the title of “attorney” for a new role as “entrepreneur and coach”. Now, she helps other women define their own path to success, wealth, health, so they, too, can have the joy, faith, and freedom that she created for herself! | E142: Why I Choose to Take ADHD Medication and My Journey for the Best ADHD Treatment Plan | 05 May 2022 | 00:47:13
How do you feel about ADHD medication? Are you taking it? Does it help you focus and thrive? Or are you medication-curious, and a little freaked out about it? That’s totally okay. Are you anti-medicine? That's alright, too. Most ADHDers who are new to medication have a LOT of questions, like: - How does ADHD medicine feel? - How do you know if your ADHD medication is working? - How do you decide if medication is the right choice? On the Motherhood in ADHD podcast, we’re kicking off “Medication May” (and probably a bit of June too!), by giving you the complete low-down on ADHD medication, so you can make the choice that’s right for you. In this episode, you’ll hear about: - Why I choose to take medicine, and my personal experience with different types of ADHD medication over the past 20 years - Why I stopped taking medication in the past, and how I managed without it - The unnecessary shame and embarrassment many ADHDers feel when seeking ADHD meds (Let’s break the stigma, shall we?!) - How to tackle the fears and “what ifs” around taking medication by becoming as informed as possible - How ADHD medication isn’t a “magic wand” that solves all your problems – and additional ways to support yourself - The difference between stimulant and non-stimulant ADHD medication (and my experience with both) - Why it’s okay to start and stop medication (and how to work with your doctor to do this safely) - Answers to the most frequent questions asked by listeners - And more! Let me be clear: This is not medical advice. I'm not here to tell you what you should or should not do. My goal in sharing my treatment journey is to share with you as much knowledge and confidence as possible, so you can decide if ADHD medicine is an option you'd like to try. Because you are the only one who can decide what is best for you. This material is not intended as medical advice. | E140: What Does ADHD Look Like in Women? When to get an Adult ADHD Diagnosis with Dr. Sasha Hamdani | 22 Apr 2022 | 00:43:37
What does your ADHD look like? Does it look like impulsiveness, hyperactivity and the irresistible urge to fidget – the signs we constantly hear about in men and boys? Or does it look more like forgetting to put on deodorant or brush your teeth, trouble keeping track of all your kid’s appointments, absent-mindedly twirling your hair, or excessive talking when you get excited? (If you’ve ever gotten “talks too much” on your report card as a kid, you know what I mean!) ADHD can look different in women – and just because you don’t have the “classic” signs, doesn’t mean you don’t have ADHD. In this episode of Motherhood in ADHD, Dr. Sasha Hamdani, a board-certified psychiatrist and ADHD specialist, shares about the symptoms of ADHD in women, and SO much more, including: - Dr. Sasha’s own diagnosis story, and her experience as a mom with ADHD - ADHD diagnosis in children: how to talk to your kids about their diagnosis in a non-judgmental and supportive way - When it’s time to seek professional help for your ADHD symptoms - ADHD and hormones: how your cycle affects your symptoms - Self-care tips for the emotional side of ADHD - The benefits of partnering with an ADHD specialist, and how to find the right professional - How to speak to your loved ones about your ADHD, while clarifying it's an explanation and not an excuse - Answers to all YOUR burning questions that you shared in our Motherhood in ADHD private Facebook group (P.S. | E139: Is an ADHD Self-Diagnosis Valid? 5 Reasons to get an ADHD diagnosis beyond getting a prescription for ADHD medication | 14 Apr 2022 | 00:17:28
How did you figure out you (possibly) have ADHD? We all have our own unique journey to an ADHD diagnosis. Maybe you have a formal diagnosis from a doctor and a prescription for ADHD medication, and it’s helping you live your best life. Or maybe your ADHD is self-diagnosed. You’ve done the research, you check all the boxes, you know in your heart that this is why you’re struggling, and you’re choosing to manage it on your own. What matters most is that you feel seen, supported, and encouraged. But what if you’re on the fence about getting a professional diagnosis for your ADHD? What if you're (understandably) concerned about the cost of care, or feeling overwhelmed by the process of finding the right doctor? Maybe you've had a bad experience in the past where you've felt uninformed, shamed, embarrassed, or doubted your own perspective. In this episode of Motherhood in ADHD, I’ll share my thoughts on this topic. You’ll hear: - Why people decide to stick with ADHD self-diagnosis (Absolutely NO judgement here!) - Why the simple validation that you have ADHD can improve your mental health and wellbeing - 5 reasons why a formal diagnosis can improve your mental health, work and school accommodations, relationships with others, and more This episode will help you take the worry out of the equation and feel supported and validated that you are making the best decision for you. In 11 weeks, you’ll set up a smooth, low-stress plan for your mom life by designing your daily rhythms and routines fit for your ADHD brain. Time Management Mastery for ADHD Moms is starting NOW! What’s wrong with my child? Why won’t they listen? Why is everything a negotiation? Why do I have to keep yelling, making threats, and going from 0-100 in a split second? What’s wrong with me? Mama–you’re not the first one to ask these questions. We’ve all flipped our lids, cried in the bathroom, felt horribly guilty for yelling at our kids and wondered, at the end of the day, if we’re just defective parents. What if a few more tools in your toolbelt are enough to be the kind and compassionate parent you want to be? Meet Mary Van Geffen, parenting coach for parents with spicy children. | E137: What's Your Escape Plan? 11 lessons from my solo ADHD mom self care vacation | 31 Mar 2022 | 00:30:01
Mama–when was the last time you spent time alone? And no–I don’t mean the 2 minutes you spend in the bathroom while the dog scratches at the door and you can hear someone yelling “moooom??” from some distant corner of the house. I mean real alone time–as in, away from your family, inaccessible, OFF THE CLOCK. Has it been a while? Have you…ever had any real alone time? If you haven’t, it’s understandable. Maybe you just can’t find the time. Or the childcare help. Maybe you feel selfish or wrong for taking time to yourself. We feel like we have to be the glue that holds families together, right? Without you, wouldn’t your family just…fall apart? Maybe. But maybe that’s okay. In this episode of Motherhood in ADHD, I’ll share 11 lessons I learned from my first solo vacation as an ADHD mom, and more. We’ll talk about: -Overwhelmed moms who formed “escape plans”--from becoming a nun to checking into rehab (Yeah, motherhood is hard.) -How my vacation almost didn’t happen because my ADHD brain mixed up the dates and miscommunicated them to my spouse. -How I felt after getting 10 hours of uninterrupted sleep (YES, this really happened) -How stepping back can increase our kids’ resilience -Relationships and ADHD–why it’s so important for us to voice what’s in our head so our partners can understand how our extraordinary brains work -The time-driven nature of motherhood, and how getting “off the clock” can relieve anxiety for moms with ADHD -The difference between self-care and after-care, and why it matters -Chronic illness and motherhood–how you’re more capable than you think when you’ve slid into a dark spot As an ADHD mama, you’re already a superstar. Have you ever wondered if you need therapy for your ADHD? That question can feel overwhelming for ADHD mamas. You’re thinking: Do I really need therapy if I’m not in crisis? What if my therapist doesn’t understand my ADHD brain? What if they tell me I’m just a hot mess and there’s no hope for improvement? | E135: Discounting Disability and Dismissing Disadvantages: Why We Don't All Have the Same 24 Hours in a Day | 17 Mar 2022 | 00:10:38
True or false: we all have the same 24 hours in a day…? If you said FALSE, you're 100% right, mama. Sure, we have 24 physical hours. But depending on our abilities, circumstances and responsibilities… Those hours look VERY different. To a carefree, neurotypical teenaged boy, an hour might feel like eternity. He can hang out with friends, do some homework, watch a show, eat some food. Leisurely. To a work-at-home mama of 3 with ADHD, dinner on the stove, laundry to fold, an appointment she's late for, keys she can't find (again) and a puppy that needs house training… Not so much. A 500lb barbell is the same weight to an Olympic weightlifting champion as it is to me! But he and I have a unique set of skills and abilities that mean he can lift it, while I just look at it and laugh. Time is the same way, friend. It's measured the same. But we are not all equipped equally in how we spend it. You’re putting in double the effort to get half the output than other people can. I see you. This week's episode of Motherhood in ADHD is your permission slip to STOP beating yourself up for being 'bad with time’ and not ‘hustling’ your way to success. Give it a listen and discover why you may have a different 24 hours than 'other moms.' And as always, head over to patriciasung.com/resources for loads of free tools to help you feel more in control of your day and life. Prefer reading? | E134: Hate Reading and Math? You're Not Stupid! How Irlen Syndrome Affects Your Learning Affects Your Vision and Learning | 12 Mar 2022 | 00:23:52
Do you struggle with reading or math? Do you lose your place easily when working? Is reading sheet music ridiculously hard? Well, it might not be your eyes OR your ADHD, mama. It might be something called Irlen Syndrome. Not only does it tend to go along with ADHD (& autism!), it can lead to misdiagnosis. Irlen Syndrome, also called Scotopic Sensitivity Syndrome, is a perceptual processing disorder, not a vision problem. For those of us who have it, it can lead to some funky vision impairment and: - Extreme light sensitivity - Wanting/needing to read in dim light - Seeing waves or “rivers” in between the lines of text as we read - Poor depth perception - Bad coordination issues & clumsiness - Low self-esteem or motivation …and more.
However, even if you get this diagnosis, there’s good news: There are things that can help! Tune in to this week’s episode of Motherhood in ADHD to find out more about this condition and learn what you can do to counter these tough symptoms, including what symptoms to look for in children. | E227: Restart Habits You Gave Up On | 23 May 2024 | 00:20:05
When you feel like a BIG loser and failure… Eryn asks for help: “I'm always disappointed in myself that when faced with one small obstacle, I give up and cave on everything I've worked so hard to build and then it takes me WEEKS just to summon the effort/courage to get back on track - whether with diet/exercise, my small business, supporting my husband in his own business, or keeping a consistent routine for my 4 kids. It's so defeating and, as a wife & mom, makes me feel like the BIGGEST loser and failure.” Struggles and frustration are bound to come while parenting, especially with ADHD in the mix. It’s especially frustrating when you’ve worked so hard to establish habits and they seem to fall apart when the slightest thing changes! How can you pick back up where you were and feel successful in the habits you’ve built? Today, I’m covering 3 questions I ask myself when things feel too hard and I want to give up. I hope they help you get back on the horse, too!

| E130: Live Coaching: Make a Daily Schedule that Fits Your ADHD Brain and Mom Life with Time Management Mastery Student Amanda | 10 Feb 2022 | 01:12:48 | |
Not all experts are created equal. There’s literally an expert for EVERYTHING under the sun. Productivity, positivity, mindfulness, fashion, health, wellness, love, parenting… Pick any topic and there’s someone shouting their opinions about it. Yes, they offer tons of information, insight, and guidance and help LOTS of people. The problem is…many of these experts are spouting advice from a neurotypical brain FOR a neurotypical brain. Now don’t get it twisted…I’m not saying ADHD brains can’t latch on and get great value from some of those experts. What I’m saying is there’s a big gap in the information given and how ADHD brains processes that information. And for ADHD moms who are trying to get their crap together and finally start having FUN being as a mother…all of this “expert” advice can leave them feeling frustrated, defeated, and totally helpless. Have you ever found a system from the latest productivity book and tried implementing it in your life and it just didn’t work? Did you think, “I’m trying all these things they say to do…WHHHHY won’t these strategies work for me!?” Well, on today’s episode we’ll talk with an ADHD mom and Time Management Mastery student, Amanda, about her journey with ADHD. She talks about how she kicked non-ADHD standards out the window and opted for ADHD systems created BY and FOR ADHD brains. We cover #allthethings including: - Common ADHD misdiagnosis (bipolar, anxiety, depression) If you often struggle with managing your day-to-day life…I encourage you to join the waitlist for Time Management Mastery for ADHD Moms. Amanda's story is a true testament of what can happen when ADHD moms finally decide to do things differently and create systems that work for THEIR minds. | E129: 3 Steps for Getting Your Crap Together! Time Management for ADHD Moms with Guest Host and ADHD Mom Entrepreneur Angel McElhaney | 03 Feb 2022 | 00:40:35
Mother Necessity has dropped a lot of babies on this earth. When was the last time you learned something new or figured out a major problem out of pure necessity? Like, if you didn't figure something out and FAST - you would lose your ever-lovin' mind? or job? or partner? Today is a treat: ADHD Mom Entrepreneur Angel McElhaney guest hosts the podcast and asks me all about how and why I created the framework behind Time Management Mastery for ADHD Moms. This system was born out of SHEER necessity (for my sanity) and now it's helping dozens of ADHD moms figure out how to work WITH their ADHD brains and build a daily routine that fits their special flavor of ADHD + their family dynamics. Back in the day, I was in a place where mothering was not fun. All my pre-mom skills were not working and I was falling apart at the seams. I felt like I couldn't keep up, and I was in a perpetual state of failure. I was one more sensory overload input away from a total MOM-SPLOSION. It was a hard tour of duty, and I often wanted to give up. I KNOW there are many of you reading this right now who are currently in that trench that feels like the pit of despair. Big hugs, mama. After I finally realized what I was doing wasn't in alignment with what my ADHD MOM brain NEEDED, I decided "the heck with normal...I'm gonna do this MY WAY." While I'd been trying to organize my time, I was using 2 unworthy starting points: A) what *the experts* say is the right way and B) my previous phase of life, aka, a non-mom. And motherhood changes things (as if you hadn't noticed, lol!) So, what did I do? I used my super creative problem-solving ADHD brain and unpacked what was REALLY happening during my day that made everything feel so overwhelmingly scattered and #hotmess vibes. Through my own ADHD knowledge and a TON of outside research, I built a system for myself that eventually developed into a framework that has been helping DOZENS of ADHD moms finally feel like they have the tools to manage their days like a totally in control boss. The waitlist opened today for the next session of Time Management for ADHD Moms. | E226: Why You Can’t Afford to Skip Self-Care as a Mom | 16 May 2024 | 00:21:26
Recently, I discussed with 4 mom friends the point of Mother’s Day. Spoiler Alert: We all had differing opinions and none of us do the same things on Mother’s Day. While some dislike its baggage and some of us loved a day of being treated like a queen, we did agree that moms could all use a lot more care and rest. You deserve more than 1 day out of 365, mama. Because caring for yourself isn’t an optional activity. At some point, your body or mind will make you take a break when you haven’t made space for rest, and usually at a fairly inopportune time. Let’s discuss why caring for yourself matters (it’s not selfish!) and what real self care looks like. Wanna rest and relax with me? My weekend retreat for ADHD moms is an excellent way to take care of yourself. Plus we get to hang out! In real life! You’re invited! “Be True To You”, the weekend retreat for ADHD Moms takes place October 11-13, 2024 in Houston, Texas. You get to relax, turn off the hamster wheel of to-dos, and rest while I totally take care of YOU! This event is all-inclusive. That means that you don’t have to do *anything* once you check in. I’m taking care of your hotel, meals, and activities. Plus you’ll be hanging out with an awesome group of moms who get you! Having friends who have or suspect ADHD and have been there, done that, and probably forgot to buy the T-shirt are wonderful, and the kind of friends who like you just as you are, that’s priceless. Here's your official invitation to join a welcoming group of moms in person to rest, hang out together, build your support system, and learn to take care of yourself. Because you are worth it. Early bird registration starts TODAY through May 30th, so grab your ticket here: patriciasung.com/retreat. And if you can’t make it this year, what will you do to take care of yourself? Because you deserve care, my dear, no matter the day of the year.

| E123: Why It's Difficult to Prioritize Your To-Do List and Actually Stick with your Plan as a Mom with ADHD | 16 Dec 2021 | 00:18:24 | |
Feeling stuck is temporary...when you have the right tools. Understanding how YOUR brain actually works makes it easier to establish systems and create a plan that will work for YOUR brain. Plain and simple. Simple...but not necessarily easy. Let's just say ADHD and executive function aren't great friends. What does that mean for us? It means we end up fighting our brains in a battle royale of figuring out what the MOST important thing is we should be doing at any given time. Many times it feels like we're stuck trying to solve the longest word problem in 12th-grade algebra. Ain't nobody got time for that! ESPECIALLY for moms. It's a real challenge for ADHD brains. But if I had to guess I'd say you're the type of mom that's always up for a good challenge. | E121: Estrogen, Progesterone, and Your Menstrual Cycle: Do scientific research studies prove that our ADHD symptoms are affected by our hormone levels? with Dr. Michelle Martel | 02 Dec 2021 | 00:32:26
What is scientific research REALLY doing for women with ADHD? It might *feel* like there is no research being done to help women with ADHD...but my guest today has insight into what's ACTUALLY going on behind the scientific research curtain. Dr. Michelle Martel, a professor and Director of Clinical Training of Psychology for the University of Kentucky, utilizes a translational, “bench to bedside” perspective to examine developmental pathways to Disruptive Behavior Disorders (DBD) and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), using multiple levels of analysis. Her bio is impressive and our conversation is SO GOOD. Her research uncovers what's really going on in the brains of people with ADHD and further - figures out what's going on internally with our hormones. Dr. Martel brings tons of knowledge around how our hormonal fluctuations affect our ADHD symptoms AND what that means for our mental and emotional health. I'm thankful for people like Dr. Martel who have dedicated time and energy to helping the ADHD community. Her research is not only fascinating, it gives YOU, Successful Mama, options to improve your life by understanding your body.

| E120: 4 Things You Should Do To Prepare for Your ADHD Diagnosis Appointment: Taking the fear out of this intimidating and scary step: Q+A Session | 25 Nov 2021 | 00:13:42 | |
ADHD is NOT well understood by most doctors. I know, shocking, right? We often expect our doctors to be the "know all, be all, end all" of medical information, and as much as they want to help us... they just don't get the in-depth training necessary on every single area... And ADHD is one of them. This Q&A session covers my top recommendations when it comes to prepping for an ADHD Diagnosis appointment. Don't get me wrong, I truly believe most doctors want to help us and their hearts are in the right place. I also believe it's important to be our own advocates by making sure we understand our diagnosis and we're prepared to ask the right questions. The question, "How should I prepare for my ADHD Diagnosis appointment?" comes up a lot so I thought it was time I shared my two cents on the subject. Don't worry, Successful Mama. The info in this episode will help you feel confident talking with your doctor about your options and what the right path FOR you will be on your ADHD journey. What other tips would you give someone who's about to talk to their doctor about getting an ADHD diagnosis? Drop your thoughts in the comments. P.s. Real quick - I wanted to mention the totally free Motherhood in ADHD Facebook community. If you're looking for other moms who "get it"...I invite you to join us. | E117: Afraid of Labeling Your ADHD Child? Plus How to Talk About Your ADHD with Your Kids: A Successful Mama's Adult ADHD Diagnosis Journey with Katelyn Mabry | 04 Nov 2021 | 00:27:04
When we approach ADHD with empathy and understanding everyone wins. Today I chat with special education teacher and author Katelyn Mabry about her experience growing up with an ADHD diagnosis, which led her down the path of teaching. Her ADHD influences how she approaches teaching, and how she navigates being a mother with ADHD. Katelyn shares some great insights that demystify why we shouldn't fear the ADHD label, but rather we how we can embrace it. When we're able to understand the reasoning behind our struggles, it can only help us make positive future progress. We discussed labeling our kids, our own feelings of fear and uncertainty, and how we ADHD'ers tend to have a lower sense of self-worth and confidence, mostly due to lack of information. She coaches us by teaching our kids to accept and feel comfortable around people who are different from us, and why it's important to lead by example the best we can. You've heard it before, our kiddos are like little sponges! The way Katelyn has made educating kids and parents about ADHD to help them understand how we can all learn to approach any "disability" with more curiosity and empathy, rather than judgment or criticism is downright inspiring. Part 1 of this conversation with my friend Katelyn is packed full of all kinds of relatable goodness, Successful Mama! Check out Katelyn's book, “Hi, It’s Me! I have ADHD!” and her latest venture - a podcast for kids titled “Journey With Me Through ADHD. Katelyn lives in Wisconsin with her husband and 4 young kids. Her passion is to speak into the hearts and minds of children and families with ADHD so they all feel connected and understood! Speaking of feeling connected...it's one of the main reasons I created the Motherhood in ADHD Facebook community that's totally free. Hold up...You're telling me we can harness the power of our cycles by syncing our activities with our hormone and energy fluctuations!? Can we say mind blown? When I learned how cycle syncing helps women create a lifestyle based on their own body's natural flow of hormonal changes, I was hooked. And then, finding out how our menstrual cycles & our hormones affect our ADHD symptoms and energy levels, I went into full hyperfocus mode: Chronic fatigue and energy regulation are serious issues for women with ADHD. I know this chat with wellness guru and creator of The Productive Mum community AND podcast, Sara-Jane Ladums (aka SJ) is going to help soooo many ADHD mamas. She and I dive into the basics of cycle syncing and: Cycle syncing is absolutely fascinating and it doesn't have to be overly complicated. There are lots of simple ways you can implement the awareness of it into your daily life. Think about ALL the things going on in your bodies...would you be willing to make a couple of tweaks so you allow yourself to feel and be your best? If so - I encourage you to consider learning more about cycle syncing. | E107: How to Make Motherhood Easier with Allie Casazza: Minimalism and ADHD | 31 Aug 2021 | 00:29:50
Organization and clutter are huge obstacles for ADHD. When my house is cluttered, my mind is cluttered! The unnecessary junk takes up a significant amount of my mental bandwidth, so I've worked dang hard to get rid of the things that are not serving me. I want to help you do that, too. Today, you're in for a treat! Allie Casazza of The Purpose Show Podcast is here to share her wisdom on decluttering and minimalism for moms. Allie's podcast is the very first podcast I listened to, so she was watering the podcast seeds for Motherhood in ADHD. While Allie doesn't have ADHD herself, she was raised by an ADHD mom, is married to her ADHD spouse, and is a mom herself to 4 kids, and her oldest Bella has ADHD as well. I've gotten to know Allie through her business and podcast mentorship, and I just adore the way she teaches - and you know that as a teacher, I have pretty high standards. Allie's all about figuring out what makes sense for you and your life, and not about doing what everyone else is doing. Her methods are very ADHD-friendly, and her love and compassion for our people and how our brains work simply shines through. Allie and I chatted about how we can make our motherhood easier in modern times -- where support for moms runs thin and social media only shows us everyone else's highlight reels. She explains her minimalism philosophy and how clutter is a thief - not just of our space in our homes, but our time and our energy. We also get into the "why" behind decluttering and talk about practical first steps to declutter your home. She shares how to make decluttering fun, build momentum, and what we can do to reward ourselves for a job well done. Her first book, Declutter Like a Mother, releases September 7th; it's an easy read that makes sense to my ADHD brain. This show is compiled of ALL the good stuff and I am so honored to have Allie as a guest! Listen to the full episode and drop your favorite golden nugget in the comments! | E106: Stop Looking For A System to Solve Your Problems! Why Buying Another New Planner Will Not Make You Organized When You Have ADHD | 26 Aug 2021 | 00:12:42
There's a perfect system that will work for YOU...but spoiler alert - you won't find it on a shelf at target. The BEST way to find a daily planning system that works for you is to CREATE EXACTLY WHAT YOU NEED. Instead of trying planner after unused planner, and forcing them to sorta work, let's make the unique system that fits your life. While it may feel overwhelming at first, when we have help, we can learn to develop systems that work FOR us instead of feeling like a failure because we wasted yet another notebook and feel no closer to success. If we expect a tool, i.e. some random planner, to teach us how to be organized, we'll continually be disappointed by this inanimate object that can't solve our organizational woes! The moral of the story: we can definitely find ways to plan, organize, and execute tasks that work for our ADHD brains when we have a plan to use the system. "How I am going to stick with this, Patricia???" Don't worry - I got you! This is why Daily Planning for ADHD Moms includes a weekly group call. Together you will feel supported and encouraged to continue to make progress on your new habits and the changes you're making in your life. Community is key - and there's so much power when you know and communicate with other mamas who are just like you. You'll no longer feel like you're alone on an ADHD mom island! Having that connection with other mamas who know EXACTLY what you're going through every week makes ALL the difference. And it's what students who take the course say is their favorite part. Yes, they find great success with the modules and tools inside the course but having that actual connection and support is something you can look forward to every week. I know you want to learn, feel seen, and get the advice and tools you need to create a system you know will work FOR YOU! You can do it - we can help! | E104: The ONE Thing that Makes Your Daily Planning a Success when You Have ADHD | 19 Aug 2021 | 00:13:24
We can be successful with ADHD when we start living purposefully like we have ADHD. The obstacles pop up like weeds when we try to live life like we don’t have ADHD. I pretended like I could be "ADHD-free" for many years. And I failed over and over. I finally realized that THIS is what I needed in order to successfully plan my day with ADHD. When we think about what systems we should have in place, we need to consider what works for an ADHD brain. If we don't consider how our brains process differently, we will always be trying to jam a round peg into a square hole. Creating a plan that actually WORKS for the ADHD brain means sometimes we have to chisel out a square hole on our own! "Neurotypical planning" is difficult for many of us - because it wasn't meant for us! The system I've created with the ADHD brain in mind makes planning actually achievable. Now, I'm not saying it's easy...and I'm not saying it doesn't take some guided effort. What I am saying is there is a way, a system, that I can show you that will help! Join me, and more ADHD mamas, in my **Daily Planning for ADHD Moms** course and weekly accountability group. Let's get your calendar and to-do list organized and create a plan for your day.
