Chapter 9: Journey Into Light: Going Higher08 Jul 202400:36:13

We could all use some peace these days. In this chapter, Orin says, “You can assist humanity in achieving peace by evolving your thoughts.” Our thoughts contribute to mass consciousness. We’ve all felt thrown about by constant bad news, but we don’t have to stay in that place. Through our breath and by evolving our thoughts with Light, we can move away from repeating lower energy thoughts. Thoughts are a type of action. In this episode, we learn how to become transparent to lower thoughts, how to rise in light and to connect to others on the inner planes. There we receive seeds of light that assist humanity in bringing about the highest and best for all.

Did you know that each rainbow is unique to you, that when you witness a rainbow, you are seeing a singular rainbow refracted by specific water molecules and landing on your eyes? It’s true! Every rainbow is unique to the person seeing it. I love that idea. In this episode we are breathing with Rainbow Light. We open to our own unique rainbow of being. After our pranayama, we nourish with rainbow energy, using all the colors together, then singly noticing and welcoming each color of the rainbow. Red Orange Yellow Green Blue Indigo Violet. From Violet we reach higher into White Light, touching the next octave of Light expression of the earth plane. We experience some moments of all time and timelessness as we rest in these exalted light energies.

Project or Relationship as Energy04 Apr 202200:39:20

Skills + Spaces = Shifts Choose a project or relationship that you would like to elevate or shift in some way. Beginning with an intention of allowing the highest and best to unfold, we engage with this formula of applying our skills of focus, imagination as a sense and finding things as energy. We arrive in a high space of light and frequencies where we can begin to allow our project or relationship to open to new energy, become fluid and soften so a new level of evolution. Aligning with Divine Light, our efforts are supported from the highest levels. Several powerful shifts bring us to a new awareness. This process can be used to align with the highest outcome of any situation or interaction. When we come from this highest alignment, we support the highest good of all concerned in a meaningful way.

The Steps:

  1. Choose a project or relationship to focus upon.
  2. Using your skills, such as felt sense or imagination as a sense, find your project or relationship as energy.
  3. Soften and allow.
  4. Watch your emotions for clues to blockages. Move with any flows of energy, especially uplifting ones.
  5. Return easily, noticing any shifts or changes in your field.
  6. Take any inspired actions that unfold in the days to come.

Season 3 Opener: Working on Things as Energy 21 Feb 202200:40:08

Everything is energy. Behind all physical reality are patterns of energy and vibrations.  You are made up of these energy patterns. We can access this energy reality behind our manifested reality by using our consciousness and focus. In the beginning of Season Three of Miriam’s Meditations, we review our basic breath focus and explore our physical being as the Light generated by our DNA. We’ve been exploring the connection of mind and emotions throughout our practice of breath. Uniting heart and mind has been a central piece of work. In this episode we feel the harmony and resonance of that exploration and find out more about how our heart and mind work together. Creating this balance leads to mental fluidity and emotional flow, allowing us to rise into higher frequencies of light. From there we encounter a flowing, beautiful pattern of cooling light that we use to cleanse and clear the water of our bodies, our area and all of planet Earth. We recognize the ability of water to hold information and give ourselves the suggestion to bless our water as we partake throughout our days.

Our belief system is an important component in our mental body. In this episode we journey into our Belief Warehouse, recognizing that many beliefs we hold are inherited from our ancestry, our culture or our media exposure. Sometimes as we evolve and grow, we outgrow these beliefs. They need to be updated. Using processes of Light and recognition, we notice these beliefs and begin to allow them to soften and shift, coming more and more into alignment with who we truly are. We recognize the Light of the Real as a downpouring of essence, allowing it to cleanse and clear our mental bodies, updating them to our now stance in our lives. We release limiting or outdated beliefs as we open to this inner wisdom. We begin to recognize and amplify the powerful patterns of light emanating from the inner realms. We become conduits for this light to reach all of humanity, uplifting and illuminating us all.

Welcome to the New Year! This episode is dedicated to Sanaya Roman, my teacher, who made her passage into Light December 28, 2021. In today’s breathwork we learn about an energy lock that is made by placing the hands on the body, one hand on the abdomen and one hand on the heart. Play with which hand might go where and feel for yourself which feels correct for you. We use this energy lock to bring our personal energy into congruence. 

 We also work with our body of light, noticing the core of light and all the various areas of the cocoon that surrounds. We then amplify our purpose, recognizing our world service and what we would like to amplify in the new year. We finish by traveling along the path of the new year, recognizing our future self encouraging and supporting us as we move along through time.

Learn a sound for healing anger, which is stored in the liver. We read a lot about liver cleansing and sound is one way we can clear and cleanse old patterns of anger and heal our precious organ. We also learn to use the Vocal Breath to speak our truth and the Rib Stretching Breath to make more space for the breath. Temple of Light/Sounds that Heal Fear27 Sep 202100:50:13

In this episode we learn a new sound for our practice, the sound to heal fear. Fear can come into our awareness as a result of old patterns being triggered by something in our outer awareness. Until we are able to recognize and address these outdated patterns that may be operating beneath awareness, we will continue to create opportunities to address them. Those opportunities may not be very comfortable and not based in the truth of who we are now. Through this practice of breath exercises and sounds, we begin to access these unconscious patterns, bring them to awareness and cleanse and clear them. After the breath practice, our meditation brings us to a beautiful Temple of Light where we connect with our our vast, blessed, Light Being, our Soul or Inner Being. Through witnessing the truth of Who We Truly Are, we find our personality level selves able to more clearly perceive truth in our everyday reality. We then can calibrate our reactions to the truth of the situation in which we find ourselves.  Then our offering of the highest, clearest frequencies of our own True Self uplifts our world and those around us.

Fall brings new perspectives. Here on Maui, the light changes to create a deep turquoise blue in our ocean. In this journey we use this color to cool and soothe while we embark up Part Two of the Grief sound of the Sounds that Heal. With this sound, we are calling to our present anything that is ready to be brought to awareness: loss, old thoughts or patterns, outmoded beliefs, relationships or projects that we are ready to release. We create specific vibrations in our field that allow grief to rise up and leave us with gentleness and ease. The first sound we learn to practice is the sound for grief. This sound corresponds to the lungs, the element of metal and an intention to release grief and breathe in joy.  

 Our bodies remember a great deal of what has happened to us. Some of this we can process and move through, some we hold onto in various ways. Much of this holding is not known to our conscious mind and resides in our energy field. It can cause congestion, illness, confusion. With these sounds, we access these residues and cleanse them, with support of the other breaths of the practice. 

 Holding patterns in the lungs correspond to illnesses like asthma, flu, depression, colds. It’s almost like a sticky substance that interferes with the highest functioning of our lungs, reducing our capacity to be in life. For if our lung capacity is diminished, we cannot do all the things we might otherwise do. 

Join us in deepening our connection to ourselves and our ability to meet the changes of the moment. 

 “Things falling apart is a kind of testing and also a kind of healing. We think hat the point is to pass the test of to overcome the problem, but the truth is that things don’t really get solved. They come together and they fall apart. Then they come together again and fall apart again. It’s just like that. One of the more challenging aspects of this practice is complete surrender of the outcome. We are simply radiating Light from a pure stance in the energies, knowing our offering will assist the outworking of highest and best for all.

This is the way of the Inner Map. We are mapping these inner realms with our conscious focus and being in the higher flows. 

Thich Nhat Hanh, the Buddhist Monk, says: “Breathing in I calm body and Mind. Breathing out I smile. Dwelling in the present moment, I know this is the only moment.”  May you walk with an Inner Smile all through your day.

We dive deep into our own energy field in this chapter, making a commitment to listen deeply to our feelings, and inner guidance from moment to moment, acting upon what is right for you in the present. We do a short breath practice then play with some exercises Orin shares in this chapter. Learning to view things from the perspective of another person, or our pets, or even the sun or a tree. These expansions of ourselves into the world of another helps us create a compassionate field of light, even for those we find difficult. We end with breathing into our hearts and allowing the light of compassion to find us and fill us.

In this episode we are breathing through our heels and practicing a gentle walking meditation. Through our connection to the Earth with our heels, we bless our earth and heal her, while also healing ourselves. We recognize our inner work of aligning with and amplifying frequencies of Harmony, Beauty, Joy, Peace, Abundance and Perfection. We breathe these frequencies into our entire being, that we may be a blessing to all as we walk our sacred ordinary lives.
