The ice is starting to melt and we're already thinking about open water. This week we're sitting down with some of Jim's friends who are avid anglers to talk about their best fishing memories and at what moment we all realized this is more than a passion for us.

We are on the road this week, coming to you from the 57th Annual Hay Days Festival in New Branch Minnesota! We run into BASSMaster Rookie of the Year Trey McKinney and talk with him about how his season went and what he's looking forward to next year. Then we sit down with Scott Wakefield and Keith Twombly to talk about how Northern Minnesota winds down their summer, and how they get ready for this winter. We take a look at what Sea-Doo has been designing for the angler who wants to get to every inch of a lake, FAST!

This week we are talking about unforgettable days on the water. We go over what's biting and how in the Midwest with Mike Steinke and Pete Johnson. Then we sit down with Tournament Musky Angler Clayton Spiess to talk about how everything had to go wrong for him to get it right and win his recent tournament!

This week is all about hunting down and smashing records. We go over the end of tournament bass fishing for the year and a few state records that blew us away. Then we sit down with Kyle Hammond and talk about how he's broken 2 records, and has his eyes set on a third. Brett Leable then joins us to talk about his record breaking trout he got in an unusual way.

This week we are talking about the fishing opportunities of Lake Michigan's South Shore. We sit down with Johnny Wilkins of Chicago Fishing School to talk about fishing the inland waters of Chicagoland. Then we talk with guide and tournament angler Ryan Whitacre about his performance in the South Shore Bass Open and how the fishing is on Lake Michigan and the rivers that feed it.

This week we are headed to Florida for the largest fishing trade show in the world; ICAST 2024! From all over the world, the fishing industry comes together to show off the latest and greatest innovations in fishing. We compete in the ICAST CUP bass tournament, talk with industry and media professionals about where our sport is headed, and we get to show you brand new products that will be in a store near you later this year!

This week we have a new black crappie state record from Minnesota. We sit down with Chicago Sun-Times Outdoor writer Dale Bowman and talk about the diversity on the lakefront. Then we talk with Pro Crappie Angler Terry Adams about the amazing crappie fishing on Kentucky Lake. Afterwards we talk about an awesome product for your big baits from Lakewoods Products.

Forget Shark week, It's Panfish Week! First we check in with MLF Angler Drew Gill for a fishing report. Then we visit with FishDaddy's Andy Clayburn to talk about his fantastic and innovative baits that are perfect for panfish! Later, Brennan Shuette shows us a couple great ways to to cook up some crappies

This week we are talking about the big fish that are popping up across the Midwest. We talk with the NEW Ohio state record holder for blue catfish, 16 year old Jaylynn Parker. Then we sit down with Dumper Dan out of Sheboygan to talk about the big salmonids that are here in our back yard.
