Hello, and welcome to another special episode of the most unpronounceable podcast ever.

This time, I want to share a discussion between the legendary Peter Levenda (one of my first guests in Season One), myself, and the UFOTwitter community, hosted by the bubbly Holly Wood of Project NANU.

We talk of celestial ascent, the nature of others, the intersection between magick and ufology, and of course "Stairway to Heaven", the course Peter and I will teach in February and March 2024. Oh, we also answer a lotHeaven,"magic of questions.

Known for his excellent books "Fresh Fever From the Skies", "Naturalistic Occultism: An Introduction to Scientific Illuminism", and "HRILIU: Symbolic Explorations of the Gnostic Mass", IAO131 has been a member of O.T.O. for over a decade, culminating with the schisms of 2018 e.v. - and that's where begun to correspond more directly, given the abuse we had to both endure by the words and deeds of our ex-Brethren.

These days he is the primary force behind Thelemic Union, an organisation dedicated to spreading the magical and philosophical system of Thelema. He aims to do this through fostering a secular, non-hierarchical community of Thelemites, disseminating well-researched and well-produced materials promoting Thelema, and representing Thelema and Thelemic values to inter-faith communities and the world in general.

Iconoclastic 3TEETH frontman Alexis Mincolla is dedicated to exploring the relationship between archetypes, mythologies, history, and the hypocrisy of the human experience.

I wanted to ramble with Mr. Levenda for a long time, and I was delighted when he finally got back to me.

Still, I was not prepared for the sheer amount of information we went through in the hour we spent together: from discussing his upcoming book with Jeffrey D. Evans and a new possible solution to the Riddle of AL (something for the Thelemites out there), to his extensive involvement with the ongoing disclosure project related to the UFO/UAP phenomena, and much more.

WHO'S OUR GUEST TONIGHT?

Peter Levenda is a native of the Bronx who has lived and traveled all over the world during the course of his career.  A writer, researcher, investigator, and historian he has authored more than a dozen books and appeared as an expert on Nazi ideology and history on television documentaries aired on the History Channel, National Geographic, Discovery, and TNT, as well as on numerous radio programs and podcasts.

His first book - Unholy Alliance (1995) - boasts a foreword by Norman Mailer. 

He is currently working with Tom DeLonge (of Blink-182 fame) on the To The Stars project, co-authoring with Tom the three volume non-fiction series Sekret Machines: Gods, Man, and War, about a new approach to the UFO Phenomenon based on unprecedented access to US government and industry sources. To The Stars was instrumental in obtaining verified US Navy UFO videos to the public in 2017, as well as getting Congress to agree to a non-classified report to the American people on what the government knows about the UFO Phenomenon.

The Mao of Business was published in the United States in 2007, and in a Chinese-language translation in Beijing the following year.

He has published on Tantra (Tantric Temples: Eros and Magic in Java; The Tantric Alchemist); on the darker side of American history (Sinister Forces); on Nazism (Unholy Alliance; Ratline; The Hitler Legacy); Freemasonry (The Secret Temple); Mormonism (The Angel and the Sorcerer); and on magic (The Dark Lord), as well as a trilogy of novels based on the Lovecraft oeuvre (The Lovecraft Codex; Dunwich; Starry Wisdom). His UFO trilogy, co-authored with Tom DeLonge, includes Sekret Machines: Gods, Sekret Machines: Man, and the upcoming Sekret Machines: War.  In addition, he has worked with Jeffrey Evans on bringing the discoveries of the Typhonian Order’s K’rla Cell to light in the upcoming Rites of the Mummy.

Levenda holds an MA in Religious Studies and Certificate in Asian Studies (FIU 2007), is a member of the American Academy of Religion (AAR) and the Association of Former Intelligence Officers (AFIO).

Unaussprechlichen Ramblen is a "live podcast experience" hosted on Patreon, where I will invite fellow magicians, occultists, artists, and mystics and ramble along with them. By doing so, I hope to introduce you all to a much wider perspective on magick than what we get nowadays from occult social media - which is frankly beginning to feel very stale, repetitive, and uninspired.

Our first guest is Rodney Orpheus.

He was born in Ireland and joined the music business in the 80s as lead singer of The Cassandra Complex, one of the originators of the European electro-industrial music scene. Since then he has become a successful record producer and technologist.

Rodney has published two books on the works of Aleister Crowley (Abrahadabra: Understanding Aleister Crowley’s Thelemic Magick, and Grimoire of Aleister Crowley). He has been a member of O.T.O. for just shy of 30 years, one of the few publicly recognised IX Degrees and ex Deputy Grand Master of the UK Grand Lodge. He resigned from O.T.O. in recent years, following the ongoing schisms.

He lectures internationally in both technology and occult subjects and is a frequent speaker at academic and trade conferences as well as on TV and radio. He currently lives in London, England.

In the 60 minutes spent together, we discussed both the return of the Satanic Panic, his upcoming book with Phil Hine, how this new wave is similar and how it differs from the one they lived, and why we should really be afraid of it.

Also, his experience as a Thelemite of over 30 years, his beginnings in Chaos Magick with the original IOT group, how the perception of the Current changed in this time, if there is still value in joining an "Order" or if they all fall short in the end, and to explain his point about "Pure Will" as opposed to "True Will" - which he briefly outlined in this article.

I have met Ian at various esoteric meetings in London over the years and always looked forward to the day when he'd finally put into words his ideas on Traditional Witchcraft.

That day has arrived - after having to reschedule multiple times due to COVID-related issues - and we will learn from him how this book came to be and what truly is the Witch Compass.

Ian Chambers is a long-time practitioner of modern Traditional Witchcraft and folk sorcery. Ian has received inductions in several Traditional Craft sodalities and maintains working relations through the traditional lines of witchcraft.  A selection of Ian's writings has appeared in various magazines, including The Cauldron, White Dragon, and The Hedgewytch, and current works may be found at By The Pale Moonlight at Patheos Pagan.

Jason Miller doesn't need much of an introduction from me, as he's one of the most well-known and respected authors in Occulture today.

In this episode we focused mainly on Jason's new book, fresh out of the press, Consorting With Spirits. Throughout the chat, we got a much better idea of what means to work with what he calls "the invisible allies", and how to strike the delicate balance between opening up to the unseen - and protecting oneself from the potential dangers therein.

Jason Miller (Inominandum) has devoted 35 years to studying practical magic in its many forms. He is the author of six books, including the now classic Protection & Reversal Magick. He teaches several courses online including the Strategic Sorcery One Year Course,  the Sorcery of Hekate Training, and the Black School of Saint Cyprian.

He lives with his wife and children in the mountains of Vermont.

I first met Giulia over 10 years ago in Rome, at the yearly Pagan Pride Day celebration. Ultra alcoholic mead was involved, apparently. Over the years we kept in touch through the internet and in this episode we discuss her tradition, the Temple of Ara, the intersection between witchcraft and shamanism, and the dangerous fascination with everything "Catholic" that plagues today's occulture.
