This is it, the actual FINAL contribution to the Summer of Dinosaurs, 2023's 65, starring Adam Driver. After seven Jurassic movies, we wanted to end with something a little bit different. Was it worth it? Eh.

Well, here we are. It's not the end of the Summer of Dinosaurs, but the end is in sight as we watch one more shameless cash grab as Universal drags the tired Jurassic franchise through prehistoric mud once again.

This week, we are watching, recapping, and reviewing A Minecraft Movie, a truly abysmal film.

There's a new film in the DPCU to review, and we are here for it! This week we're talking about the newest iteration of Haunted Mansion, and ranking it among the other films based on Disney Parks attractions.

This week we move to review Season 2 of Castlevania, and what a banger it is. New characters that are interesting and dynamic, old characters growing and learning together. It's a wonderful time.

This week, we go back to rewatch and review the Castlevania animated series on Netflix in preparation for Castlevania: Nocturne, which will just have been released by the time this episode is published.

This is it! We have (for the time being) reached the FINAL episode of the Video Game Cinematic Universe In Review, and we are thrilled to out with a genuine, proper film that's actually good. While not an adaptation of the game, Tetris tells the story of Henk Rogers' battle to obtain the publishing rights to what would eventually become one of the most important video games of all time. The film has its flaws but is really enjoyable overall.

We reach the penultimate episode of The Last of Us, focusing on Winter - widely regarded as the best sequence in the game - and the episode did not disappoint. Tense, gripping and emotional throughout, Episode 8 stands as one of the series' best.

This week, Joel and Ellie make their way to Jackson, Wyoming, where they take a short break with trusted family and friends before heading off to meet the Fireflies in Colorado. 

This episode was a fantastic showcase of the emotional bond between Joel and Ellie, and the depth of their character that makes the show shine. This is good, because there was a lot that didn't really land in this episode, too. 

PS2 Fast PS2 Furious returns this week with one of the all-time greats, Silent Hill 2. We talk about its gameplay, graphics, and atmosphere while taking a deep dive into its complex story.

This week's episode of The Last of Us gave us a bit more insight into Kathleen's character as we followed Joel, Ellie, Sam, and Henry through the tunnels of Kansas City. 

Much like Episode 4, while this was still a great episode, its delivery felt a bit rushed, sloppy, and shallow. But it had great character moments and interactions, and the series' biggest action scene so far. 

This week, we return to the Short Circuit universe with Short Circuit 2. Scott's been saying for weeks that the second entry is dramatically better than the first, and shockingly, he's absolutely correct. 

In this week's episode, we follow Joel and Ellie as they make their way to Kansas City, where they are set upon by a local militia, and must fight for their survival. A great episode, although certainly the series' least exciting so far. 

This week, we're taking a look at our Video Games Fantasy Draft as we approach the midway point of 2025, and talk a bit more about Dallin's trip to Vancouver Island.

We are taking a much-needed break this week from terrible video game adaptations, and instead watching the terrible '80s sci-fi comedy, Short Circuit. It's got brownface, racism, sexism, and fun for the whole family!

The reviews and tweets and reactions you've seen surrounding this episode are no exaggeration; it truly is one of the all-time great episodes of any series. 

This week, we continue our slow and sloppy swim through the lake of filth that is the Video Game Cinematic Universe. We review The Angry Birds Movie 2, which is a truly miserable title pulled from a corporate SEO hellscape, and the film isn't much better.
