In this episode I talk a little about what I have been up to lately and dive in to a relatively new hobby to me but one that is really satisfying. Processing my own venison! I partnered up with my brother to buy all the equipment needed to process and make all the delicious food that we love from venison we harvested. Brats, jerky, summer sausage, snack sticks etc. I talk about each piece of equipment we have purchased along with the seasonings and products we use to make it all. Today I sit down with Ben Nowak. Ben is a very accomplished bass fisherman in the state of Michigan. He primarily targets giant smallmouth in the Great Lakes but has been known to put huge large mouth in the boat also. I think Ben's greatest attribute is how he strives to teach other anglers how to target these fish through his very successful YouTube channel aptly named "Benjamin Nowak". He has hundreds of tutorials showing fisherman techniques, what gear to use and top baits for the change of the seasons. He is a literal encyclopedia of bass fishing and does a great job of showing it through the camera lens. He has played a large roll in developing tackle as well as fishing rods across the fishing industry all while raising two young children, being married and holding down a full time job.
