Mets'd Up – Details, episodes & analysis

The Mets are ROLLING people. Seven in a row. Swept both kinds of socks. Starting pitching has been awesome. David Peterson had the best start of his career and kind of looks like a totally new person. Francisco Lindor is the MVP. We have a lot of reasons why. Also, bullpen is in a sneaky little groove. And Jesse Winker rocks. Gotta keep pushing.

Took care of business. Thankfully. White Sox are legit the worst team in baseball which was fun to play against but also kind of sad. Big series from Sean Manaea, Francisco Lindor, Tylor Megill (really), and the bullpen. Carlos Mendoza still does some weird things though. Your voicemails were funny. Ugh. Blah series. Blah weekend. The lost a series to the Angels which simply shouldn’t happen. We talk about why and how they lost these games which were again, just so blah. Maybe because we missed Gary (please come back ASAP Gary). Plus, a breakdown of some changes Paul Blackburn made in his Mets debut and why Francisco Alvarez has been ice cold. Then, some Media Marvels and wondering is it bad to hit pitches down the middle for home runs. Some people are saying it. Then, Cardinals one-game preview, Rockies preview, and reading your reviews.

Tough end to the roadtrip for our Mets losing all three to the red-hot Orioles in Baltimore. We talk about the series and give the Orioles the credit they deserve for what's been a magical season thus far. Then, we preview the Cubs series ahead of a long homestand at Citi Field starting Monday night.

Lots of good things in this two-game set. Justin Verlander continued his hot streak while Francisco Lindor and Pete Alonso had massive nights on Tuesday to propel the Mets towards victory.
