Don Thrasher covered the local music scene in a column for the Dayton Daily News for over 20 years. He previously played drums in area bands like Swearing at Motorists and Guided by Voices. Will, Dan, and Shawn were privileged to sit down with Dayton’s own Tyler Trent (of Brainiac fame) and have some conversations about how Brainiac originally formed, and getting the band back together after 20+ years.

Will, Dan, and Shawn continue their conversation with Dayton area punk rocker Jamy Holliday, talking about his experiences being a musician in both the Dayton area and beyond. Jamy has been a critical part of several bands including, Luxury Pushers, Mystery Addicts, Haunting Souls, and Dumbell.

Will, Dan, and Shawn are joined by veteran Dayton punk rocker Jamy Holliday as they discuss his introduction into the world of music and his relation with the Dayton music scene. Jamy has been a critical part of several bands including, Luxury Pushers, Mystery Addicts, Haunting Souls, and Dumbell. We would like to thank Jamy Holliday for letting us share these pictures.

Will, Dan, and Shawn are joined by their good friend Nate McCorkle and discuss his career with Dayton’s own “Morella's Forest” (of which Shawn was also a member of) and his career in the Christian music scene. This episode was recorded in November of 2024, and was the second episode we recorded.

Will, Dan, and Shawn continue their conversation with Tyler Trent of Brainiac. Brainiac just finished touring the midwest, opening for the band Mogwai. We were honored to have Tyler come and talk with us, he has some amazing stories to share. We hope you enjoy it too!
