My avoidance of failure meant I was never really in the game. After interviewing elite level hunters for this podcast, I have found that all of them are not afraid of failure and press the envelope when hunting.   1. Walk the parameters of the property, looking for and marking major runs on our mapping app. 
  2. Walk the major runs back looking for doe bedding. 
  3. Find doe bedding with rubs and scraps on the outside of the bedding. 
  4. Walk the runs leading into the bedding back 200-300 yards to find the why. 
  5. Identify your stand tree and mark the best access path. 
  6. Repeat
